Take your time Seonaid...take your time...think about yourself for a moment!
Thanks for your honesty in this vlog. It cannot have been easy to make and it was a little difficult to watch too. You are still a champion to me - an Olympian and a credit to our country. Very much hope you find the balance to continue shooting as such a high level. All the best :)
A lot of the people you were competitive with at the top of world cups, ended up with a similar performance as you in Paris as well. Olympics is a funny beast.
Proud of you and Mike! You are wise to take time to digest and process. Every competitor, athlete deserves massive respect for dedication and sacrifices.
Thank you for this honest vlog! You did a great job in Paris. You worked so hard, I watched every shot. Against all odds you gave your best in that moment. The rest was not in your hands! We can only control a small part... As a psychotherapist and shooter, I see what you put in and I am sorry for what you are going through. As you say, your feelings are your feelings. Give yourself all the days it takes... Being an athlete has a very high price and for me all athletes are heroes. Not only the winning ones!!!!
Thank you first for being so honest. I can reconize a lot of things you say. And I am sure that a most of us feel this way (mostly because there are a much more athletes not wining than the ones wining a olimpic medal). It must be very hard for you. This moments are really paintfull. But time maybe will solve it for you. So good luck to you, stay healthy and send us your thoughts if you want to.
You will always have my support because you're shooting for GB, and you've inspired me to start shooting air rifle, igniting what is now a very meaningful interest in my life so thank you for that. Please keep showing us your training (and maybe even some educational shooting videos?) I would love that as I have already picked up things from watching you shoot. However overall just do what you want to do and what makes you happy. Please take care and best of luck from one of your newer fans, Andrew :)
Incredible to hear from the mind of a champion who also feels vulnerable ((like us at the bottom of the food chain). Every time I had a downturn in my scores and I looked back, it felt that I was chasing scores and I stopped enjoying shooting. For me, it is very hard to perform well if I'm not enjoying it. I hope we see more of you in the future, chin up.
Thanks for sharing btw.
You have everything to be proud of .Your best is yet to come please Don,t walk away you will regret in the future. Lots of love paul
Thanks so much for sharing with us Seonaid. Must have been difficult to do. I’ve loved getting to see your journey. Best of luck in whatever you decide. Lots of love from Scotland ❤
I'm wanna buy my own air rifle for competition, but I don't know which rifle is the best bang for buck. I'm in my junior year of hs and have only been doing the sport for 1 year. I wanna buy the Feinwerkbau 800X like the one used by Huang Yuting and other shooters in Paris Olympics, but it's really expensive and I wanna know if it's worth it to buy, or a similar air rifle will have the same performance at a lower price. Love your videos and I hope to be like you one day :D
Hi, I am a professional Digital Marketer and SEO specialist. I saw that your video thumbnail and content is so good. But your views & subscribers are low. Because your video seo score is too low. There are lots of workspaces. Such as 1.Title and description are not seo friendly 2. No hashtag research 3. tags are too short 4. No high ranked targeted keywords If you solve the problem I think you can see lots of organic traffic and get more views and subscribers in your channel. If you see the attached picture I think you can understand better. Do you want to grow your youtube channel? If you want I can help you.
Great my favorite evant
How much would you rate the importance of holding out of 100
You did great, tuff competition with those scores.
I watched the Paris 10m Air Rifle mixed-team, and saw China team with those massive padded shooting gloves. They appear to offer a massive advantage to reducing the impact of one's heartbeat. Does it really?
Crush
What have you got on your eyeballs?! It’s gorgeous 🥰
And you didn’t answer my question about the palette!!!
If ur talking abt air rifle I think it's a blinder for one eye so you can shoot with both eyes open, but if it's air pistol they could have a magnifying optic on there shooter eye to make a certain distance more clear to see
@@ventischair9158 no, I meant the eyeshadow she was wearing in the intro 😂
Best of luck 🤞
All the best
Great to see what you’ve been up to and well done on another WC win. Was interesting to see the rifle adjustments at changeover under time pressure. I didn’t realise turnaround was so tight. Best of luck in Paris ❤
You cheated on me with another makeup artist!!! 😱
Little sisters are just the worst, aren't they??
Wish you all 😂luck in the world for this special event. Lots of love paul
Nice catch up on all you've been doing Seonaid, some amount of medals hanging from your rifle. Hope your journey by train wasn't too bad after flight cancelled, and good news from dad on BA getting rifles to you in France. Good luck to you and Team GB for the Paris Olympic competitions, fingers crossed for medal wins.
