WOMEN'S FOOTBALL CAMCORDER VLOG: st pauli frauen vs hamburger sv ii --13/10/24
When visiting Germany, I went to watch the Hamburg derby in the women's Regionalliga at Feldstraße :) the football match was free entry and one of the most bizarrely temperamental weather experiences of my life -- all in all an excellent way to spend a Sunday. Afterwards, I visited HAPPENPAPPPEN, a vegan/plant-based café directly opposite St Pauli's stadium. I had a delicious fresh mint tea and warmed up by the window :) I hope you enjoy this video. I am a huge women's football fan and wanted to create something silly with my secondhand thrifted camcorder (recorded on a panasonic hdc-sd9 in october 2024)
Let me know if you enjoyed this and if I should make more! I am a frequent attendee to Chelsea women's games, so could film at either Kingsmeadow or Stamford Bridge, too!

Переглядів 187Рік тому
Hello friends! In today's video, I thought it would be fun to take you along with me to a car boot sale! I feel like car boot sales are such a typical UK summertime tradition and I have really been getting into going and having a rummage every Sunday morning. I think in other countries you might call this type of thing a flea market! So yeah I hope you have fun seeing what me and Milly thrifted...

Hi guys, you might remember me from those two videos I made over 5 years ago lol. If not, welcome to my UA-cam channel! I borrowed my friend's camera to make those two videos, bought my own, and then never made another (oops), I do see all the comments and subscribers I still get from the denim jacket back patch tutorial I made which is amazing. I hope you are going to stick around and see what...

DIY: HOW TO CREATE AND HAND SEW BACK PATCH FROM OLD BAND T-SHIRT
Переглядів 100 тис.7 років тому
DIY: HOW TO CREATE AND HAND SEW BACK PATCH FROM OLD BAND T-SHIRT. Hi guys, I'm currently obsessed with customising my denim jacket. After running out of embroidered patches to add I decided to take matters into my own hands. My old "The Smiths - Meat is Murder" tee had been sitting in my closet for a long time not being worn so I turned it into a back patch for my 'battle jacket'. I love it, an...

