Two days in Prague, Czech Republic
After we finished walking the southern route of the Way of St Francis, we decided to check out Prague in the Czech Republic. We spent a few days here exploring this beautiful city before heading back to Denver, Colorado.
One amazing benefit of this trip was to see our friend and fellow pilgrim, Claudia, who we met on the Camino Portuguese in March. The people you meet while walking caminos are incredibly special and Claudia is one of those amazing people!

Today was our tenth and final day on the southern route of the Way of St Francis. It's always wonderful to reach your destination, but sad at the same time that the journey is ending. Day nine! We can't believe how fast our camino is going. Only one more day to Assisi! Today, was a fairly easy day and there were not that many hills at all! The plan was to walk from Trevi to Sant' Eraclio, grab lunch then hitch to the other side of the big city of Foligno then walk the last 1.6 miles to Spello. Day eight on the Way of St Francis was from Poreta to Trevi for a total of 8.3 miles. It was a wonderful day of walking past olive groves and meeting amazing pilgrims walking the opposite way to Rome. After walking for five days, we decided to rest on our sixth and stay an extra night in Spoleto. This beautify medieval village in the region of Umbria dates back to 241 B.C.
