I read Home Before Dark. I liked it but didn't love it. Riley Sager's endings just tend not to work for me but I generally overall like the journey.

I loved Scythe but hated the 2nd book (Think it's called Thunderhead). I also read Red Rising. It was just okay for me and I never did continue on with it.

If your open to it, I would highly recommend my favourite series called Nevermoor (first book by the same name) by Jessica Townsend which has won many of my local literature awards and prizes. Fully disclosure, this series is classified as a middle grade fantasy, but it personally doesn't bother me at all as the world is so immersive and the characters are so fleshed out. But if this is something that bothers you, please don't feel pressured at all to read it. I just love any opportunity I can to shout out my local Aussie authors, as they are so often forgotten and many amazing opportunities to expand their global audience aren't available to them because of our isolation from the rest of the world. Can you tell I'm passionate about it? 😅 Thank you for reminding that it's okay to not meet the ridiculous quantity of books read per year that is now normalise on social media.

your hair is gorgeous! I would recommend not parting your hair at the very start to help with the volume, flipping your hair this way and that while it dries and waiting until your hair is completely dry before you scrunch out the cast (otherwise I've found it just stays kinda mucky and crunchy). Aww love this! It showed up on my feed and super coincidence because I went natural instead of blowing out and straightening my hair! I diffused my hair and only hovered diffused and so it’s super crunchy (I haven’t scrunched out the crunch) but it’s not frizzy at all and I’m loving it! 3 years ago I had a whole routine and my curly hair was so healthy but I started straightening it again and killed it. I forgot the routine but liking what I did today!
