I’m just a one guy truck. I’m using FuelOx and a drop of 2 stroke. My truck has never ran better before and got a solid mileage improvement after a few weeks of use. It’s not a miracle product but it helps.
The most important function of additives is the lubricate injectors and fuel pump. When the sulfur was removed from fuel all of the lubricity was lost and the wear on injector plungers and fuel pump components when through the roof. Biodiesel is the best but often not appropriate for tractors but great for pickups. Best alternative is to find and buy B-100 and keep a 6 gal container (s)and dose each fill-up. I keep a measuring cup so that I know how much to add to my fuel-up to get a B-05 mix. You can also fill up a bunch of soda bottles with the correct amount and throw away each time. Hassle yes, reduction in downtime and maintenance costs...your call
I buy HSS EDT from their website because they give you discount if you have CDL. Being using it for about a year in my 2017 Volvo with d13 engine and it’s been great so far. Good performance, MPG and cold start. Cost is not a big deal for me since I’m keeping the engine healthy. Not to mention the great fuel discount I got, that is minimizing the cost of fuel additive. Great video as always👍
Fuel Ox is $489.01 per gallon with shipping and your discount. PP Max Mileage is $240.88 for one gallon with shipping. Help me with that math because it's a little different than yours.
Sure. First, the price went up since that video which I can not control. Next, 1 Gallon of max mileage treats 3,200 gallons of fuel. For a per gallon cost of 7.53 cents per gallon to treat the fuel. 1 gallon of Fuel Ox treats 10,000 gallons of fuel for a cost of 4.89 cents per gallon. which is 36% cheaper per gallon treated
Howes and hss are snake oil. Dieselkleen there’s an alternative for 1/10th of the price per gallon treated. Schaeffer’s makes a fuel treatment now and it looks and smells like a concentrated version of the dieselkleen. Couple months supply is only 60$. Dieselkleen is 40-50$ a week if you use it every fillup. Max mileage is the best overall product but it’s a fuel catalyst and doesn’t work like other fuel additives or add any lubricity or cetane.
looking for help cat engine in a 14 pete engine fan comes on at 180 tries to keep engine temp at that before it was coming on at 215 run it down to below 200 worked great didnt run alot why did it change
possibly a bad temp sensor. I would start there. doesn't sound like a fan clutch or a/c issue. probably electronic. if it was only a bad thermostat i wouldnt think the fan would come on, but also I'm not all that familiar with the cat electronics
You did the same math I did. I broke down the ones I would most likely use, and just for cost and ease of access I use the EDT. I can grab it at a truckstop, I don’t need to have it shipped to me. Otherwise I’d use FuelOx since I don’t have a shipping address. And initial cost. I’m Canadian too so every purchase there is exchange, so with all things included HSS is the more reasonable choice for myself at this time. Especially since they also offer oil additives to help my engine run cooler too. Now if fuel OX ever closes its deal to get into a truckstop chain. Look out.
@@markm0000 ya, being Canadian, working away from home literally. I live in Alberta I work out of Ontario. It’s possible but then exchange and shipping comes into play.
For great discounts with no fuel card needed watch this video. ua-cam.com/video/LjB5Y60p1qI/v-deo.html
Thanks for this information for truckers. You are appreciated with all the knowledge that you have and sharing it out.
I appreciate that

good idea
I use the max mileage and never thought about doing the math to see what the added cost per gallon is. Thanks great video.
it's a good product, but the fuel ox is twice as concentrated and significantly less expensive.

Im no chemist but when something looks and smells exactly the same you bet there’s a good chance it’s the same thing.

Hotshot secret is a very great product I use it ive also ran fuel ox
Does the ox help your mileage?
What exactly does it do?
Check out his interview I did with the founder, He does a great job explaining all their products. Have been getting alot of great feedback on them
I own a f650 box truck. Cummins 6.7. Is fuel ox compatible?
yes
Why Didn’t FPPF make the list ?
Had to cut it off somewhere, I'm sure there are dozens a guy could put on the list.
@DYI What's your opinion on def treatment catalyst by Pittsburgh power
fuel ox is twice as concentrated, and considerably cheaper.
No hard evidence which works better.

You can ship something to a UPS store address and it if has your name on it they’ll hold it and you can pick it up.
