Love this song! The seventies were amazing!

Yes you're right. There are some very good singers out there that the main stream music world knows nothing about. Tori being one and then theres Angalina Jordon and the incomparable Lucy Thomas. All these singers are 21 and under. And what they all have in common, is they are reviving and keeping alive the old classics. Take a listen to Lucy Thomas's rendition of Barbra Streisand's "Evergreen" recorded when Lucy was nineteen.

I heard this early yesterday morning. Sydnie is singing every song with a lot more confidence, emotiveness, and power than her BGT days. I didn’t think it was possible but she proved me wrong. Yesterday I saw her singing Simply the Best as lead with two or three other female vocalists. She was awesome. I saw that on Instagram.

I love this one too, Carole. John sounds amazing, as does the whole band. You can't tie John down when he is performing, he usually needs the whole stage. His energy demands it. Taping his mike cord down to keep him in one spot is not going to work. I know John's time with LRB was not a happy place for him but they did produce some incredible music.

Another amazing song to get lost in-- but take care-- it can depress.

As songwriters, they dug so deeply into their subjects -- so authentic, the emotions they describe. feeling, so deeply, described so eloquently. I think in many ways they were empaths, especially Barry and Robin.

You should react to the video of this song. Barry and Maurice look especially fine in tights!

Have you heard Spirits Having Flown, the title song to the album yet? It is by far one of their most beautiful songs.

Barry and Maurice performed well together even when Robin was off doing his own thing. I love the whole album. It is so different from watching them perform in the movie. The music is what sets it off. Their British sense of humor showed in the video and they could all have been comedians fi not singer/songwriters. It shows a lot in their Midnight Special performances, especially the intros only video when they introduced other artists, they actually did some slapstick in that video. It is such a stark contrast between the serious music and Monty Python type comedy.

I so love Barry's chest voice, I really could just listen to him sing the phone book in this style, one of the reason I do enjoy this album so much. I would love to hear your react to "Cucumber Castle" the song (from Bee Gees 1st). It sort of sets the imagery for the Cucumber Castle movie/albumn.
