I did a light restoration on this 1997 Yamaha Banshee jordan_garibay
Do you have an extra gas tank I just need another one because the one I have is leaking gas and can’t find another one
I didn't know you could use vinegar to remove rust from a gas tank. That's good to know! I'm wondering though.. by not getting all of the rust out of there, will it not affect how it runs later? I thought any kind of rust in gas was a big no no on any kind of motorized vehicle/ATV?
Very nice
I can’t seem to find that nose cone piece
I got it on ebay
Awesome work man!!
Thanks!
After sanding the plastics, what did you buff the plastics with? They turned out nice!
Yea I buffed them
Man finding a banchee for that kind of money today is quite the find.
Was the new carb good aftermarket used or new?
New
OK@@jordangaribay9608
Nice bike
Thanks
Looks good
Thanks!
Where are you located
Cali
Also, I was trying to look for that front plastic piece online. Did you find it on eBay?
Yea it was on ebay
Nice man. Looks great. I just scored a little bike like that for $50. The frame is bent though. So I’m trying to find ideas on how to straighten it out.
Are you located in Miami also.
California
Witam to jest śmieszne że macie tak tanie quady 700 dolarów amerykańskich to na złotówki 2700 a u nas chodzą takie po 6, 7 tysięcy i więcej
Отличная работа, я сам так же востанавливать технику люблю
Wow, good job. I have my 84 still, was bought for my 2nd birthday in 84. My dad saved it, and passed it on to my son now. It runs amazing, but could use cosmetic tlc like this one. Good job, it looks fantastic.
Really nice work.
Ran across your video. Where is the battery located? Thanks
I havé à 1988 big bear,thé startmotor doesn’t move thé cilinder?
How fast does it go
I bought a 1997 BIg Bear 350. It needs some work - so I am going to just do what I can. I've got a new battery (a trickle charger and fast connect - auto shut off), 2 new headlights. New material to cover seat. Oil, oil filter, air filter. Gonna clean up front and back rack and paint. and just go from there. Glad to see this. I think mine had a lot more riding done on it - than this one. But looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Thanks much! clean the whole body - get some shine back. Looks good. good job.
Appreciate it! Glad to help
I rebuilt a 2004 Big Bear, and just finished a 86 Moto 4 for my daughter-very good value for used ATV’s, and parts are both cheap and available!
Nice!
Im working on a project big bear 400, where do you source your parts from? im having a rough time finding what i need
@@AquatechnicLive go on Ebay pull find everything on there
@@AquatechnicLive Ebay had most everything I needed to include upper cylinder head and piston, and lower crankcase / transmission. Some parts were Yamaha, and some Chinese knock offs, but my Big Bear and my daughter’s 86 Moto 4 are 100% working order! Would like to find a 90’s Moto 4 350 Big Bear-the early ones had a much heavier frame, and front end with grease zerts on everything.
What did you use to buff it? Like compound?
You can use car wax
How did the paint hold up on the exhaust did it burn off or flake off at all?
It holds up good try it, it looks nice to. Mostly on 2 strokes. Don’t do it on a 4 stroke header you use on on a 4 stroke silencer to
also where do u get extra bolts u need for a project from
I get them from Floyd’s or a hardware store, I also have a ton laying around. You can also order a bolt kit on eBay.
when ur doing restorations whos yt vids do u watch for problems ur running into problems
