Bush fire I think? It was spectacular but not good as the ambient temp was about 42 Deg C. It was bloody hot on the bike. Air intake temp on the bike was saying 52 Deg C with the added heat coming off the track! The camera battery went flat so I missed the choppers that were coming in head height (as the track dropped away at the back of track) to fill up from a dam inside the track.

Water logged the pitch for several hours, then drove a 2T 4WD up and down it - got it real compacted. We now use a reel mower to cut the grass down to the roots.

Hahha. Hard Rubber Seamer ball used. It weighs more than a normal cricket ball so you really have to time your shots. Only problem is it hurts like hell when you get hit - no protection.

@xXxDrummerStekoxXx Auto wicky, 4's and 6's are marked on the boundary by the end of the grass. There's probably another 3 metres to go to the fence - which is out if it goes over. Top shed on the full is 8 runs on the full, accompanied with the demoralising "death rattle". The ball is a hard seamer ball so is actually heavier than a standard cricket ball - even though it is rubber. It works brilliantly as you need to time your shots or it doesn't go anywhere.

What kind of rules are you using, like for boundaries etc..

@sahanaka1 We watered the pitch until it was water logged. Then drove a 2 ton 4WD over and over it. Then it took an hour to mow it, going lower and lower each time until the blades are running on the ground!
