    Oooohhhh this is definitely one of my favorite parts of the movie. Imo, this scene was both written and portrayed beautifully. I kinda miss the DCEU

    i will never understand the criticisms of this film (& this version of supes) lacking in being a beacon of hope. he honestly always seemed to embody that, just in a more (no pun intended) down-to-earth way.

    I have always wondered what will it be like if Jor-El can actually make it to Earth besides Kal-El? ua-cam.com/video/drBwuIQyiNc/v-deo.htmlsi=_Zkk7sFgzZ9QaLqp. This is my created UA-cam video in relevant with suggesting additional good sided Kryptonian characters besides Kal-El! 😃😃😃 I’m highly certain most of you will vigorously deposit a lot of love for Lyra Strayd! 😍

    "Hope. That's what this symbol means. The symbol of House of El means hope. Embodied within that hope is the fundamental belief in every person's potential to be a force for good". The first time I heard that line I got goosebumps. Trust Russell Crowe to laid it down epically.

      You haven't explained why it's "so lame". I think given that you can't explain why and back up what you're saying, means your statement is merely subjective, or not shown to be true in any objective way.

      @@BadMannerKorea It's my opinion. The music and acting in Superman: The Movie as well as the visuals were just so much more epic and mesmerizing to me. I'm glad you enjoy this one though. Watch the Clark Kent meets Jor-El clip from the original Superman film on UA-cam its basically poetry compared to this.

    How do you exhaust your natural resources when you colonize other planets with their own resources?

    • @Nemenis
      @Nemenis 9 місяців тому

      the planets they colonized needed supplies from the main krypton. i mean if we go to mars we can get helium, nuclear isotopes, and maybe even water, but thats not gonna be enough to sustain life there on long term. if we fully focused on colonizing our solar system, yes we will find alot of elements but we will run out of our own resources too eventually.

    • @Nemenis
      @Nemenis 9 місяців тому

      if you watched invinicble you would understand why kryptonians died off. viltrumites are pretty much kryptonians but with lesser tech so their only solution was to take over planets with life already in it. while kryptonians took lands with no life or water. zod was the exception to that rule.

    Superman shares so many similarities with Goku: 1. They're children from alien races who conquered other worlds. 2. Both of their worlds were destroyed along with almost all of their people. 3. Both grew up on Earth and had an ability of choice instead of being predetermined what they would become after birth. 4. The remainders of their peoples call them by their birth name instead of their adopted name.

    Even though it's important for Jor-El to tell Kal that he is a child of Earth when he said "So I'm alone.", but just imagine right there if Jor-El told Kal about his cousin Kara. I know they had an open pod somewhere in this movie to tease her, but imagine if Jor-El actually mentioned how she left Krypton with Kal and she was supposed to protect him. He would do whatever he could to find her. I really wish we got to see Henry and Sasha work together. I hope that in James Gunn's reboot we get to see Superman and Supergirl meet. Just imagine Kara's reaction upon seeing Kal all grown up.

    One thing I find interesting about this version of Jor-El is how much he doesn't instill a god complex in Kal. Every other version of Jor kept telling Kal that he was never going to be an Earthling, that he was greater, and that he was a deity among mortals, basically talking down to earthlings. But this version is much more chill about it. He just says, "Yeah, you're born a Kryptonian, but Earth is your home. You're definitely an earthling too."

    • @titan133760
      @titan133760 6 місяців тому

      Jor-El, in his virtual consciousness, also goes so far as to consider himself and his wife to be products of Krypton's failure as a society, thus they both decided never to join Kal to earth. It goes to show how he never sees himself as a god, but a flawed individual who nevertheless believe in the capability for humanity to be good. It's the reason why he doesn't tell his son to be a god among men, but rather to be a hope bringer for all mankind
