Brussels Airport weather & aviation scenery throughout the years...

Hi folks,
usually I take my (motion) pictures from Brussels Airport, but on rare occasions I include weather related items as well. Being off duty on this particular day and even not home at all, I couldn't let this one pass by: a recording taken from my remote weather cam @ Kampenhout (Begium) with all images speeded up 10x. The outbreak of these severe thunderstorms was widely covered on all (social) media and here is my modest contribution with a shelf cloud coming overhead followed by a downburst and heavy rain.
The images came out like the cam did record it without the typical barrel distortion correction of these kind of surveying cams as the special things happened in the sky which doesn't matter too much. On some images a spider came before the lens, furthermore a big bug and some birds were also distracting factors which were manually corrected by removing these images. But for the rest no postprocessing took place. Watch & enjoy :-)
More aviation related stuff filmed in 4K and solely taken at Brussels Airport spotted from the ATC building at Steenokkerzeel will be uploaded on a regular base as hundreds of items are waiting to get analyzed, post processed and compiled to show it online someday.
Some of my older footage prior 2024 will remain for the time being online although filming quality at that era was not that great. But it gives an idea of some movements @ Brussels Airport throughout the years when I was there.
Any feedback in the comment section is most welcomed.

Hello folks, Brussels Airport has three runways and most of the time landings occur on 25L while the departures take place on 25R. On some rare occasions rwy 19 is used for both landings & departures, mostly in case of strong S'ly winds. This did occur on 9 March 2024 and gave a good opportunity to catch all movements at once in front of the ATC building where my hand held camera was recording....

Hello folks, it was since 2011 to have a real winter wonderland @ BRU. On 17 January 2024 it started to snow for about 8 hours leaving a deposit of 8 cm by the evening. As it remained most of the time freezing, the magic was still there for another four days and I was also lucky to be present on the second day. Around 19h30 along a thunderstorm a nice shelf cloud developed being visible for approx 15 minutes. View from Brussels ATC tower at Steenokkerzeel facing towards the West while the storm moved N-wards.

The fourth of June 2021 was promising concerning heavy thunderstorms. I set up the timelapse cam around 15h00 local time and recorded things for the next 2 hours. In the timelaps a microburst is showed in which also a B747-400 of Longtail Aviation (VP-BWT) departed on rwy 07L (far right on the view at approx 5 seconds). Hi Greg, thank you for your comment and susbscription. Yes the last decade snow became quite rare as during our winter season the wind tends to blow always from a SW'ly direction for very long periods resulting in mild temperatures. But in theory it's still possible when the wind blows from the northeast to east advecting cold continental air and if precipitation falls it's quite often as snow, just like in this case.

It really is an amazing sound. I would love to have a JT3D noise machine and stick it unde the hood of my car. Flew on the last scheduled 707 in the continental US in 1983. Unfortunately I was stupid and sat behind the wing, so this music was denied my ears.
