A sad day for the Magnificent Mane 🦁 😭
You should try standard stock
Fantastic video,I love seeing the tunnel lit up ,great information as well keep these videos coming 👍
I prefer the original audio, but I understand that at times, you need to suppress this. Many thanks for an interesting video. For a while in the 90s, I lived in Wembley and used to travel to work on the Bakerloo line from Wembley Central to Dilly Circus.
Yes, train stuff please. Nobody does a driver's eye view tube journey as you do. The balance between entertaining presentation and explaining what that thing coming into view now at track level actually does, is pretty much spot on. Here's hoping that the Victoria line powers that be have allowed you to film sthg similar to your Bakerloo line 'my day at the office' vid.
@@JP_TaVeryMuch thanks JP! I'm still working on it! I did manage to spend a day in the depot on the Victoria line interviewing staff and train fitters, I have a lot of footage from the wheel lathe too! But I can't use it publicly just yet 😔
@@awesomecreationschannel Good luck with it and I'm sure that none of us watching would breathe a word if it somehow got onto your channel!
@JP_TaVeryMuch as much as I love that idea! 😂 I am in a privileged position and I can't push my luck too much 😬
Thanks for shoutout😂😂😂
What was the music?
@@posttime29 I have no idea what the music was called, but it was there to cover a radio I had with the signaller.
Bakerloo line was my local and always my favourite. I would love to ride the cab and visit the depot. How could I arrange that
Just watched the full series very informative for the Bakerloo line I will be back.
@@dippytoots369 thank you very much 😊
How fast is the bakerloo line running in the tunnel section?
Add me to the list of viewers who want this series to continue - love the station names being added as well. :) Great series.
@@MarkHyde thanks very much Mark 😊👍
NO to background music
Enjoyed watching and lots of interesting facts pop up on screen. How many signalboxes control the Bakerloo line and where are they located?
@@TheMisterB2u the Bakerloo Line is quite complex regarding signalling as it's been through 3 different systems in it's lifetime. The short answer is it's now a digital system controlled in one place, the Line Control room. The Bakerloo line is separated between 2 signallers, north and south and the overground has it's own signaller in their control room in Wembley.
Love your torch… normally you cant see anything inside tube videos :O
@@FSim4ever thanks very much! I am confident that I have the best quality tunnel video of the Bakerloo line on the Internet! And it was a bit of a risk getting it 😅
Is this a game or is this real life? I wasn't sure because it did seem a bit jerky at times
@@elixier33 this is most definitely real 😂
@@awesomecreationschannel thank you I kind of realised that as I went through the watching of it but some people have fake stuff like games and stuff well they are doing videos of real life stuff sometimes you can get confusing. A really good example of that as Microsoft flight simulator it's literally so real you can't tell the difference.
Received mine last week after watching your review, really nice fit and although the temperature hasn’t been cold enough to get the full benefit from it, it’s really warm! Probably my best buy this year as a brickie
@@petercotgrave7478 I'm glad I could help dude 😊 Even without the heating on it is a really warm base layer. I don't do much work outside anymore but I barely ever need the heat on!
What gauge is the square tube?
Great video, only just found it. A lot of very interesting information, well explained. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of your series soon. A couple of questions though. What is the gradient on the line from the London Road depot down to the running lines and how difficult is it getting traction to drive up, back to the depot?
@@simprove thanks very much! I hope you enjoy the rest of the episodes 👍 I don't know the gradient unfortunately but it is quite tricky coming back into the depot. Stabling road number 1 is the tightest turn on the entire underground network and it has a less than 5mph speed limit uphill or risk derailing! The other roads are a lot easier but you still have to be very careful not to stall the train.
Please remove any music. Full enjoyment of these train videos comes without the distraction of music. Secondly, music is a very personal choice, and chances are that your choice of music will not be the next persons choice. In my case, I am sure that most peoples’ music choice will not match with mine. Thirdly, leaving out music will save you time. PS. Excellent videos. Could you please ensure that the station name is shown, so that I can follow your videos on a map. Keep up the excellent work.
These videos are Brilliant 👏 Was hoping to see Part 5 and 6 but they're not there :( 😞
@@Baby2011JJ thank you! I'm still working on them, it's a permission thing unfortunately 🙁
@awesomecreationschannel completely understandable :)
Loving the new Intro mate 👍🏼Shame i'm too late to enter the comp
@@davecarter9135 yeah I thought I'd step it up a bit 😁 Imagine the shipping costs!! 🫨
Nice Job 🙂👌
@@Sagittarius182 thanks very much, I hope you enjoy the rest of the series 😊👍
Thank you for the chance. Well done, jason, and I'm looking forward to the next video. Keep doing well, chris, and the videos are awsum.
I really hope you get the chance to do this with other underground lines. That would be awesome.
