Para los que hablan español, los comentarios dicen que la única forma de desbloquear la puerta es drenando el ahora de forma manual, lo cual es súper efectivo, porque inmediatamente sale el agua la puerta se desbloquea. Yes, when I had this exact same problem after I tried to add laundry after the cycle had just started and the door jamned, I just emptied the water from the bottom valve and the error disappeared and allowed me to add laundry, opening the door.

Thank you, I also had the same problem after trying to add garments to my wash. I only needed to open the drain filter and empty the water (put a towel on the floor) and the door lock released itself as soon as the water was drained. The machine then resumed its cycle. Thanks for your help.

(I m copy pasting the solution. Because it is getting difficult to find out. due to increase of the numbers of comments. it worked for me. thanks to @JP-eu3je) @JP-eu3je Ok this was my fix: 1- turn off the machine. 2- get towels in front of the machine just in case. 3- in the lower left corner theres a little door where the filters are behind. Above the filters is a slot where you see the yellow ring, pull the ring down (with something narrow like a key or scissors, to manually unlock the door while u pull down on the ring you hear a click and you can pull the door open. With the door open turn on the machine on the same program it crashed on. Then it says “add” again. Just close the door and hit start. It then starts normal again

Same with me. Got machine yesterday and have this problem. i used cheap Beko machine for 10years and never had electronic problem like this. I will return this one, Miele is not what was in the past. Paid to much for this quality. expensive and over raited.

My Miele washing machine still didn't work after I manually drained it... when I tilt the machine forward and drained the rest out... it worked, all capacitive and manual buttons worked. It's heavy so GL.

Very easy. Manually drain water. + start + Stop from the turner (not from touch screen) + Set it to the 20 min and wait for the machine to drain water itself. DONE! Or read the manual :)

Hi! Miele washing machines and washer-dryers cost more in spite of other brands for nothing as even Miele always have problems and often very serious ones especially in the electronics which always has failures and burning problems of the electronic boards themselves. Their very high price is truly unjustified and unjustifiable! The electronic boards are not made in Germany and the spare parts cost almost as much as a new washing machine! Other less expensive brands work great and never have any problems of any kind! Furthermore, it must be added that the much vaunted honeycomb drum does not wash well at all, indeed if you make a comparison with the old Mieles that used the drum with holes, the latter wash much much better! The honeycomb drum was just a publicity stunt and nothing more! Regards.

Couldn't take it, you can hear the tick from across a room and wasn't a pleasant one. Was kind of a your times running out get it done kind of vibe. Put it in a drawer but could still hear it, bloody thing was even louder, so had to take out the battery. Blessed relief, not had a watch since. I dont need the stress. Would like to try a digital one but they all look absolutely awful.

Miele sucks! I've seen other videos about their mother boards being faulty! Sorry this is happening to you, these machines are not cheap!

That happend when you turn off the mashien without pumping out the water if the water hotter than 60 degres celsius the maschie would not open the dor after the teperture is unter 35 degres

happened to me too. The comments helped me. I opened the filter at the bottom and pulled out some water. After the machine had no water, the error disappeared.

Same issue, but I see now solution here. I accidentally pressed the touch panel and have even start the sycle. The door is open, but I cannot reset the program now. Any ideas how to reset?
