Fri, September 27th, 2024 From the biblical history of the Jews. Acts 10:17-23a 17 Now while Peter was greatly perplexed in mind as to what the vision which he had seen might mean, behold, the men who had been sent by Cornelius had asked directions to Simon’s house, and they appeared at the gate; 18 and calling out, they were asking whether Simon, who was also called Peter, was staying there. 19 While Peter was reflecting on the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. 20 But get up, go downstairs and accompany them without misgivings, for I have sent them Myself.” 21 Peter went down to the men and said, “Behold, I am the one you are looking for; what is the reason for which you have come?” 22 They said, “Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous and God-fearing man well spoken of by the entire nation of the Jews, was divinely directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and hear a message from you.” 23 So he invited them in and gave them lodging.
Now on the next day he got ready and went away with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him. Today's explanation. Peter’s Vision (3) Application of the vision “Now while Peter was greatly perplexed in mind as to what the vision which he had seen might mean, behold, the men who had been sent by Cornelius … appeared at the gate.” (1) The vision was not about food but about Gentiles. (2) The arrival of the messengers clarified the application of the vision. It seems they took some time to find Simon’s house. The fact that this happened “while Peter was greatly perplexed in mind” indicates that everything was progressing according to God’s plan. The “gate” refers to the entrance gate leading from the road to the house’s courtyard. (3) They asked if Simon, who was called Peter, was staying at this house. At this time, Peter was completely unaware of the noise outside because he was contemplating the meaning of the vision. “While Peter was reflecting on the vision, the Spirit said to him…” The Holy Spirit spoke to Peter: (a) Three men had come to visit you. (b) Get up and go downstairs. (c) Go with them. (d) I have sent them, so you have no need to hesitate. “So he invited them in and gave them lodging.” (1) Peter invited them into the house before setting out early the next morning. This was an invitation to a meal. He extended the hospitality of Simon the tanner to the Gentiles. (2) Peter and Simon the tanner overcame the barrier between Jews and Gentiles. However, a greater barrier remained: Jews being invited by Gentiles and staying in their homes. Let’s compare Jonah and Peter. (1) Jonah received the mission to evangelize the Gentiles but but he refused and thought of fleeing to Tarshish from Joppa - the opposite direction of Nineveh (Jonah 1:1-3). (2) Peter is now in Joppa and is being called to respond to the mission of evangelizing the Gentiles. Surely, He had learned from Jonah’s failure. Blessed are those who follow God’s plan. However, in a greedy, competitive society for survival, it is the opposite direction to sanctification. It is a society of money worship. In Buddhist terms, success means leaving the secular world and entering the Buddhist path. This is the anti-Ten Commandments path. Japanese society is a society of ideas that mixes Shinto and Buddhism. Young people who want to succeed are forced to study the doctrine of evolution and atheism from an early age, and are brainwashed into doing so. And the world view that is taught as a compulsory education is that there is no Lord God. It is the anti-Ten Commandments path. Those who do not have conflict in that social environment will never be able to live a wealthy life unless they fall into an immoral spirit. The same is true even for Christian leaders. So, while blurring the anti-Ten Commandments direction, they emphasize that God is love, making the God of the Bible a mere formality. Emphasis means falsehood. For example, it is to give false persuasiveness by unnecessarily emphasizing only certain words in a sentence. To add an example, if you introduce a person to the people around you as "a person who is not good at English and is not good at it," it can be implied that everyone in the class is good at English. This trick is rampant in cults. This is called "the fallacy of emphasis." Furthermore, in Japanese human society, the teacher is the only one who is right. Those who have publicly confessed "Yeshua is the Lord," circumcised their hearts, and made a covenant of reconciliation with God, will always face conflict and persecution from the whole world in their lives in this world because they have changed direction and converted in the opposite direction to the Ten Commandments. In recent years, Jews in Israel and around the world have deciphered the name of the coming Messiah. His name is said to be "Yahoshiah." The rabbi who was able to decipher and explain this has since died. He is a group that publicly claims to be the most righteous Jewish Jews. This is why the trick described above works. There is not a single righteous person on this earth. This is what the Bible shows. They should be sentenced to death from birth. These sins have already been exposed. However, despite these warnings and admonitions, it cannot be denied that they are becoming more and more confused and moving forward with stubborn, stony hearts. Even when the testimonies of those who have seen and touched Yeshua, the Son of the only living God, are explained to them, they are indifferent and unrelated to this. This is their mental attitude. These deified people, like Adam, do not stop asserting themselves and emphasizing. This is, they are unconsciously committing the false emphasis. This shows that a direction and direction that is the exact opposite of conscience resides in the human flesh, and that the sinful nature is at work in the flesh. Therefore, humans remain this egoistic soul until death. It is impossible to overturn this on their own. Therefore, humans cannot be saved from God's wrath except by relying on God's mercy. The nature of sin is the same even if one pays the price with the blood of an animal. One will never be able to achieve reconciliation with God. The Jews are the pinnacle of money lending. The principal of the payment for sin is the same even if one pays interest every month. Therefore, one will never be able to achieve full repayment unless one pays it in one lump sum. Therefore, one cannot achieve reconciliation with God by believing in one's heart that Yeshua is Hamasia and that He is one's Lord, confessing in public, and making a covenant of circumcision of the heart.
