When "good enough" won't do, choose Peterbilt, forged from a legend.
Amazing video about the Peterbilt. What is the year and model of the Blue and White Peterbilt at 3:05? Is it a 378? Please and Thank you.
My Late Dad Robert had a 1953 Peterbilt built in Oakland California and a 1965 Peterbilt built in Newark California
God made Peterbilts, to keep QUEERS OUT OF KENWORTHS
359 один из красивейших траков без сомнения!🙂👍
My Favorite Peterbilt's 351, 358, 359, 379, and 389 ^^
Love all the Peterbilts but imma have to go with the Iconic PeterBilt 359!
Cool
Today's cmvs are junk. To many restrictions on the motors. Federal government ruined the trucking industry
Tony justice 379,000000 Tawana
Nothing more badass than a 359!
My Grandfather whom passed away in 2004 was in partnership with Perri Burke concrete inc located in New Iberia Louisiana was so proud of his Peterbuilt’s they would carry sand & gravel daily to Mississippi, I remember very well. I was never informed about the enterprise ever. I believe there’s Major fraud going on with SOFTWARE MARKETING & INSURANCE FRAUD💯👹💯❤️
Peterbilt history long version. All 7 minutes.
Idc what ppl think every model of peterbilt is the best peterbilt best in class love my 579 ultraloft with x15 cummins in it
Large Cars
At 1:13 the man standing under the load is Armand E Olsen. "Snozz Olsen." he was #1 truck driver until he retired in 1976. He hired on at Snoqualmie running a speeder while railroad logging. When the decided to truck log from Camp B under "Truck Hill," He was offered the chance to be the guinea pig with the first truck. He never looked back. I secondloaded for him just before he retired. He was quite the character. A fun guy to work around and a real gentleman.
I heard Pete wants to get rid of the square body 😲
389 all the way
The MX is very reliable except for the camshaft that are known to fail, all 2017 and newer have campaigns to check for metal in the oil filters older ones had a sizable recall to replace them, The shit fuel system that constantly fails, the junk back pressure valves, the manifolds they seem to be unable to design not to leak at the slip joints, and the junk plastic coolant fitting on the back of the block. I sometimes wonder if this engine is going to break paccar.
Overrated
Plsss American donate some American trucks like that kenworth peterbilt i hate truck in my country also Japanese and European are best but Chinese truck are junk as fuck
Please bring the chrome back
The Peterbilt 350 is a sexy truck. I saw one when I was a little kid it was antique when I saw it in the early 80's but I liked the look of it with the single round lights and that grille I fell in love and been in love with that look ever since
2020
Old truckers never die, they just get a new Peterbilt.
I was told by a man in Los Banos he got the last Peterbilt to come off the Newark Ca assembly line with factory straight pipe exhaust in1968. That man was Leonard Meza.
More than once I’ve came way to close to rear ending someone during a traffic jam while lusting after a Peterbuilt. 397 styling (especially Cholo styling )always make my dick hard when I see them on the highways. Keep making them the prettiest truck on the road!!
He didn't mention the ones that starred in movies. There were some in Smokey and the bandit and one used in transformers movies.
They built the most iconic truck ever...DUEL 💀💀💀
Please make all trucks look like the 359. Just update the engine, tech and interior alone.
all truck engines are detuned now, theyll bullshit you more power etc but all lack the old school torque, fucking greenies can suck my black rolling coal!
I had 4 Petes, one 359 with a big cam cummins and a Eaton 13 speed transmission, love it my other 3 were 379 extended hood with 3406b Cat and 15 LL transmission, there were my babies until California pass the new emissions law, is such a shame that we can't have such of Titans on the road no more to admire.
3:30 my best friend Doyle Coulter
can someone plz tell me which model is the one from 2:35
my dad drove from the 30s to 60s. macks and petes were his favorites. thats him and me on my avatar.
he had to retire and start his own brokerage firm. too many camels and diesel fumes .
That's a cool pic. Your Dad definitely has some guns 💪💪going on there!!👍😀
@@charlies.5777 somebody said it looked like he worked out in the gym. i told her it came from loading and unloading trucks . from the time he was a kid. :)
Now all the trucks look the same. What a shame.
This is just marketing speak. Go away. Blah blah, global resources, blah blah, EPA, blah blah blather. Who clicked like so many times? Bots.
Love my 2020 579 UltraLoft. Best truck ever
I have a company of peaterbuilts 579 all 700 cats
75 years sweet keep going
Peterbilt, the best truck on the road. If you are a peter-puffer.
No you’re not::::: the new trucks suck 389 forever
In N Out Burger in California uses older Peterbilts, I believe the 379. They are immaculate. No sleepers. Tall chrome stacks. Gorgeous.
“Logo famous all over the world”. The worst b.s. I have heard in a long time. You only see these trucks in America. It’s far to old style to be of any interest in the developed world. Only Americans think American vehicles are good. US made vehicles get foreign names to hide it’s American. Chrysler Voyager is called Lancia Voyager in Europe, that’s how bad it is.
We have modern trucks as well. There's newer model peterbilt.
Anyone have a sources where I can learn more about Diesel engines?
This video remainds me of Facebook Users, They only post what they want other people to know and see.. Petes are good trucks mostly, but not Perfect, So, Come On, keep it real, tell it like it is.
MX13 reliability is debatable.
Not debatable down right deplorable
Now they are just as much of a PITA to work with as KW.
Awesome history lesson and the pictures are awesome!
I make 1/14 scale petes and I am going to buy and restore a full sized soon. Hopefully.
