TURKEY SMACK DOWN || UNBELIEVABLE FOOTAGE!!!!
Jake takes on his opening turkey season for 2024. It didn't take but the first hour of light on his second hunt. It was a blast filming this hunt and may be one of my favorites yet!

FIRST OUT OF STATE BUCK!! || Kentucky 2023!!

Well well well.. I've never been on a guided hunt before and this experience was second to none down at Whitetail Crossing in KY. Highly recommended if you are ever thinking on going on an out of state hunt! When I walked into the stand, there was actually a guy in the foodplot, I wish I got video but this was very random. After I scurried him off, It was not but 3.5 hours later that E.D. came ...

With tempurates in the Mid 70's, the deer lay low most the weekend. Cameras have been quite not only at the home piece, but at my farm too. The cultipacker was bouncing a lot. If you rake it, pick rocks out then drive slower the cultipacker will work better.
@@dennisb1224 too big of a field to take, should’ve went slower, yes. No rocks in the field whatsoever.
My corn is very small for July 16 because of 2 bad cold days in June. I need help.
@@marykopydlowski4654 how tall is it now?
@@marykopydlowski4654 how tall is it now?
What harness do you use for your lock on stands?
What stand were you in at the beginning and was your safety harness inside your jacket?
@@AustinYost I can’t remember! It was a sweet set up tho! Had 13 does in that first night
What camera do you use ?
Panasonic LUMIX G7
So just throw it down and it will grow for ever ? Like every year ? And my goats will love it?
The clover and chicory will last a couple years!
@@TheGameInLife and they’ll all reseed it self just like a lawn cover ?
@@AnimeDreamingEcchi the root structure doesn’t die. It’s perennials. It just goes dormant in the winter, and starts growing right away in the spring
@@TheGameInLife ima need to get me some of that stuff then !!
Thanks for the demo. Just getting into arrow building, got my jig dirt cheap realized it was a sweet machine...
You can have lots of fun with these!!
Dude I bought one of these 4 years ago. Since then I've had a carter wise choice, both ultraview hinges, and I always come back to this one. I got it on sale for $60 and it's been my go to for 4 years now
DROPPING THE HAMMER!!!!!! Sir Puch-a-lot 🤣🤣🤣
All I do!! 😎
The bar is just to protect the magnets during shipping/storage.
I Just bought this thing today. What do you think about it now?
Still works good! Been 5 years haha
Rip to that fan. Got the job done but looked like it raked it pretty hard
The fan did indeed get smacked
Killer!
Get a speed loader, the mags are murder on your hands
This deserves more views
I appreciate it!
Thanks for the informative video. I just bought a mondo and never have saddle hunted. I wasn't sure which rope was for what. Excited to give it a try. All good info.
I love this video! This is really cool. Actually I've always wanted to do goat hunting. The thing is when you said low fence, are these goats actually free range or is it like a trophy ranch?
Outfitter said it’s a 60 year old 3 ft fence and there were holes all over, so basically free range. Ranch was 2800 acres
@@TheGameInLife That's cool, but you think that there is feral goats that like probably hop this 3 ft fence and there's like feral ones around because I did search up if there is feral goats in Texas and there is, it's pretty cool
@@dorianptero3255 technically these are feral. These weren’t raised or anything. They’re completely wild
@@TheGameInLife that's cool I mean how have some not gone to other parts of Texas
@@dorianptero3255 couldn’t tell ya. I think for the most of it they do the same thing everyday and stay within a boundary
what did you put on your tree stumps to kill them?
What type fence did you use? Any brand and model info. Thanks
I just used standard 9 wire poly wire I believe. I think it’s meant for horses. Bought it at the local farm store
Dont know what type this is but Neodymium magnets are bad for most electronics even phones. Polymagnets are safer but still not wise to keep close to electronics.
Don’t pull the trigger
I can't stop...
@@TheGameInLife then you should try switching to a back tension release. Your target panic is really bad.
@@Baptistbowhunter I don’t believe it’s target panic, I can punch and shoot x’s all day. It’s what works for me so why try something else 🤷♂️
@@TheGameInLife gotcha I like the content. Keep it coming 🤙🏻
@@Baptistbowhunter preciate it my man, I will doing a hinge video shortly…
To loud
Bow is louder

