Exactly. Everyone wants to say her and Maddy have an underrated friendship. Then why didn't Rue tell her about Cassie and Nate until it was convenient for HER?
@@NS6711why? What she did here was selfish. She could’ve told Maddy about Cassie and Nate as soon as she saw them together, but instead she waited until she needed a distraction.
At least she actually takes care of her daughters, is there for them, and doesn’t abuse them. Also, she doesn’t drive drunk with her daughters in the car like their dad did 🤷
She was probably right but rules messed up and she's destructive af. But Cass isn't innocent either. Rue is a blight. Just let her make her choices and be done with it lol
As someone who's toxic trait is killing people with hurtful words, the way rue blow up Cassie's spot gives a me a very villains sense of satisfaction everytime I watch this scene.
Everyone is talking about Maddie, Cassie or Rue but can we appreciate Cassie and Lexi's mom, Suze? She was sweet-talking to Rue only to say to Lexi that she saw that she doesn't look good at all and called Rue's mom ? And was trying to put all the other drama aside.
I love Rue's delivery when she speaks out about Cassie and Nate, "Hey Cass, I have a quick question for you, how long have you been fucking Nate Jacobs?" Lexi covering her mouth speaks volumes, because she knows it's the truth and everything makes sense to her now. Rue's face here is priceless. 2:19 🤣
this scene showed peak drug addict gaslighting and i dont think it will stop here like this scene made rue the antagonist and honestly zendaya as an antagonist is HORRIFYING
no, but cass actually made a good point when she said rue's a drug addict and we should not trust her but cass did not have the confidence to pull that off 😭😭😭 this scene is a masterpiece laugh my ass off every time i watch it 😭😭😭 also, this scene is so iconic that youtube search immediately recognises what i was looking for, when i'm typing rue o... 😭😭😭

I saw clips of this scene on facebook and i always thought it was her boyfriend, but when i heard it was her ex, my immediate thought was "hes your ex. Get over whoever fucks him"
people say doing drugs makes you dumb, and is that true, to an extent yes, you’re killing your brain. But you do become smart in other ways, like deceiving others, and getting out of situations just like this scene, even if it takes losing a friend or two, because why would rue care that she fucked up people’s relationships, she just wants another opportunity to get high, she doesn’t care.
Somebody edited a version of this scene into a hilarious parody with hilarious subtitles somewhere, used to watch it like last year, but now I can't find it anywhere. Anyone who recognize what video I'm talking about, and know which channel it was?
Even though Rue was shady for how she said it;-and just saying this because she was on the spot; her intentions weren’t very good; she literally only lashed out at Cassie because she wanted the attention off her pretty much, but despite this, every time Cassie lies and says; “she’s a drug addict why would anybody believe her.” Idk, it just pisses me off lol. I mean Cassie always tries to act like such a sweetheart,-a nice, and genuine good person, when really the core of Cassie is not very sweet,& not very good. Because even tho Rue was shady for how she said it; but Rue is herself; and she wasn’t lying. She in fact was telling the truth lol. But with Cassie; it’s almost as if she turns into this person slowly through time. You go from feeling a sadness towards Cassie feeling as if Cassie is a victim to quickly realizing that’s not the case. And she’s definitely not a good friend..at all. She for sure Knows Maddy&Nate are on again/off again but doesn’t care…knowing Nate’s manipulative history in how he treats Maddy; Cassie does not care. And when confronted instead of owning up to it; lies and says mean damaging words trying to make herself look like the victim. But, the good thing about this show is they’re supposed to be teenagers who have the capability of growing up and learning from their mistakes so I’ll give her that; she’s young and dumb lol. And Cassie for sure can change all this and learn from her “mistakes.” In fact; even grown adults can still make these kind of mistakes and learn. Just like; you’ve got to make sure you never do it again lol. But we all make mistakes; and can learn a need do better. This show does a wonderful job showing no matter the situation;-there is hope; for anyone- even Nate of course lol. And Random I know but gosh Alexa Demie has done Such a good job portraying Maddy. Because even tho she’s put out there as “the mean girl” she really is a decent person; with a good heart And a really great friend. She never turned her back on Rue, Lexi, Kat and Cassie. Even tho several times they weren’t there for her;(Maddy) &she felt so alone it was easier to turn to Nate; after everything This kid has done to her; And poor girl didn’t give up on Nate; -even though Nate has proven to be narcissistic; abusive and a huge mess. Also when Kat said; “because Cassie seems like the type of person that’d slept with your boyfriend” she wasn’t lying lol. She really did even early on seem like that LOL. But Sydney does great as Cassie too; (all actresses and actors I personally think were casted greatly and do amazing in their roles) even though Cassie has done some ho€ A$$ Sh! t, lol; she’s relatable and you can see how she’s struggling like all the other characters in their own way. In the end; your right back to feeling Cassie’s sadness and bad for her inc. (end of most recent season I mean lol) Sydney Sweeney really is such a wonderful actress and goodness The rest are pretty damn relatable too. Lol-y’all already kno Zendaya deserves an Emmy; inc for her performance. Phenomenal Great actress. - her portrayal as Rue is really one of the best I’ve ever seen. Idk why I typed so much I’m so sorry lol. If you read this; Thanks for reading!❤
Guys, I've never watched the show and don't intend to, but from what I understand I'm confused by why Cassie's supposedly the villain here. She didn't get with the dude until he and Maddy were already broken up, right?? Why are they treating her like a witch?
Her best friend was in love with him and he abused her mentally and physically. Even regardless of that Cassie never should have gotten with her current best friend’s ex on principal alone, but especially knowing how awful he was to her having seen it first hand as her bff.
Do you not understand that she’s been lying about it? Thats the main issue… maddy has been trying to work things out with him confused on why he’s not interested and it’s because he’s with her friend and she has NO IDEA. that is absolutely humiliating. Don’t be dense.
Maybe a little bit but rues parts are very good. I didn't really care much for Maddy, Nates and Cassie's parts because it's mostly just overdramatizing high school to the extremes, however I felt Rue's parts on a personal level
@@TheTrueAegonTargaryenother characters are written the best? the whole cassie/maddie/nate thing was retarded. especially because in season 1 nate hated cassie, was all over the place with maddy, and loved jules. then in season 2, all of a sudden he loves cassie and has no dialogue with jules at all. kat got thrown to the side like nothing and was just there. jules was the definition of "don't do this" but does that same exact thing later on and expects to be forgiven like nothing happened. at least cal's story was concluded with him finally getting arrested. the over exaggerated high school drama and borderline sexual scenes made everything so much worse. rue and fez had the most interesting storylines as they weren't over the top with everything.
