The 509 Mini Me Tiny Stove Production Model is Ready to Heat Your Tiny Space
I've seen better
Does the piping absolutely have to vertically exit straight through the roof? Or can I put a bend in it to go out the wall horizontally, and then vertically above the roofline?
It works best when the pipe is straight
neat, just needs to add an airwash for the glass!
Do you sell any alittle bigger?
We're working on a bigger pellet non electric model. Maybe have next year
@@dustyhenderson3126 thanks dusty but I'm really liking the idea of log feeding and split log feeding for those fuels you don't need to buy. I really like mini me 1 but I have 500 sq feet. What I really want is a log feeder add on to my stove so I can have lots of heat if needed with narly large logs and overnight heat with the log feeder and some nice logs. That way I don't need a larger log feeder to heat the larger home.
Will this pellet stove work in in a rv
Yes
What are the required clearances to combustibles? I have an old coal burning fireplace that is really shallow and I am wondering if this will fit in the space
12 inch in back and left end. Mounted on the wall kit. Zero clearance from the shelf to wall
Who wants to be off grid and have to rely on a supply of pellets?
Fail 👎👎
Man i need that with a fan
Both united states veterans, army and navy. To my knowledge they did not abandon the american people.
My father inlaw(also deceiced) a brick layer and free mason.
Emergency weather heat. My father(deceiced) worked for commonwealth edison. I became a teacher and am retiring alive.
Not retailers reclaimers!
Idea... the big flue in front as a tall heat reclaimer. With a (battery operated) twin fan positioned between the flues minus the electric cord on the reclaimer. Like two retailers positioned atop of each other and capped at the top, and the 4" flue for smoke.
you would do better if u charged a price people could afford rather then rip them off trying to get rich!
LOVE IT!! Holy cow.. This is so sweet. Pellets, non-electric (wow), attachable hot water bins, cook top space (!!) AND adjustable temp range. This is a dream!! Has this been EPA certified yet? I sure hope so cuz this was made just for this old gal.
Yep. Just waiting for the certificate
@@dustyhenderson3126 I'll be calling for info on Mon. Thank you!
$1100 is way too high for one of these.
Thanks for the input. We are gravity fed pellet now and steel is less than 3 years ago but manufacturing costs a bit to make happen
Can you still burn compressed logs with the pellet adapter removed, like the pervious model?
Not in this model. It is EPA tested now on pellets only and they will not fit.
Would these be safe for RVs
Yes. We have UL safety tested them at an independent lab.
so its a wood stove basically... one of biggest advantage of pallet stove is horizontal venting. this one will need to be vented just as the wood stove. i guess not having to throwing logs in is a plus. either way nice design
I’m thinking about getting one for my garage. This is Will from oxyfresh by the way. Very cool man.
Hi Will. Great to hear from you. Thanks for the compliment. This is a great little heater.
Overbuilt overpriced
Thanks. Yes over built. This is the video on the log stove. We've since changed to gravity fed pellet. EPA AND UL Approved so price is absolutely right. Thanks for looking.
How long does one hopper with 40# run for?
10 to 16 hours depending on damper placement
@@flameinnovation ok good to know, looking at getting one of these for my Greenhouse for winter in the future.
Is it compatible with corn fuel or combination of corn and wood pellets ?
It is pellets only. Corn has too much moisture to burn this way in our opinion.
Might be the answer to heating my 400 sq. ft. outporch
Awesome
I have a 33 ft camper looking for something like this. How long will it burn for with a full hopper? I work 12 hrs away from camper
@empowerme8029 it will burn 10 to 18 hours depending on damper setting. Sometimes longer depending on elevation and chimney length
Definitely my next purchase, anywhere close to releasing the video of how the hoppers work?
Yes and it is also heading to EPA and UL testing
@@dustyhenderson3126 I noticed in one of the pictures a tube coming out from the bottom. Does this have an exterior air intake? That would be amazing
@@Matthew21Roberts Hi there. Yes it has an a place to hook a 3" flex tube for outside combustion air. We also currently have the stove in testing for UL and EPA emissions for a primary heat source so that it can be put in a ton more installation applications. Check back with us in about a month and we may have heard results by then. Dusty
@@dustyhenderson3126 any possible ETA?
How do i contact you. I have many questions for something I have researched to death and am trying to accomplish
Hi. I went to the website and it says that this model has been replaced by a pellet one. Does that mean you no longer sell it?
You all should add a link to the product in the description of the video
Will do. I thought there was a link. I appreciate your help.
What type of chimney will this call for 5” or 4”? Type A wood stove or type L pellet?
Class A insulated pipe 4"
Would like so more videos close up on how everything works
I love it. side loading. I want to put one in my old house but the room is long and not wide so a sideways stove is great for me.
The Mini Me 8 and 12 have been replaced by the mini me pellet stove
Yes as an addition. People are still ordering the mini me 8 and 12 because they want to be able to burn logs or drop in the pellet adapter and burn pellets. If shtf then you can burn split wood in an emergency. You just don't get a lot of burn time with split wood
How far away from the wall is the side that connects to the wall? I have a cubic mini grizzly stove and I recently added an addition on my house that makes it difficult to keep warm with the grizzly. I’m wondering if I installed yours in place of the grizzly if I would be able to use the existing hole that goes through my roof. The center of the grizzly pipe sits 5 inches from the wall.
