California Road Trip - Part 3. Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks
Our epic 1400-mile California adventure reaches its grand finale - the awe-inspiring national parks of Yosemite and Sequoia!
For the first few days, we luxuriated in a unique camping experience at Autocamp Yosemite. Imagine cozy Airstream trailers nestled amidst stunning scenery, providing the perfect base camp for exploring the park.
After soaking up Yosemite's majesty, we embarked on a southward journey, ultimately reaching the breathtaking Sequoia National Park. Towering redwoods, ancient groves, and breathtaking vistas provided the perfect conclusion to our Californian adventure.

The second part of our 1400 mile trip around California. We set off from SLOCAL (see part one for more on that) and head North up the coast to San Simeon, and Hearst Castle. After spend a few hours marvelling at the audacity of Hearst's vision, we continue past the Elephant seals, and up into the Big Sur area, a truly breathtaking stretch of coastline, before spending a few days in chilled out ...
California Road Trip - Part 1. Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and SLOCAL

What a stunning, brilliant place California is. We hired a car, and set off from LA, and did a 1400 mile road trip, up to Carmel by the Sea, and then inland to the great national parks of Yosemite and Sequoia. America practically invented the classic road trip, and didn't disappoint. In this first part, we get underway, with a couple of days in chilled out Santa Barbara, and then up to the beau...

Before lockdown, we visited Chiang Rai in Thailand. In recent years, Chiang Rai has become one of Thailand's most popular destinations, and it's easy to see why. Beautiful countryside, some very interesting temples, and delicious local food. A link to Phu Chasai, the hilltop resort we stayed in, is here phu-chaisai.com/en/ We thoroughly recommend it. It's a beautiful part of the UK, with both the river, estuary and inland areas, all worth exploring. Also in the area are the well known visitor sites including the Eden Project but we were happy going on walks and just relaxing in this d...

7mins+ story u.k and Japan flag walking side by side is real communication yet? I wonder. I feel if like an allowed camping like under block exploration will be nice to discover people - or near swimming pool(have shower) or portable toilet. So the grave are fake as real story underground is cannibal sharing spot or story of "real wealth" of others storage place, a secret bank? Heard nobody buried in Singapore before?

Basically this shows Singapore has no architecture and culture of its own, these are all architectures from Europe, China and Malaysia. Where is the indigenous Malay architecture and historic buildings? There's dozens in Singapore yet none of them are on this video.

Has mankind drawn the appropriate and painful lessons from WWI and WWII? That beneath the historical grievances of justifying war, are the domestic undercurrents of ambition, pride and power feeding on one another. This dynamic is still present today. If not carefully managed or reined in, they can form a combustible mix that can spiral nations into another hemispheric, if not global and total war. Lest we forget.

Thank you for this presentation! Indeed, Singapore does preserve a vast array of heritage and historic architecture reflecting our very eclectic cultures. Our global outlook does stem from colonial days when East, West and everything in-between gathered here to make a living and leave an indelible and colourful imprint today.
