This episode should've ended with Jon waking up in a cold sweat and realizing it was all just a dream and the Night King is still marching on Winterfell, they could've even explained away how dark the episode was "well you see since being resurrected, there's a lot of darkness in Jon which manifests in his dreams basically turning the brightness down to a barely barable level" in truth we know it was dark because they didn't want anyone to see how bad it actually was

I can’t believe they completely blew past the opportunity to have Jon leap from one of the towers and slaying Viscerion, mirroring Arya and the Night King. What a waste.
