Bought one and having errors loading film. Any1 helping ?
Hi! That’s a really nice video :) May I ask how did you made your website?
4:58 I cary Long Drink as well. Blue original (: it doesn’t make for good developer though
I just got my C220 a couple weeks ago off eBay....I got the 65mm lens with mine, and the camera and lens were in MINT condition, much better in person than on the eBay ad....so, yay for me. I'm looking to get a 80mm blue dot and then likely the 180mm lenses and that should round me out for awhile I think. I had a Yashica Mat 124G...I got for a steal in mint condition for $85 at a garage sale....but one day found it somehow slipped out of the neck strap and hit the ground hard enough to knock the whole focal plane out of whack. I was so happy to get a TLR again.
Minusta on harmillista, että nuoremman polven valokuvauksen harrastajat käyttävät filmiä lähinnä digitaalisten tiedostojen materiaalina - lopullinen tuote, jota he haluavat, on yleensä kuva, jota katsotaan näyttöruudulta. Suuri osa ei vedosta kuviaan paperille - ei millään menetelmällä. Kun läppäreiden monitorien säädöt - puhelimista puhumattakaan - ovat yleensä vähän mitä sattuu, menee aika paljon työstä hukkaan. Toki ymmärrän, että digitaaliselle kuvalle filmistäkin on käyttötarkoituksensa - esimerkiksi painotyöt-
Thanks!!
If the lab is not used often but they hand develop film you will be fine. I often used a lab that uses a Jobo and the results are great.
Just bought this camera yesterday at a local Red Cross thrift store for about 150 danish crowns or around 22 $. Just waiting for the batteries and the film to come through the mail right now. Looking forward to try it now!
Great video! I love Olympus. You should try out IS-5000
19 sec in and an expletive. Bit of growing up needed Bye
Hyvii videoi sul, alotin ite filmikuvaamisen ostamal tänää Kodlakin Funsaver kertakäyttökameran, mut tarkotuksena ostaa joku parempi filmikamera jossai kohtaa
I am so glad to finally find someone who doesnt just completely shill for Polaroid and adresses their insane ripoff strategy with pricing, surfing the "nostaliga wave" without actually making super good products for insane prices.
love my C220! had several other 35mm and medium format cameras and sold them off and only kept this one. it is a conversation starter but also just a very fun and unique shooting experience compared. to my mirrorless Fuji setup
Excellent take on a great camera.
What is the sensor size of this olympus mju 1 ?
Holy Sh!t slow down the jerky video
Hello! Probably nobody is going to see the comment, but as a first filmcamera now, would you recommend this or the Kodak H35? Can’t decide if a new or old is better choice and which one is better quality! - would thank a lot for an answer:) Liked the video a lot!
The Kodak H35 is a toy compared to the Mju. If you find a Mju in good condition, I would always recommend it.
Sorry i have a question, can i send those pics that i took to phone??, if i can how?
Hey I have this Mju camera too! Or Sarah, my wife does! Check out the new short I just posted where she shows it off, and please ignore the stuff she says about me kidnapping her. I'm definitely not holding her against her will locked in my film cooler. Love the shots! Especially the stone steps with the archway. Subbed! As long as you don't report me to the cops.
Como hace para conseguir las imagenes???
Hey, maybe you can help me. I took plenty of photos with the camera in New York, and some turned out to be very sharp, while others were the complete opposite. The lightning and even the setting were the same in some of them. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you :) Edit: im always using the focus (LED) to be green before i shoot (and always shoot without flash).
I don't know where you saw these prices for the [mju]/stylus
Great camera, the MJU II has a couple of extra tricks and can also be shot with a remote, the lens may be a little better too. I have 3 like this and 2 MJU II as well as a few of the zoom models. All good. I think this one is the most fun to carry and shoot though.
That was a great idea, good job. Common sense is a wonderful thing !
Would you recommend the mju i or mju ii?
love this video: simple, clear, clean. Keep going bro
If it was serviced by Leica seal could be after this franken made ;3
Would you please show yourself loading film into this camera? I'm asking because I am trying to make sure scans of photos, which I believe were shot with this camera, are in chronological order. The negative film strips are confusing because when viewing the photos in right reading orientation, the frame numbers and film IDs are up-side-down.
What is the developing time for rodinal 1+50? I cant find it anywhere!
thanks for sharing! love the Olympus brands, such a easy to use point and shoot camera ☺
Hi! Do you shot at auto iso with the DX or did you make any kind of DX hacking?
Brilliant. I just got a Mamiya RB67 Pro S with 70mm back and extra Linhof by Kodak Try-X 320 and 400. it's said to be new old expired but I can't find what year. maybe 1975. What can I expect with this stuff?
Aww, you know Nico, he's brilliant. Way fun stuff. I just got a Mamiya RB67 Pro S. Beautiful 1969 Cadillac de Ville
Brilliant review. f2.9 is nice on 6x6. But the zone focus is tricky wide open. That’s probably why f8 with flash did little easier. Have you come across any good rangefinder versions of 6x6 compact?
Ari is great. I’ve been following his channel for a long time now. Interesting idea about using the C220 as a pinhole camera. I’ve had great fun making pinhole cameras with my grandkids out of aluminum cans and using darkroom enlarging paper as the film. Thanks for this video!
More details but Noritsu looks much better. Photography is not about zoom in details.
You inspired me to wamt 1 now. How different from the C330 ?
Thanks man! excelent review of a super underrated camera!
@ 1:00. Nikon F5! That’s an amazing mid 90s pro body. I wonder what’s wrong with it if it’s giveaway. Try it out.
I did pinhole project in Uni using a Sinar 8x10 / 5x7 bellows loaded w/ 5x7 & 4x5 photographic paper. Bellows was pulled back to its infinity stops. But I can extend out to adjust angle as well.
I get the similar thing with my “2” cameras. My Nikon D3s looks to classic in ergonomics that some ppl think I’m using old 35mm. However, when I’m using my F4s w/ its data back (led display) they think I have a fancy big DSLR. lol. & when I take their pic, they run to look in back. Trying to touch the screen
Brilliant mate! I do the same on the Nikon side. Share old & new Nikon lenses between my F2AS, F4S to D3S The only trick is not all AF lenses play as well in manual focus but it if you have good eye, it’s ok As an affordable 90s SLR, I have the Nikon F801 (mini F4). Affordable & does everything one can use even today.
Brilliant! I stumbled onto your channel and now on Insta. New sub and follow. Looking forward to more content.
show more images! I preferred it to Hasselblad,(couldn't focus),My Fat Albert(Pentax 6x7), Rolleiflex seem stunted without other lenses.. I know about other Rollei other bodies!
Several decades ago the negative was exposed to photographic paper. and this went through developer, fixative bleach, stabilizer and drying.
This is one of the last things my late grandfather gave. He gave it to me to fix it since it wasn't working. And I was motivated to see if I could make it work and I stumbled upon your video
Interesting and cool seeming camera! I like the results you got…. Focus aside…. You’ll intuitively get better at that, with experience! Good job!
to keep minilabs running people should reach out to Machinists to fabricate custom parts that are missing on these guys. They can make you anything for a price.
Really great video! I’m interested in how this all works and I feel like you’re an expert, well done!
Easily worth 1000 USD
