I always get confused here. Some say to keep both arms straight which, if we rotate our hips and upper body across the wake, is not physically possible. Draw it to prove it. If I keep both arms straight, I need to counter rotate to maintain two straight arms. And then someone says maintain back arm pressure through the wakes and past the white wash and ride the line. This does not work with two straight arms. It is physically impossible. I ski much better when I just focus across course with strong back arm pressure and hold it right through the edge change. Thanks Rob for the clarity.

This is where making these videos are tricky. It's about understanding the problem as a whole and finding a key that works for you. For someone who doesn't struggle with bent arms it's probably not something you need to worry about. But for some it may be the most important thing

The level and consistency of the skiing of these elite pro skiers is staggering. Off the dock 10.75 passes in the runoffs... brutal... These guys are skiing at line lengths that most of us never even dream of getting to and line lengths that most people's ropes do not even shorten to... Thanks Rob for sharing this quickie recap!

Hi, great insight..background skiing for 8 years, run 32s full line but not consistent good technique =.. I struggle to stand tall or get my shoulders back , often end up breaking or slight fold making hard work of it. its so easy as we all know either whilst on the boat, land or waiting for the start to know what we have to do ! best wishes Mark

My boat put offs a big wake by big I mean short high or deep waves not nice rolling ones ... I'm having a problem getting outside the wake from in between the to. They look big and i have a problem committing with confidence, especially when I'm my ski is facing the same way as the wake is rolling. Any tips or just use the same fundamental?