I have David Bowie T-Shirt made jackets
80s❤
Wow good patches fashion jackets
If she were to grow her hair long and put on a nice frock, she'd make a smashing bride for some lucky young fellow.
I have so much respect for anything DIY. Killer tutorial, love it.
Hi! I found that it's way easier to do all this with iron on tape, such as Heat 'n' Bond, a 10m roll cost me the equivalent of $3 at IKEA.
@@quokka_yt hi !! Super happy you've found that method 💓 for me I'm so indecisive so I didn't want to get glue marks on my jacket if I fall out of love with a patch so it was a choice to do it this way!
i've done this maybe 6-7 times. I'm glad to see that i'm not an island onto myself lol. I do recommend however using fishing line to sew any kind of patch on with, holds up in the wash and is alot sturdier!
No man is an island, entire of itself. Every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main.
That background song sounds like a beach episode.
I love that you used green thread 💚 also the stitching is amazing! Thank you for sharing 🍀
That's not bad, but I'll do it another way. Firts of all fix it with some "tear Back" embroidery stabilizer or embroidery adhesive on the back of the old band T-shirt, Then with sewing machine try to sew a good boreder and then sew in on the jacket. Before this fixing to the back with embroidery adhesive spray!!!!
This video has one of the weirdest comment sections ever wtf
someone gotta let these mfs know the world doest revolve around them
Didn't know Oompa Loompas were real.
Don't call us mean word case your your say in this and have u seen your self
Being weird is one of the coolest things in life!
ellen is complimenting us by calling us weird 😭
@@morningboy_ fun fact, I originally wrote "hey there fellow weirdos" in the script but it didn't flow as well!
Hey! I wonder if you have a tips for Iron on patch to look vintage/distress/old school looking?? Thank you 🙏🤗♥️
Gross patch between shoulders
After sewing the edges in, I totally though you were going to use a fusion-type interface fabric to simply iron it onto the jacket. You could still have added the green outline stitching afterward if you like the look of it.
I didn't want to permanently fuse it and get glue on the jacket - all of my patches are hand sewn as I don't know who I will agree with in a few years!
I have followed you for a while on Instagram and now here! I love your content! Also love your accent. (I live in the US, and I’m a bit of an Anglophile)
I loved this video. I enjoyed seeing the car boot sale. The blue cutout top was awesome and the dance shirt that fit you perfectly was very exciting! We have similar things in the US. Where I live they are called flea markets or garage sales if they are in a person’s driveway. I collect vintage toys but usually don’t wake up early enough to find the best items.
Thoroughly enjoyed this! 💚💚
Ahhhhh I am so glad!!! Thank you soooo much for your comment 🤩🤩🤩
Love the vid - and Panasonic tz is one of my fave cameras from back in the day!
Thank you 😁 oh that's awesome, I am really liking it so far for taking videos! Still trying to learn how to take nice pictures though haha
Love this!!!! ❤
Thank you so much !!!! I'm having so much fun making these !
I'm so happy carboot season is back! Love nothing more than waking up silly early on a weekend to go mooch through other peoples junk! Fab finds! x
Oh absolutely!!! It really makes you feel like you're part of the world I think too! Thank you sooooo much for watching and your comment, it means so much to me 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you 💖
I’m still sick of black clothes, but this made me hopeful i could swim in the dark materials again. Thanks for the vid!
It's honestly such a freeing feeling knowing you can be cool in black clothes haha! Thank you so much for the comment !
That was very helpful, thanks a bunch. Cheers from Brazil
You're welcome !!
LOVE your hair, it's fabulous
Thank you!
Ellen this is fantastic :) I too am going through a fashion crisis and thinking about starting up a youtube haha. I thnk the black looks really lovely on you and I think it hels to make other colours really pop. the black with the green is fantastic.
Hi!!! Thank you so much 😁 oooh you should absolutely start a UA-cam! It's so fun and a cool way to be creative. And omg I know, I can't believe I never realised until I put the bag on that black can still be colourful!!!
loved this!!! can't wait to see more
I hope to make more 😁😁😁 thank you!!
I’ve followed you. You are an icon - more please!
Thank you so much !!!
💚
🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for the video. I had wondered how the large patches were made :D
Gorgeous ❤
I cut clothing and have thread
I know this material
I just found you and I absolutely love you and your honesty ❤ You muddled your way through brilliantly. I'm rubbish at sewing and stuff but you have give a small amount of hope that maybe I could do it lol 😍
This comment is so lovely, thank you!!
Iam lazy to I'll subscribe
Thank you for the tutorial. I've been thinking about putting a t shirt patch on the band jacket I'm making. :)
How has it held up since then? I want a Dio patch for my jacket but I can't find the specific size that I need. So just putting a t-shirt on there would work but I'm worried about how it would hold up and look
Hey, I know this is super late but it's still holding up well! I don't really wear it that often but it is still sturdy and looks good. I never machine washed it because of all the other patches but I feel like on a gentle cycle buttoned up inside out would wash well. I definitely think the folding over of the edges and double sewing helps with the reinforcement!!!
just made myself a large back patch after putting it off for months and this helped me double check my work!
I know this is an old video, but how well does the shirt stay on the jacket? That's my fear is that it will start peeling off or start stretching and become messed up
I never had any trouble! Because I sewed the shirt separately like with the green stitching that made it into a solid patch and then it attached. I never put it through the washing machine but I imagine if you did you'd need to put the jacket in a pillow case or something to protect the stitching!
@@ellenrosemarieharvey I see thanks for the input
My daughter recommended embroidery fabric
@@bezoticallyyours83 Funny enough I went through with it, and the shirt has been on my jacket for months now, looks amazing
@@clutch44444 Right on!
Thanks for the help. I do things slightly different, but I definitely loved your technique.
Your video has helped me massively I used your sewing method and it worked a treat on my A7X back patch on my battle jacket 🙏
This is so helpful and specific bc I lack a sewing machine. Also appreciate the honesty lol
something ironic about wearing a prada shirt with a battle jacket
It's not a real Prada shirt, it's a bootleg with the spice girls on it ...
I was planning on making a Smiths patch, didn’t think I’d find a video this specific!
The Smiths lol poser
No kidding, this is a fantastic idea! I have a vintage blue Quicksilver T-shirt that's BEYOND F'ed, however, I've kept it in a box for that last 4 years wondering how I'm going to fix it... Because I love that memory. Well, I'm gonna be buying a denim jacket for it now I think. Thanks!
Ayeee sickkk
thank you so much
