We are a small farm located in Northeast Alabama and we are putting our progress out for everyone to see. We currently only have chickens but have had cattle on the farm as well. We are in the process of building a house on the farm to move in to manage the farm tasks better each day. Follow along with us as we build and learn on the farm. We have all the links to our social media pages in the Linktree site listed here, we also are posting all of the items we use in our Amazon Storefront that is also listed on Linktree.

Repairs on the Kverneland TA-226 Disc Mower
Переглядів 932 місяці тому
This video shows some issue we had with the Kverneland disc mower. We really like the mower, it is a bit aged but it still cuts great. We just finished cutting a field that was very thick and over 6 foot tall in most places and it cut like a champ. We have to do a few repairs now and again due to the age of the machine. Hope you enjoy the video, and if Kverneland wants to send me a new mower, w...

International Harvester 574 Fuel Injection Pump Repair - Part 1
Переглядів 1,6 тис.3 місяці тому
This is the first part to a rebuild of our International Harvest 574 Diesel Fuel Pump Injector. The engine is a D239 Diesel and the pump is a Bosch pump if I am correct. We have never rebuilt one of these pumps but a replacement was any where from $1600 to $3400 so we figured we would attempt to repair this one. We found some information about the repair from UA-cam so we wanted to show our suc...
Wooden Cattle Fence and Cattle Pen
Переглядів 1017 місяців тому
This video is another project on the farm. We needed to repair the front fence and we wanted to put a wooden fence up so this was our chance to do both. We needed to create another cattle pen to move the cows to the front for more grass and to keep an eye on them. We used our fence post driver, hydraulic and motorized, for the wood posts and the t-posts. Please like and subscribe, thanks for wa...
Perimeter Fence Inspection and Walk
Переглядів 328 місяців тому
This video shows the perimeter fence of the farm. We routinely inspect the fence line to ensure it is still up and doesn't need any repairs. We haven't done a walk around in a while so this is the best time to check it out. This also gives an idea of what our fence line looks like and how the land is laid out. Enjoy the video and follow us along, thanks! Please check out our Linktree below. It ...
International 574 Part 2
Переглядів 3,2 тис.9 місяців тому
This is the second part of our rebuild on a 1973 Case International Harvester 574 tractor. in this video we are removing the valve cover and head to see the pistons. We suspect that we have diesel fuel in the oil and that has been our issue, possibly a blown head gasket? We will attempt to find out in this part 2 of the rebuild series. Back Story - I purchased this tractor several years back an...

Predator 9500 Starter Repair, Oil Change, and Maintenance
Hey! I’m dealing with a leaking injector pump on my IH 574. Thanks for posting the videos. My leak is coming from the throttle and choke/cutoff shafts, I believe. A little Hard to tell from your video, but …is there a seal/o-ring on those shafts? Do you think those seals can be replaced without actually removing the entire pump?
How did you get your fuel tank setup? Is it still gravity fed or do you have a fuel pump?
“Out of parts.” 😂😂😂 nice goin. Mine hasn’t got spark. I chased down e’thing on the fuel side, now gotta find out where I’m losing spark… with a Hurry-cane coming in hot.
Just did that on mine last week.
It was not a fun project for sure. Haha
Thanks for taking the extra time to share can you share where to get parts? I just bought a IH 2500 b series hydrostatic drive backhoe with loader. Paid 3k seemed to run good doesn't backup goes forward loader/hoe both work. Hoe doesn't seem to have full power but it was digging. All the wiring is shorted out except the key to the starter circuit. The hi low netural shift shaft is broken off in the case I'm assuming it's in low going only 5 or 6 mph. Hoping you or anybody else can point me to parts. I fixed a few obvious things fuel filter laying on it's side hanging from the fuel lines and 2nd starter solenoid to bypass all the trashed original wiring bouncing around shorting out on everything. Decided to try it out a bit after it felt safe and I was pretty happy so tomorrow I will see if I can dig my ditch. So I go out this morning and it will no longer start. No fuel at injectors but plenty of fuel going into the pump. Any one with any help would be greatly appreciated. I would love help with manuals as well. I found a tag with 73 in it so I'm going to assume it's a 1973 2514b. It looks like the same pump I have Again thank you
Hey, yea unfortunately we weren’t able to find any parts reliably for ours either. The best shot we had was eBay for a good bit of them. This was one big reason we are sending ours to Area Diesel. I hear they have parts they will sell also so that might be a good source to find what you need.
@@greenecreekfarms thanks for the reply, hopefully you have a positive follow up video soon with Area Diesel being good to you.
