When the landing leg is on the ground you need to use low gear until the weight of the trailer is on the tractor once the leg is off the ground use high gear to raise leg faster or you'll cause damage to gears that's why you have 2 gears one for weight.

Honestly, not many new drivers last more than a year at Prime. The reason os the same with everyone. Not home enough, need to spend more time with my family etc! I get it! I worked there for two years before becoming an owner/operator. Good luck I enjoyed your videos.