We have a zero inch clearance from the wall when using our shelf/ wall bracket kit. The grizzly I don't know clearance numbers. If your pipe is 5 inches away from the wall then that's cutting it close if you are talking about where it runs up and out. Sorry I am not picturing or understanding exactly what you are getting at. Call me to discuss. 509-993-3767
uhhhhh .... you forgot to explain the most unique feature.. How does the self feeder work, and how long will it burn? Will it last through the night? please elaborate 🤷
You load the logs down the feed tube and they burn on the bottom of the bottom log. As it burns it self feeds and the air being blown into the pot keeps the fire going is probably the simplest way to explain. We also have a gravity fed pellet adapter now that goes in the tube like a log and lets you burn pellets without electricity. The burn times are from 6 to 10 hours with 2 or 3 logs and up to 20 hours with pellets and the extra 30 lb. pellet hopper added as an accessory.
Whats the price on these? I'm working on tiny house that will be around 300 sq ft
They are 899 picked up at the factory and 1099 shipped if you can't pick it up
We ended up with a wall-mount pellet stove that uses electricity (about 150-175 watts per hour) after passing on the Wiseway non-electric model due to a LONG wait (supply chain shortages). With a tiny home of 420 square feet, this would've been perfect had it been available back when we built it. Definitely will give it a hard look on our next project!
Thank you so much. Glad to help when you are ready again.
Do you have a link to the wall-mount unit you bought?
The wall mount is for the Caboose tiny wood stove
I was asking IanDenchasy about his wall-mount pellet stove. Don't want a converted wood stove without the auger or fan
You bet. Thanks for looking. We are going to make a shelf for the Mini Me Pellet. The Caboose wood stove will not burn pellets. Thanks for looking and sorry for the confusion
Do the same rules for let’s say a normal pellet stove apply to this with the exhaust pipe like can I just run the exhaust outside to a 45 going down or do I need to go all the way to my roof with this just curious i wanna put this in my garage but don’t want to run a bunch of pipe up the side of my house. It’s a awesome looking little stove btw.
You need to go up because it relies on natural draft. We are playing around with another model that is bigger that will have a motor option if people want to go through the wall and be done or no motor and go up with the pipe. Hoping for next year release on that model
thank you sir, very interested in this little stove.@@dustyhenderson3126
use a fire gel
You sure can if you want.
Gotta get me one of these for this winter.
I've been looking for a compact stove for a while that doesn't take up a ton of room, but can give me a bit of extra "free heat." (I get my wood free.) The glass view is a plus; being UL listed is a definite plus. I haven't used 4" pipe before (I've always been a 6" pipe/chimney guy) but I see you have approved 4" insulated chimney on your site. This might sound crazy, but at 90 pounds, this is a stove that I can set in place in late October through mid March, then store out in the workshop for the rest of the year to save space in the months when I'm not using it. Made in the USA is a plus, too. You're at the top of my list for a potential purchase at the moment.
Thank you. Lots of people do the same in their rvs. Install in fall and out in the spring. True burn times we advertise. Appreciate you having a look at our products. Anything else let us know
Will you be getting ul certification on this stove?
Yes we are going to do UL and EPA
@@flameinnovation I'm thinking about turning a box truck into a tiny home and will definitely be keeping track of this 😊
How long will 30Lbs last at mid damper ?
16 to 24 hours. It also depends on the type of pellets used. Hardwood pellets burn cooler and last longer. softwood burns little hotter. Also elevation and your chimney routing but generally those are good numbers
You know, you are not far from Tiny Wood Stove. They are made in China and I believe are thinner. Your price is not that far off, why do they have such a strong following and you do not? I personally feel you have a better product, made here in the USA. It is also a nice design. Just my thought! Would be interested in two of your stoves in the near future to put some Videos out on install and usage.
Hi there. Thanks for the nice comment. They have several more years of getting people to know about their products. We'll catch up really fast I think. We appreciate it Dusty
How Does the flame/fire not travel up the tube. Is the cap sealed?
Yes it is. Plus air going down. And the adapter is built to withstand the heat by the height of it so pellets are insulated from the heat etc.
Luv my Mini Me‼️
Thanks Mike. Dusty
I really want one but trying to sort out install spot, insurance, if I can run a pipe to basement for intake air, how hot do you need it b4 you can cook something on it, can its exhaust run under a window like a reg pellet stove is allowed...I'll call Mr Dusty/Rep on Monday but if you have any suggestions, I'm open. Thank you Sir
NICE VIDEO. I will be contacting you for our price list to get on board with you. Thanks for sharing this great stove. Peace
Thank you very much!! Talk soon. Dusty
Are any of these stoves used in a wall tent? Would like to see some videos or pictures in a wall tent. I want one for camping
Yes we have people that buy them for wall tents. I don't have any pics of them in a wall tent. If you drive in and set up they'll be ok. But you wouldn't want to pack the Steelhead in on horse etc as it's almost 200 lbs. The Caboose is just under 100
Can charcoal or coal able to be used in this stove?
I really don't know. I've never tested it with those materials.
Is there a link on where to buy
I think if you click on our name there it should take you to the website. If not it is Flameinnovation.com. We also have a pellet adapter for this model now so you can fill the tube and burn pellets.
