Best way to remove a mirror wait until the customer is gone and then, "bang", pop it!
Wish you were in Canada! Vancouver BC needs workers like you.
Same as Vancouver, BC. Watch your construction videos but can’t make comments on the projects. Any solutions? Especially liked the powder room put into a closet. I just got an estimate for the same job here :$18,000. Canada !
I’m not a contractor but was inspired by this video! I love your sense of humor 😅 I would love to know how much the conversion costs.
way too much camera movement
Oh yea that ridge beam had to be heavy. kudos for setting that with no lifts! 💪🏻
Beautiful place
WHich area? how much cost for u?
I'm buying a used tiny home and I wud love a bay window so my question yet I don't believe you will answer becuz u didnt answer the one below this comment but I'll give it a shot. How much would it be to add a bay window and where can I go to get one added professionally.
I am building one when the windows show up. Pella 250. Operating ones on each side with fixed picture window in front. I expect the cost of windows and materials to be around $2500+. Will be doing install myself. You may be able to get one installed for $5000 plus or minus with choice of windows. Just get at least 3 bids.
how much did you charge for this? and what state is this? thanks
It came out nice. Wondering if you wouldn’t have enlarged the space could you have used the roof or would it still need to be redone?
I live California and my son is going into the construction trades. Any advice? 😂 I would love to do this at my house. Good income, maybe?
thank you!!
I hate the look of half wall stairs been trying to figure out how do I do away and move mine
What city is this? Do they allow the staircase outside? I am in Northridge and the city requires the staircase needs to be enclosed.
Thanks for this post! Grateful for UA-cam!
New follower here. I like this. Im in my 30s and new in construction with almost 4 years in and your videos really give me confidence. I love this industry so far - I came in after my father pushed me to learn so I can take over his trade before he retires. My only regret is not listening to him before and starting in my 20s. I really appreciate what you do here. Thank you for posting.
Thanks for video. You are 100% correct, " if you bail, you fail"
you sound like saul goodman😂😂😂
Happy holidays hope all is well !
Good Job 👍🏻
So I have a staircase just like that and a room right next to the staircase I wanted to put a wall all the way up. But how do I add the wall? Do I take take staircase top molding off or do I build my wall on top of the flat surface you adding? Or do I start from scratch from bottom all the way to the ceiling? That top molding of the stair case is flat and I'm curious if it should be taken off?
Exactly right. Order cannot come out of chaos. And great work and great video documentation, I really enjoyed watching your journey
Hi, I want to get an estimate but I don't know how to contact you. Is there an e-mail I can e-mail you at?
literally gonna be doing this with my uncle in-law in the next couple days and this is the best description I've found so far of what, why and kinda how you go about doing it
I see a very expensive shower valve…..looks like one of them hansghroe thingy’s
California codes are a joke……insulate the water lines at the service valve because it freezes up here in the s.f. Bay Area……
I like your style…..helpers just get in the way and slow ya down………thank you for the video 15 yrs ago before I did commercial plumbing I did residential and I worked for a contractor that did this kinda work all the time, he hired me as his plumber and when I would knock out all my plumbing tasks he would have me help out his carpenters with anything and everything……..I learned a lot working with him and watching this video just brought me back to those days….thank you
Are they gonna have you paint that black iron pipe coming off the gas meter, here in northern ca. they would have made me put galvanized or see it painted before inspection
Great job!!! How should I go about finding good quality subcontractors?
I’ve thought about ADU for my garage but I just don’t have time, energy and money. If you are on so cal holler at me 😁
A lot to learn from your beginning to end video.
Wow. You're an artist. Really like your casual, yet informative, way of taking us through the ADU build. Thanks!
All those wood touches are just instantly dating this space.
Once again excellent result!
You tell it like it is Bro!
Enjoy the commentary
Thanks for the awesome content!
Great channel. Your work is excellent, you can do it all. You probably even know what all those numbers mean on a framing square,
Thanks for the content. Hoping to get this done in my rental w/detached garage (Reno/Sparks NV). Roughly 400sq ft. Appreciate the vid. 100k or less is my goal
Very Well Done! thanks for sharing
what Does something like this cost? i am thinking of adding a second story to my home since i cannot add a second story adu to my garage where i live. Code says if my home is 2 stories i can then make my garage a 2 story adu. so maybe just making my home 2 stories is better and ill leave the garage alone.
Can u build me one?😁
How long did it take to complete this job?
Why did you tape & seam the sheet rock on ceiling?
why you demolish grage roof you could just build the room next to it and connect them somehow together acceptable to the inspector
for that sweet open interior, makes the space feel a whole lot larger, I'd imagine.
Do you FREE estimates? Here in Ontario CA
how much was the ADU for owner start to finish? can you break it down into permitting/plans/paper/taxes + materials + labor ? Starting sq ft of garage and ending sq ft of finished project?
In the comments the said it cost $100k
You are an inspiration! Excellent work!
Are the codes from normal building codes?
Man… I envy you! You don’t look like you hate your job and every day looks like you enjoy what you do!
