How we made a DIY PVC / EMT Electric Go Kart (48V 2000W)
Переглядів 754 тис.5 років тому
We used PVC and EMT through it for a strong frame that looks cool and our kids could built it! Plus, it can handle a more powerful 2000 Watt brushless motor for little ones and adults - 40 kph !!!
I literally have the rectifier and diodes in my Amazon cart and found this video. You can’t get JUST two caps and one rectifier, so 9 bucks for a 10 pack of caps and 6 bucks for a pair of rectifiers vs 14 for the converter. No brainer.
so did you get a kit for the frame or anything else in a kit? if you could share where and price. and if not could you share or dm me me a list of part where to buy them and estimated cost of each. i would really like to build one of these with my son little mom and son bonding
Great work. And great explanation.
Very nice video. Easy to understand, you're well spoken. Hopefully, I can do the same to my snowblower. Thank you.
the tester is hooked!!!!
How much did it cost you
How much did this cost to make?
I was going to see if you had any plans to buy for this go kart and what you used. I really appreciate what you did and wanted to build something for my grandkids.
What motor did you use, how much torque did it have, what was its amp draw and what RPM, also what type of battery did you use and how did you make the dashboard electronics work
How did u make the pvc stay together?
In 2024 still waiting to see how it was built I wanna try it but yeah
It would have been amazing with lithium batteries and hub motors
Hey man do you have a wiring diagram of how you wired the lights
People you don’t need to cut a opening in your wall, you can make this a waterfall separate unit, it can be movable, same idea but not fixed.
Awesome work. What would something like that cost to have installed in a home? Just ballpark figures.
thats sick, i wanted to build one for a while
I need to build go kart for my Child And I'm to found you❤
Hello mate have you got the build instructions measurements by any chance??? This is quality my son won’t stop asking me to build one with him
How did you thread the wires through the waterfall pipe? Can you maybe take a closeup picture of that please
What was the budget man? I want to buy or build one
Sweet ride man the plumbing was a genius idea. Light weight.
❤❤❤❤
I really love this and I've been meaning to do it for a while now. I'll get you a link if I do. I'm definitely not going to do so much wiring the main purpose being I just don't know how to and it looks complicated
I love the pvc. It must have took a long time to add that detail.
Weres the parts list?
Hey Scott I agree with all the others great , no excellent build …any chance to get info on your motor choice, batteries, brand eletrical connection etc . I can contribute if needed..thanks…a retired grandpa ..trying to please his grandson👨🏼🦳
Yep, this is next level. I am definitely going to be tackling a similar project for our home. Why not just use the 4/025 mylar? Is it that expensive?
Great video, but can you list the leds and pump etc please?
Can you make pdf document with all details like how many pvc you use and how much you spend in money cost?
it would be better if it had lithium ion batteries
Very nice
Looks amazing, good stuff!
sharp edges aimed at your face really need some consideration.
How u charge it

Hello, I have a craftsman snow blower and the voltage coming to the original light sockets is 13.6 Volts DC. I hooked up a 12 Volt 58watt LED light bar to it and it worked perfect... for less than 1 min, and then it burnt out. The light doesn't work any more. I have 13.6 Volts DC still at the sockets, so I was wondering if you could give me some insight of what I need to do ( I have another one of the lights) Capacitors? or something? I did forget the inline fuse but the light is rated for 10-30 Volts DC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim
Now that's creative!! Good job.
Absolutely amazing content Scott please keep on uploading, I’ve just recently found your page and your absolutely amazing in the thing i like your videos is you take your time to explain everything step by step. Please keep on uploading your an absolute legend 💯❤️
Awesome build! Just getting into the electric side of things building mini bikes and go karts and love this.
This light install is perfect for me as I have the same machine only branded in 🇨🇦 as the Cdn.Tire Yardworks model. All the same -different colour. I may mount my light on-top of the auger housing though when I get to this. 👍🏼
Do I need to run any capacitors with the step-down converter when running lights off the stator of my snowblower?
Do you have a CAD model for this project?
Hey Scott, that's one beautiful decor. I love the idea.
Great job.
Terrible camera angle.
May I know a tutorial on how to make it?
