This is not worth it unless done on the large scale. small things like this is merely a hobby because the cost for all the materials needed to reprocess this combined with the labor+time factor is a largely diminished return. but at a certain capacity the results will outweigh the costs because more can be done at once.

There was a lot of materials and chemicals used in this process, and the gas torch etc. How much did all of that cost? How much was 1g of gold worth? In other words, was there actually any profit here? Taking into account your profit against the amount of hours put in, would your hourly rate be higher than say, a cleaner?

I know delending on chemicals/materials needed to isolate and ultimately refine to 24kt costs obviously and the size of your salvage and the amount this process is repeated through varying periods of refining stacking your chips adds up but i could of sworn i seen orhers say there isnt a considerable profit margin. Is this true, or elsebis this the USA's newest goldrush so to speak? To me it seems i should start collecting circuit boards and do the same.