A dream I have had for years but seems to be impossible: Drive a LT1996 stock into this line :(
@@RDL1984 is that the Jubilee line stock?
@@awesomecreationschannel yes
Nutter!
I can see that there's overrrun beyond Elephant and Castle here, but on other terminus stations, would I be right - since the Moorgate disaster in 1975 - "Moorgate protection" is now on all other terminus tube stations that don't have overrun?
@@ACELog I don't know much about the Moorgate disaster unfortunately, but the continuing tracks you see at Elephant and Castle are called sidings, we can stable trains here if overnight or if they are defective. I've also not heard of Moorgate protection so I don't think that is a combine wide practice. There are so many safety features designed into the trains old and new that I don't know how the driver managed to cause such a big incident but I will look into it!
Thanks for the interesting video's do drivers have to travel in the dark through tunnels and is it hard on your eyes when you emerge into the light or approach a station,👍
Hi Dave, yes in the tunnels of the Bakerloo line it is very dark and when we emerge from the tunnel northbound at Queens Park it is a bit of a strain, especially if the sun is out! The platforms are well lit though so we don't spend all of the time in complete darkness 👍
Yes please some more music
"Trip cock" And that photo explains a lot💀
Mate that is an awsum and showing the power of a plasma cutter, never seen one in action, this is An awsum post and very thourgh and showing all tye controls , thanks for this and good luck with the give away, and if I can enter this that would be so amazing. Well done and thankyounfor showing this , very well done and great video .
Please please no background music!!!
@@philbartlett7898 don't worry, there isn't on the rest of this series 😊👍
Awesome review and congrats on your subgoal. Would have loved to enter this giveaway but I'm from the USA. Goodluck to everyone and stay blessed
@@starfire333 thank you so much for the lovely comment! What I might do is a separate competition for overseas viewers to win a small prize that's cheaper for me to send, so consider yourself in with a chance to win something 😊👍
I noticed that there are the occasional short sections of larger diameter tunnel - what is this for and, is it part of the original construction, or a later modification? Also, there appears to be refuges or cross passages on the right hand side of the tunnel - is this what they are?
@@paulmc0308 Hi Paul, some of these larger sections are old cross over areas with the points removed, some are to help airflow in the tunnels. There are some refuge areas and some maintainance hatches 😊👍
1st class work review 👌 looks like a very nice tool . 16 mm thick max cut cool
I've watched a number of these videos now and not once have I heard the famous, "mind the gap"! I'm guessing that only occurs at certain stations, probably with prominent curvature.
@@alidycepaisley3829 there is an automated PA system that says mind the gap on certain stations, like Waterloo. I edited out the station stopping time to keep the video interesting otherwise you would have heard it, sorry!
Recently came across these gems. Had watched the London Road stock moves some years ago and was surprised to learn about the bits of tunnel not in the public domain
@@peterlane354 interesting fact about the London Road depot, Number 1 road is the tightest turn on the entire network, it's only a short turn but the speed is less than 5mp due to the risk of derailment which is very challenging because we're also traveling uphill and we can stall the train if we're not careful!
I love your videos. In my option the natural background sound is WAY better than background music by a longshot!
Awesome Creations thank you so much bro, for those who don't know he used this plasma cutter to get me out of rubble I was stuck under. 😢This a great man and we should strive to be like him. ❤Awesome Creations 🔛🔝
I don’t doubt this at all. He fixed my car too. Lovely bloke
I'd literally chop everything within reach
I have so much cutting to do! 😅
12:29 - the YAGI antenna on the right hand side under the bridge for the train radio....
Bro Awesome Creations thank you for saving my puppy and me from that burning building. Thank you for also buying me a new house 🏡 You are what people need to be ❤❤❤
I think it's a great use of existing resources, having Tube stock and overground trains sharing the same rails... I guess it's been like that for many decades?🤔
I'm guessing the music was introduced to blank out a sensitive conversation or radio message?🤔
No thanks to the music. I prefer the sounds of the train, great vids btw.
Good video and texts, but no Music please.
@@user-rj2by6pp7f I had to put in music over a very small time to cover sensitive information on a general broadcast 👍
No commentary, how sad.
@@markofsatan9617 thank you for the feedback, but as I wrote out comprehensive explanations on the screen, I didn't feel commentary was needed.
amazon have a 3 pin plug adapter or these. I use one for my Mig and tig welders
@@chriswhitham9233 do you mean a plug with a higher amperage?
Great videos you make mate!! And I am in awe of them and could watch them 24/7 if I could!! Just some feedback, are you able to write up the station names?
Thanks Kris! I do in the next videos 😁
Brilliant, thank you. 45MPH may not be fast, but the acceleration seems impressive to me.
Thank you Peter, some trains which have been recently serviced do perform well for a while 😂
