@antonyhardman7793 don't be sorry. It's a good question, one i don't have a full answer for. I've only played a few hours of dead side (which i believe is made by the same developers...possibly) so I can't attest to the same game play. I do know the devs used the same engine as dead side, but I also know the devs played a bunch of modded rust first before developing the first iteration. But as for similarities with rust is the build style, the monuments, the key cards, the recycling system, the research table, the oil rig, the island, the AI as hunters instead of scientists... almost every aspect minus the fact you're a duck is very very close to Rust. But you have reminded me that I need to play Deadside too since I own it. Lol. Thanks ever so much for watching and asking a good question. Cheers!

@smokey12347 fair enough but I feel rust players are stretching it a bit that it's just rust inspired when lots of the things mentioned are also in lots of other survival crafting pvp style games. And the devs also made deadside which is the play on the name so surely that is also inspiration behind the game and it's play.

@Yes-df3xx you know it's one of those things that I go if im in my inventory screen I should be able to load/unload from any inventory slot even though I know that it doesn't work when you're out of your inventory and you just hit R to reload. I gotta get better at making sure my inventory is in slots that work for all scenarios. Lol. Thanks for watching and the reminder comment.

You are the 2nd person to tell me that CTRL click works and you would think with all the survival games I play that utilize that mechanic that I would intuitively do it on this game too, but something in my brain goes durrrrr and I forget. Lol. I definitely get what you mean. It would look a hell of a lot better if I had a newer GPU. I'm currently still using a 2080 Ti hybrid. Which mashes it surprising that I can get 1080p videos and roughly what like 80 to 120fps while in game. And I think I'm on high graphics settings... I'll have to check that. I may be on medium. It's a gorgeous game, that looks a bit dodgy depending on your pc setup. Ha. And thank you very much for the humorous comment and for watching. Cheers mate!

@@ZomBoSk8r Yeah man I play on a 3060 1080p on high/med/ultra the graphics settings don't actually really change much from what I have noticed. Just the massive amounts of polygons and reflection off the trees makes it look SO bad from distances, but everything up close looks polished as fuck.

I come from games like Satisfactory, factorio, minecraft, etc... you know calm no worries ever kinda games. This is a whole new world for this noob. @@ZomBoSk8r the catwalks are making run faster and you have the escalator too coming up that does that. The ores that cant be reached is becuase you need drilling upgraded to break stones underground. It s written when you mouse hover a node on the map in the italic text.

You'll notice on the video after every kill I put up a scoreboard on the top left. As I'm editing the video I just carefully look out for every shot I make. And I'm not really keeping track of K/D, but more total kills for me and total kills for the AI. Lol

Thanks for that. I'm starting to get better about what meds to use instead of just hitting H and hoping it uses the right thing. I now inspect my health and then choose the appropriate meds, although I do need to get used to holding H and scrolling to use without having to go into my inventory. Lol. So so much to learn still.

Most definitely you should. The Collins river trail which starts near the ol great falls cotton mill at the main entrance to rock island is also very nice. It's a lot longer of a trail and doesn't have any waterfalls, but still a very pleasant hike. I mainly do this shorter one from the video because of the waterfalls. Thanks for watching bossman!

@@ZomBoSk8r Oh be the way perfect tip for early farm is that the place where you find the corn is actualy farm soil and you can mine there for ethernety to get enaf for your farm. Well i didnt find yet fertail soil whould be nice to point that out on map. But yea if you make a large field and plant alot at night and go explore at day than come back the time it takes to grow on farm soil is around a one day-night cycle.
