Tip to get ahead on the reading... Look for an audio version of the books and play them while doing other things. Saves alot of time. Hope this helps! 🙂
Georgia Thomsett I agree except for when I’m trying to pick out specific vocabulary and such. That is difficult for me to do through an audio book because I need to see the page number to include in my plans.
@@PocketfulofPrimary thanks for the reply you are my favourite UA-camr. That does make sense actually, just though it might help to catch up then you could go back and pick out the vocab
Thank you so much for these great videos. I started watching them this summer and you have really inspired me. I have been a 5th grade teacher for many years ( I am 61), but I have added some great new learning activities and organizational ideas into my classroom because of watching your channel. On Friday we did the Saving Fred activity. They loved it!! So thank you from the bottom of my heart and keep encouraging your fellow teachers because we all need it. :)
I always keep a pen in my bag. The state and county has decided to start paving our roads. I never know where and when I am going to get stuck in paving. So, when I'm waiting, I gt papers or/and do my lesson plans. You also reminded me that I need to clean out my bag. It's getting to be a hot mess.
Love all your tips I’m a brand new teacher well I taught PreK last year now I’m teaching 4th and 5th grade writing and social studies I’m seeking organizational ideas were teaching doesn’t encroach too much on my family live
I just got this backpack after you supply video! It’s so amazing. I love it so much. If anyone is curious about it, I’m 100% with her. I live in the neighborhood of my school and we walk so it’s super helpful on my back and shoulders!
I don’t know if you already have Audible, but that’s how I keep up with my guided reading! I listen to them in the car all the time so that I can keep up!
Betony Latham It gets to be over 100 degrees here in MD so a normal chapstick melts as well. But I use the kind in a tube that is a liquid you squeeze out so it doesn’t matter if it gets hot 👍🏼
I bought the bag after your previous video only to find out a new Canadian teacher we have also watched you. She noticed my backpack and asked. Hi from Scotland.
I bought a backpack similar to yours for student teaching after watching your first video where you suggested a backpack! ❤️ What would you suggest a student teacher to have in their bag?
I just saw a Dupe for this backpack in walmart but I didn’t buy it because it seemed small and the quality wasn’t good for $24. So happy I didn’t get it because now I’m ordering this one. Thank ya!
When it comes to rounding, here is a rhyme: Five or more---move next door. Four or less---please regress. Bingo markers from Party City can also be used for place value when kids are working in groups and are using chart paper.
I actually don’t teach my students that rhyme because it doesn’t help them understand what rounding really means and WHY they would round to a particular number. I have place value disks that I use that have the different values on them 👍🏼
I absolutely love your teacher backpack! I’ve been looking for a really nice one with handles at the top! It’s so stylish and functional! Exactly what I need for school, and my teacher intern program classes 😀💗
Could you do a teaching resource video for all different videos??? That is something college doesn’t prepare you for! Practical resources. Love this video Michelle
Hi Michelle! Love your videos! I am also teaching reading (departmentalized) in elementary school (1st-2nd grade) so I would love to see how you lesson plan, organize, etc for multiple classes! Thank you!
The perfect teacher bag contents! ☺️ would you ever be willing to do a video on how you run guided reading? I’m on the struggle bus with that. I want the short time we have in groups to be beneficial! Thank you for all your amazing teacher videos!
Can you link to that Hand 2 Mind book? Ive been starting to use their resources online for my math resource intervention classes and I LOVE them!! Would love to have a hard copy book!
I love this video! Thanks for sharing! I am a first-year kindergarten teacher, and I have been looking for a better work bag! I got the navy blue version of the backpack! 🙂
I purchased this backpack because of your teacher favourites video and I LOVE it! I'll be filming a WIMB video on it soon :) Thanks for sharing Michelle!
This video is so cool! I love these kinda videos. It’s always nice to hear from teachers from across the globe! Hi, from an Indian teacher, Ms Arati ✨💕
michelle can you do a video on how you make student note pages becuase i have just started a place value topic and my county make you have student note pages
Hi, I know and fully respect you not wanting to film in your classroom, however, could you share things/lessons that you are doing with your class in areas like Reading/Math/Science? Please?! I could really use them I am having an awful year with the current class I have and I actually am thinking of leaving. Please, your videos have helped me tremendously. Thank you. Alicia from CT
I don't know if anyone asked this, but would a laptop fit in the bag? I'm a grad student studying education and am looking for a somewhat looking professional bag...

Probly working with kids

You could get the plastic containers at DAISO Japan. $1.50 each. Wayyyy cheaper than amazon.