Hello "Greene Creek Farms" I saw that in your channel have some problems. For these problems your channel is not much growing. Not getting much engagement. If you can solve these problems, Your channel will get more engagement. If you can give me permission I can tell to you about these problems. Can I tell here or email? Okay?
No thank you
Sorry to hear about the loss of your relative, condolences to the families.
Thank you very much for the kind words.
If it is Diesel fuel in the oil it is usually a leaking seal on the front of the injection pump drive shaft. Easily replaced but the pump has to come off.
Yea it ended up being a blown head gasket so we went through head and had it worked by a local machine shop.
You require the IH Section 3000 FUEL SYSTEM AND TURBOCHARGERS for D-155, D-179, D-206, D-239, D-246, D-268, D-310, D-358, DT-239, DT-358, DT402 Engines that can be downloaded for free from www.redpowermagazine.com/forums/topic/121219-d239-674-engine-manual-pdf/
You can drill the broken pin out of the throttle control shaft and replace it with an equal sized needle bearing roller.
Yes Sir, we ordered a bag of pins and replaced the broken one with plenty of extras. Lol
You are correct on the Stop/Start/Run shaft, in the position of the lever just beyond the end of the shut off plunger is the Start position that acts like a choke and gives extra fuel to start the tractor in cold weather.
Thank you for the input, we weren’t quite sure about it.
That's the same one on my 674
Yea we have found out they used this pump on a few different models. We are hopeful to get this one back up and running.
4 washers go on outside of the rollers. pin and clip hold the advance rod in, and the thrust washers under the spring, sit the plunger upright with the spacer under it on the wave plate put spring and washers on then lower the head on to it
Thank you for the info! This has been challenging to say the least. Lol
pulled it apart in the wrong order
Yes Sir we did. We have been in touch with a rebuilding company and they have helped us out with the order.
@karlnicol3446 I have this same pump on my 2514 b I just purchased it and now can't get it started. It ran great started fine it's a hydrostatic drive and reverse doesn't move but a few feet when started cold then nothing further. I loosened the lines to the injectors no fuel coming out while cranking it. I cracked the input fuel line and fuel was flowing fine shouldn't I get fuel out the injector line when it's cranking over ? This pump is above pay grade for sure but I can't afford a real mechanic so I'm really looking for all/any help I can find. Can you explain the proper order or anything else that may be helpful ? TIA
That Victron unit was designed to be placed in a vertical orientation. You need to shear off a few inches of the cover at the top to allow for more airflow in that orientation.
Hey, yes Sir we found out about the orientation issue we spoke with an installer afterwards and he showed us another way to arrange things. We have since changed our system in the underpinning completely to provide ample room for air flow. Thanks!
Splicing AC lines like that is dangerous. You should have used lugs. If you put a thermal camera on that connection, you will see that it going to generate a fair amount of heat. That is lost voltage. Please spend the $20 and put lugs on that splice.
Yes Sir, we have done many revisions since the installation of this system and have upgraded the wiring and orientation as well.
Thank you for this. I have the same tractor and this is so helpful. As you stated there is no video I could find on this pump either. Best of luck on the reassembly. Looking forward to seeing it. Curious to what was causing the cooling leak with the engine? I looked for a follow up on it and didn’t see it? May have looked in the wrong place.
Hey, thank you! We actually had a blown head gasket but the camera we were using as card was corrupted so we lost a good bit of footage. Still trying to work on getting it back for a follow up video, hopefully we can. lol
Hi, please post the follow up video.
Sure thing, we are trying to get it edited hopefully by this week.
@@greenecreekfarms you have the next video
would have liked to see the floor being cut out. Thanks for the video.
Thanks, sorry we tried to video it but the space was so small it was difficult to video it in the crawl space.
What did you do with the red and black cable that went to the old inverter and also the brown wire
The red and black cable we pulled out and ran new as this cable wasn’t big enough to handle the amperage we were putting out. As for the brown wire I apologize it I don’t remember lol, I’ll look back at my footage and try to jog my memory on what we did there.
We used to have a baler like that. Subscribed looking forward to following along on your journey.
Hey, thank you, it’s old as all get out but man does it bale the hay!
It’s insane that Grand Designs installed that DC breaker for the factory inverter where they did. They put zero thought into that.
I completely agree, with us revamping the system it was nice to put things back where they make sense to us.
Ive been running kioti tractors and utv for 10 years now. Great equipment. I do commercial mowing with mine, so my rx7320 pulls a batwing 95% of the time and my NX5510 pulled a 6/7 foot cutter and a 15' finish mower, my mechron 2240 utv hauls a 55 gallon sprayer daily for Rite of way maintenance. Really happy with kioti
I completely agree, we love ours and taking hay with the utv 2400, we can’t really complain at all!!