As always, I'm rooting for you from across the Atlantic pond. Best of luck!
Best wishes for the Olympics.. we all wish to see you do your best. You have worked so hard to reach where you are . Your ever loving strong Dad and coach is watching your back.. Keep going strong. Wishes and prayers for your events.. ❤🎉 😊 Dr Antony National medalist in rifle and pistol. Kerala, India 🇮🇳
Is this 300m rifle 3 position?
It surely looks like it is
I am a beginner rifle shooter with a burning question. Is it a major limiting disadvantage in not being able to rest the elbow on the hip? Are most athletes able to rest the elbow on the hip?
Congratulations
Awesome job!
Congratulations miss. My idol.
You'd think they could find a better wat to attach your number - must be annoying with it flapping around. Your focus is likely 1000 times better than mine :D
I watched this live, man it was tense😅
"just about to break into a smile, you can tell!!" 🤣🤣
Change of kit on the end of the Pardini there Seonaid? Looks like the standard kit not the MEC tube? 🤔
You never use your shooting diary?? Can I tell my team Captain that you said that?? She would SWEAR at me if I ever shot without filling in a full shooting diary😱😱
Thanks for the shout out 😉😘
I am form india 🇮🇳 nice video 😊😊
Hy i am form india 😊😊
Another great insight it your life. Hope the treatments all go well. Must be tough mentally to manage but you seem to have a great support from your family/team. When you took your shoes off was that to feel balance better?
We Australians have this issue every time the national championships are held in Perth. There are always several people rejected at the airport and sent home because some permit is on the wrong letterhead or some such. Meanwhile gun traffickers sell AK-47s wherever they please, anywhere in the world 🤦🏼♂️
Hope your hip is fine for Baku Seonaid, and of course got to have the blue hair sorted. Good luck for the comp and see Lucy was shooting beside you, she doing great in Berlin recently winning , hopefully same for you🤞
Good to see you back into doing your vlogs Seonaid and taking us through all your health ups and downs, hopefully more ups than downs. Looking forward to watching how you get on in Paris, and other comps before then. Wishing you well and lots of luck, and hope your dad and family do manage to get the tickets he's been trying to get for the Paris Olympics🤞
loving these vlogs👍👍
Glad you like them! More to come :)
Great to see you back. Hopefully the rifles situation improves as the last thing you want is doubts about your equipment. Looking forward to following the journey to Paris.
@@minimac400 The section around 9.20 reassures me that I'm not the only one feeling this way. Same with leaving important things behind when going to the range. I left the bolt behind once..🤦♂
Hi is the Pardini model the GPR1 Top Air Rifle? Does it have an electronic trigger? It also seems that you said you have a custom barrel and not using the original from Pardini? Or am I mistaken? Thanks and you are doing great. Lots of luck in Paris
Yes its the GPR1 Top model. No Pardini don't have electronic triggers but I love my Pardini the way it is 😍 I am using a Pardini barrel selected straight from the factory, its just replacing an old one that has worn out.
On the air rifle it seems you have what I assume is a lens in front of the aperture to correct your vision but I don’t see that on the 50m 3-P rifle. I would think you have to correct you vision regardless, no?? It would be great if you did a video that describes your air rifle setup in detail. Thank you for a wonderful video.
I also have the lenses on the 3P rifle and yes you're right I would have to correct my vision regardless :) I'm lucky that I have near perfect vision, the lenses just help me with eye fatigue.
Your expression is so funny at 3:34…it’s almost like your are saying…what did I just do 😂
On one of your older videos you were loading with the left hand… I take it you prefer right hand now or is it due to the current rifle you are using? BTW what is you current rifle you use (make and model)?
Sometimes I load with my left hand if it's the first shot and before I have picked up the rifle but I usually leave the rifle in my left hand when I put it down on the stand so I have to load with the right hand.
Miss, honest answer please, mechanical or e-trigger in 10 m air rifle?
I use a mechanical trigger :)
4:40 - lots of wind in South Africa. Hang on, don’t you live in Scotland? It’s not usually regarded for it’s clement weather over winter 😂
😂 Yes Scotland is a very cold and windy country! Unfortunately its too cold for me to shoot outdoors for most of the year and I don't have an accessible outdoor range that's suitable for training within 200 miles. In South Africa I can focus on wind training without freezing my butt off at the same time :D
