The similar thing about these 2 gundam? Their armor can chip away😊
Everyone in the comment seems to forget that in the post disaster era, all their mobile suits are coated in nanolaminate armor, which rendered all beam weapons obsolete. So basically the only thing that the strike freedom would have to use is the railguns, and even then, good luck targeting it.
Nanolaminate armor can melt and wear off. A very similar armor exists in SEED for battleships and the Blitz alone was able to wear it out by continuing to hit it with beam shots Barbatos doesn't have the speed necessary to be able to dodge Freedom's atttacks. Furthermore, SF's Variable Phase Shift Armor renders it largely immune to Barbatos' attacks. Nothing in its weaponry is strong enough to penetrate it, not even the tail.

the only pilot who does not deserve to use the freedom gundam. tf holds the dragoon and shoots long range weapons at once to a very near target
That's because Dragoons can't be used under gravity. He also doesn't use them during the full burst attack at the end
@@kflareplays746and also both machines armors counter the others prefered weaponry so he literally had to use it like a blade to forcibly peel the barbatos' armor off
And also the Dragoons can be used as daggers as well.
The Super DRAGOONs are not only stated to have beam emitters to produce beam blades, but they actually get used in Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3
Oh a GBN seed mode
After the movie we can kinda quantify what it would takes to overwhelm the strike freedom, namely: - mind reading + 2v1 tag team + multiple missile platform + antibeam armor + volture luminere equivalent mobility . 1v1 the sf probably could outclass most near peer suit
it really depends on the pilot
Just get close to the Strike Freedom. It's made for long range spam, but close range barrage.
@@jaderabbit898 Forgot the railguns already? Those can be used at close-range
@@kaihedgie1747 Not if those get taken out first.
@@jaderabbit898 Not if you want to risk getting a face full of head vulcans first. Destiny itself specializes it close combat and the moment it tried to melee Strike Freedom, it caught its Ardonight blade with its hands and fired point blank with its railguns while its hands were full

That's a lot of people. Looks overwhelming. Have fun my guy. Orlando is something else
Lol vase freedom gundam more than enough to defeat Barbatos. VPS armor can handle all physical damage from Barbatos
Nice. I've been meaning to get one of those as well and even have the chance to but I haven't made the investment yet. I've been using a small metal dish rack
For me, Base Freedom > Lupus Rex
Hwo to use DRAGOON SYSTEM : Fly & shoot: ❌ Stab it : ✅
The dragoon system can only fly in space.
They can't fly bcs of gravity
You forgot gravity and it's restrictions on dragoon
So......who wins??
Im working on a stop motion now and this is nice to see. Good work my guy 👍
Thanks
Why not have B O T H. Kitbash.
BLR wins.. Why? *Beam weapons are useless *The SF Gundam doesn't have Physical melee weapons that could damage the NLA of Lupus Rex. *The VPS armor is not immune to Rip and Tear combat style of Lupus Rex. *What about the railguns? They just bounced off Lupus Rex's Ultra Large mace.. 🤷🤷🤷
Nice clown take, but strike freedom stomps. The rail guns absolutely wreck barbie.
@@Geozone117 2:00 Was the Railgun able to destroy the Lupus Rex? 🤷
IBO fanboy spotted. Barbatos loses every fight, it's not even a contest. - Nanolaminate isn't the end all be all defence against beams, it can be worn off - Phase shift armour has been stated to be completely immune to physical attacks, which is what Barbatos specialises in. Nevermind the fact that Barbatos should never be able to get anywhere near the Strike Freedom in the first place - The railgun would realistically go through the mace, seeing how it goes through battleships with ease. It didn't because it's a gunpla battle without taking the respective universe's tech into account
@@kelvinlee1469 *Nanolaminate Armor is a cutting-edge defense technology for IBO Mobile Suits and ships. It involves applying a metal paint onto surfaces, which reacts to Ahab Particles. This innovation effectively neutralizes beam weapons by diffusing and deflecting the beam energy, making it a formidable defense against mobile armors. *Nanolaminate Armor is not only resistant to beam weapons but also highly effective against physical projectiles. Ranged weapons can only chip away small pieces of it, leading to the prevalence of physical melee weapons as the most effective means of damaging the armor. *The Ultra Large Mace is made of "High Hardness Rare Alloy" it is a metallic substance with high strength almost as strong as Gundanium Alloy. *Strike Freedom is Fast capable of moving at high speed BUT Lupus Rex is Agile Able to move quickly and easily.. 🤷
@@maxcoronas3103 But the strike freedom can fly. The Barbatos cannot. And as far as pilot skill goes, the Game champ is stronger than Hiroto. Honestly, the only way the Barbatos could win this, is if it could grapple the Strike Freedom. .... But that would be a huge if. ....Of this fight in particular, I'd say that The Strike Freedom has a 70% chance of winning.
Both armor are two sides of a coin. One immune to physical attacks, other to beams.
They are resistant not immune
@@Geozone117 that for Barbatos case, strike Freedom, not even a dent.

Wait, but doesn't the Phase Shift armor make the suit virtually invulnerable to physical attacks. The Barbatos doesn't have any beam weapons, so the SF literally cannot be damaged by it?
Same with Barbatos, all the Mobile suits in IBO are somewhat invulnerableto Laser weaponry that's the reason all weapons in that anime are all physical attacks. The SF doesn't have any Physical weapons, so the Barbatos literally cannot be damaged by it if we follow your logic. But the invulnerablility of both MS has it's limits that's why when SF used one of its Dragoon as a knife, it was able to partially damage Barbato's shoulders. And SF is keeping a gap with Barbatos because even if it has somewhat invulnerable for Physical attacks, Barbato's Mace still can deal damage if used correctly. I hope this answers your question.
@@GM_Rusaku You forgot that SF literally have a railgun that use solid projectile in it
@@Chronos_Eternia You got me there, I'm always forgetting that because of the effect shot ahahaha.
@@GM_RusakuThe IBO mobile suits are also somewhat invulnerable to physical weapon. In order to pierce the armor of mobile suits from IBO you need to have a very high caliber gun like colony laser equivalent caliber to pierce the armor. Regular rounds won't do jack shit to IBO units even with Strike Freedom's twin hip-mounted railgun as they are powerful, but not powerful enough to pierce Barbatos's armor.
@@Chronos_Eternia well there's two reasons 1. Barb is still armored and framed with powerful nondescript better than titanium metal so it can still take a few grazing railgun 2. the railguns arent often treated as a physical attack outside of seed and games, like it's usually just used as part of full burst
Mf champion is like this with the SF but what about in Mighty SF. Would Lupus Rex still be able to go toe to toe with it. 🤔
No

@@danmakuusou9348 also add the fact the laser is literally invisible to the naked eye with its speed doubt even a limiter released Barbie would be able to dodge that

@@Prime92 Nanolaminate armor melts when shot with beam weaponry, so Rex would eventually lose its armor under sustained fire from SF. Beyond that, SF has railguns that Rex has no defense against, and can fly. SF has an incredibly precise weapons system too, so there's basically nothing that Rex can do in this matchup besides getting hammered until either the nanolaminate melts off or the railguns tear it apart. Barbatos doesn't even have clear melee superiority; all versions of Freedom are highly mobile and competent close-range machines. Barbatos just has the big problem of coming from IBO, where all the technology is really weak by Gundam standards. There's a serious question if it'd be able to fight against even units from the late-OYW simply due to the ubiquity of beam weapons. Nanolaminate armor is basically the anti-beam coating on the Hyaku-Shiki from Zeta Gundam, which definitely wasn't an end-all answer to beam weapons and could just be shot through with even moderate beam weapons.