What release do you have?
Ultraview thumb button
You’re trigger slapping.
Yeah I’m a certified puncher
@@TheGameInLife young and dumb like they say!
@@hamedizzy5137 you’ll be able to call me young and dumb, when I’m 70 still punching 😂
@@TheGameInLife now that’s just naive. Do better with the attitude bud. You’ll get further in life and score much better point down range. I’m not hating on you I promise I was giving advice to help you. I was there too. I wish someone pointed it out to me earlier I would have been tooling better sooner. Your arrow game will go from good’nuf hunter accurate to target accurate and if you know anything about the difference it’s huge!
Is it for a wrist wrap strap 😂 I fr don’t know!?!
Yes! I thought about just putting a bright orange piece of string on mine incase I drop it in the woods since I have the OD green color haha
@@drawntorelease8130 smart!
Slow that punch down bud.
Working on it
Mine failed mid draw yesterday and almost cost me a tooth.
Dude my first draw, I hit the button and the arrow flew Into the woods
I’m sure you set it too hot!
@@hamedizzy5137 negative. I never run them hot. Reset the release and it failed in 3 shots.
@@petefingerhut9413 what failed?
@@hamedizzy5137 the jaws opened. No touching trigger. I did not open it but something in the mechanism broke.
You need some nock ties above and below your nock so your loop isnt pinching the nock. Also quit punching lol
I’ll never quit punching, I’m most confident punching 🤔😂
@@TheGameInLife you can command shoot without moving your thumb that much.
Punching will catch up to you, in a really bad way.....trust me.
I just want to see Big Foot
Same bro
Makes sense to me
could you send a link to buy one of those
ultraviewarchery.com/collections/button-releases/products/the-uv-button
Stop punching the trigger!
Never!
I mean it works for some people. I won't do it because it doesn't work for me and I am a target archer but if it works for you go for it
@@wyattcrapo8655 I’m trying not to but I definitely feel more accurate punching🤷♂️
Most people don’t use true back tension anymore. Even Levi Morgan talks about it
@@nockit86 true. I shoot a thumb button with a much more relaxed shot. I put my thumb on the trigger and relax while I just hold tension
I use one and I love it
I’m quickly falling in love with mine too bro!
I like that I was just wondering how much they were I used to use a thumb button however, I cannot find them anymore for sale. Thank you.
Ultraview sells direct on their website. This one as I stated in the video was 299.99
Its designed to pull threw like the hinge not command punch. Try it your groups will get better.
Will do, thanks Stevie!
You should get an MD 50 gear realese trainer. They are great. I just got one last week.

What rival caliper release do you use
@@AustinYost pretty sure it’s the B3 rival
What size arrow do you shoot?
5mm with rage!
Another thing you can do is flip the pad under and then put your seat up and you have a knee pad rest to protect your knees when you put knees against tree. Darren
I like using timeless fence post
Those are slick!
The SCCY CPX 2 gen 3 is a much-improved version of this gun. But in any case, it shoots like a revolver.
Thanks for info. I reside in Massachusetts , when do you plant it ?? Thank you.
Either April/may or August/early sept
Thank you
Excellent job Spence!
Cool buck!!!!
Stop punching the button
Never
What model arrow rest is that?
Not exactly sure, trophy taker something
What phone case do you use?
This was just a cheap thin Amazon one
Ok thanks
What color is it?
@@AustinYost gray
Thanks
How do you feel about it after 6 months? Any significant points of praise or any negatives? Im on the fence whether i just continue saving and try and get a tethrd or if i just pull the trigger and pick this up and run it till the end of the season 😅
I’ve been using it a ton and I find it pretty comfortable! I’ve sat in it more than a stand and I haven’t had an issue with it
After hunting this season would you say it’s comfortable enough?
Yes 100% I’ve sat it that more than a stand
'PromoSM'
Now that youve used it a little, any good customizations or accessories?
I’ve gotten side bags for it to hold stuff. That’s about it! Pretty solid unit
Great video and info, just got my XOP saddle in. It's gonna be my first time trying saddle hunting. Thanks
Awesome dude!
How did it go?
@@ukjw2 I absolutely love it! It's the only way to hunt as far as I'm concerned. 💯
@@78joeleethanks for the answer. I’ve struggled to find reviews from people who weren’t sponsored somehow by xop.
Do you have a list of items I need to purchase to fence in a garden. And do you have power to the fence or are you using a solar power source.
I am using an electric fencer, used for cattle and such. Fleet farm is where I got the plastic fence posts. And for the t post, you just have to get plastic wire adapters. I use 6 wire poly wire. It would be next to all the fencing stuff
