I was born & raised in Kansas City. My older brother introduced me to the band IDAHO 20 years ago and i fell in love. We used fo talk about traveling to see IDAHO on the west coast if they ever played live again. Instead, IDAHO came to OUR city and and my brother opened the show with String & Return. This also happened to be my last summer in KC before moving away. Unbelievable. Forever thankful to IDAHO and Liam for capturing it. Thanks, Liam! This is a great recording.

After the first few seconds, I thought, "this sounds a bit like Festival of Dead Deer," which is an old punk band no one has ever heard of. At a minute and a half, I still think it could be in that vicinity. I used to get stoned out of my mind and paint while blaring "The Many Faces of Mental Illness." Don't know if this will be as good, but I'm excited to find out.