Time to go to work😂
Yes Sir
1 or 2 of your liners are leaking, the O rings went bad or they rotted through
Yes Sir. We found that about 2 were leaking when we disassembled. We sent the head to a local machine shop and they re-worked it and it looks great now. Hopefully reassembly will go smooth also. Lol
hello Greene creek, i still need a little help with my lift. i made a short video of my problem. can you please watch it and when you can record a video of yours that will help. i found service manual and repair manual but still have trouble.here is my video , ua-cam.com/video/6HMhFD4u9tQ/v-deo.html THANK YOU
Does this bike have a reset button? Because my oraimo will not power on.
Not that we have seen. We turn the key on ours and it powers up for us.
Boo lift in Australia
We really use it a lot!
My Oraimo sciiti won't power on.
Ours has a key that you have to turn and then it powers on.
Check your injection pump if you have diesel in your oil. Had the o-ring give up the injector drive on a MF and it caused the engine to run away. Got it shut down before it blew.
We will sure do it, thank you for the heads up!
Be interesting what is actually causing that stuff.
We are ready to find out for sure!
No one else shows all the 12v wiring and the details of the install they just show everything hooked up magically, thanks for showing the under belly, the fuse boxes. Was looking for exactly this in a video!
Glad it helped
I'm having the same symptoms. Battery voltage is good, and I can hear the solenoid engaging, but I didn't check voltage on the starter. I'm gunna do that next chance i get and see if my issue is also the ground. Thank you so much for posting this video!
Sure thing, glad it helped!
Hello i have a 73 574 also im currently restoring cant wait to see more on this series
Thank you very much. We’re excited to see as well!
Hello! I will create captivating thumbnails for You, eventually realize Your idea to let the channel grow. If this takes your interest, please respond beneath this comment. :)
Next time use some vinegar on that nut to clean off the rust!
Thanks for the tip, I’ll sure try it!
could you please post a video of the battery compartments , i don’t know what side is positive/ negative for my repair. also the door above the charger. and looks like they stole my emergency battery disconnect and cut the wires off. any help would be greatly appreciated. i’ve been trying for weeks now to figure this out. THANK YOU
Hey. sorry about the delay in responding. I couldn't get to the farm to take a picture of the battery compartments but i did find my manual and wiring diagram. You will have to make sure your model number matches up but here is the link to my google drive, the folder skyjack has both the manual and wiring diagram in it. Hope this helps. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1eNYlsi5Zim8ejbW5fRn80x50Z19QHx-6?usp=share_link
I was looking at NS 4710 with 12x12 shuttle shift transmission, we have 8 ft disc mower and we have john deere 430 4x5 baler. What you think?
Well the 47hp will do all of it but I will tell you ours has air and it struggles a bit cutting high grass. I run a 6 foot disc mower and it runs it well. If I am cutting thick stuff like this past summer we cut some fields that were overgrown, about 6 foot tall grass. It was getting a little hot but it never did bog down. I run a Vermeer 540c, it’s 4x5 baler also and it runs smooth as glass so I don’t believe you will have an issue at all with the baler. If you are gonna cut some high grass often I would go with a 50hp or more. If you are going to just cut 2 or 3 foot grass I think you will be pleased with the 4710 in my opinion.
What size and type hay mower you running? How does tractor handle cutter?
I am running a 6 foot disc mower, it is a Kverneland, I’m not sure which model it is it’s pretty old. That Kioti is a 47 hp and it cuts pretty well, I got in some 6 foot grass and I had to slow down to make sure it cut low enough but it does great so far.
do you have any manual? someone stole my batterys and cut a few wires, can’t find them online
I don’t believe I do, I will look and see if I have one. We ended up tracing down all of our issues but we didn’t have any cut wires so it was easier for us to do that. I’ll look and see if I have a wiring diagram or manual.
Is there a continuing video for this one ?
Yes, sorry for the delay on it. We had some adjustments we recently did and wanted to include them in the second part. It will be up tomorrow night at 5pm.
Good day from Ontario. I have 574 too. The tires look like 36-38 in Yes that oil does not look right. Many yrs ago I bought Allios B cheap, changed oil & water came out 1st very small amt. Good luck , want to see more. Thanks
Hopefully that is all of the water we will see with this one. Haha. Thanks for the comment, and good day to you from Alabama!

Great video and project!
Thank you!
Not hay, grass.
Ok, cutting grass for hay then.
Kioti DK4710se is a complete piece of GARBAGE. Don’t even get me started. But the Kioti DK4711sf, now that’s a sweet ride. SWEET AF. That’ll lay pipe like your sister.
Seems to work well for me, must have got a good one I guess.
Looks like some happy chickens
Thanks
I bet those cows are happy now!
