My wife worked for this company, she also worked for rtg, El Dorado and Ashley. In commission sales. She said this was the worst of them all. She also said if you bought on credit and was late with a payment, they would come to your home with a truck and repossess.

My response to her problems: “I don’t care. Someone’s going to pay for the scuff on my car. By the way, I’m going to report you to the cops for assault. Cry all your crocodile tears you want.”

When I was in middle school, there was a misunderstanding between a kid and I, and we got into a fight, then I bragged about winning, so he came to my house with his squad lol at that point I wanted to talk and deescalate the situation, to which he said: "Now you want to talk and clear out misunderstandings". Lesson of the story is don't wait until you're in a pickle to then talk things out, if you were brave to F things up, then be brave enough to face consequences too.

you should do the assault charge anyways because she is obviously lying about her situation as she changed her story multiple times from the beginning by saying it wasn’t even her car. she might even just get community service or a fee since it’s battery i think. But the point is I think it’ll at least teach her or her kids about honesty and being careful if you proceed with charges. insurance can be hell so good luck!!!
