Dude! What an Awesome build! Soon as I get a 3D printer I’m doing this and Anakin’s ROTS saber. Also really want to do Captain Rex full Armor and helmet. But the first thing I need to do when I get one is a fully enclosed Revan helmet, I just got his Hilt (The Revanted) from Warsabers and am currently installing it now!

Do you know what to do if your Inner and outer shells don't want to come together or even match at the notch on the sides?
If the parts don’t match up, it’s possible they got warped somehow. Depending on how misaligned, you could try flexing them into place, but I’d say you’d likely need to reprint them and make sure they align. I’ve had to reprint plenty of parts because of printing issues so it’s not uncommon.
@@Player2Props I've tried a few time but even when it is able to fit inside some other part didn't fit right

I printed this with each part as its own color. The only post processing I’m doing is to go over the gem portions with a gloss finish. I know it would be nicer if it was filled and sanded but I had very limited time to get this ready for my wife’s Halloween costume. Great models! Thanks.

This looks amazing! I’m planning on using this to 3D print a crown for a Daisy costume. Then I won’t have to pay for a cheap looking crown and can use the 3D printer that I never use. Thank you for making this!

How long did you wait (in minutes) between spraying the gloss black paint and rubbing in the powder? I know you said before the paint dries, just curious if you’ve found a sweet spot in your experience.
Only a real og like me will know that daisy, when she was in mario party 3, had a red crown instead of a golden crown

I’m trying to do another coat of primer but now it’s coming out of the can brownish. What should I do
Strange, I have never encountered that. Is it an old can? I’d recommend using a different can if it’s coming out discolored. Or, if the paint quality seems up to par, you could continue using it. Hope this helps!

Can you make luke's lighsaber from retern of the jedi
If you find a print file for Luke’s saber online (check thingiverse) the process of making it would be very similar!

This is really beautiful work. I already downloaded the 3D print files and I just added the nail polish to my Amazon cart so I can make one of these. I'd like to eventually make all the major lightsabers like Obi-Wan's, Vader's, Luke's (originally Anakin's), etc. I'm not too big on the sequels so I doubt I'll attempt Rey's (even though it's really just Luke/Anakin's) or Kylo Ren. Anyway, great video and beautiful work on this prop.

You could also try finding a makerspace in your area; they often have 3D printers and a tech on hand to help. I hope this was helpful!

I'm glad you liked this video, and thanks for your interest in my Johnny Silverhand video! Unfortunately, I was disappointed by Cyberpunk 2077, and lost my enthusiasm for that build. I may return to it in the future, but for now I have other projects I want to pursue. However, I did release the patterns I made in the description of that video for anyone to use for their own build!
