Nelson was a cold, calculated hitman. He didn't talk much, but his presence was ruthless. To get killed by Rachael just doesn't seem right. I didn't like Rachael's character. She was an ungrateful person. Sure, Marty used her, but he also cared and helped her when she got hooked on drugs. Then she turned her back on him.

This was a refreshing break from the norm. Bcz in Ozark, nothing ever seems to turn out well for anyone, at any time

So we're just gonna ignore the fact that he had no reason to be going after Ruth at all? Camilla didn't knew it was Ruth who killed her son at the time, and Rachel agreed to keep laundering after Nelson threatened her. Season 4 was a mess.

I forgot how good this show was

I just watched an episode of banshee and realized how much if a similar world these two have, so many same actors, Ben, Nelson, Sheriff, Sam, the big guy that was killed to compenate for Del , were all in banshee too. Both had fictional towns with all different races, natives, cazino ownership and its specific laws favor to indian lands etc.

People complain about this death but it makes total sense, Nelson is expecting someone who has no idea he’s coming, an unsuspecting target, so he has no reason to suspect he’s in any danger when gets there, she got the jump on him and in these situations that’s the difference between life and death

I guess a lot of people liked him. I definitely enjoyed seeing him get what he had coming.

The problem with this scene is Nelson, a seasoned assassin, drove up to her house with his lights on, left his car out right in the open, didn't scan his surroundings before getting out of his car, etc. He was cautious and patient so it's unlike his character in so many ways to just drive up to her house in the middle of the night, even if he thought Ruth wasn't home and he planned on waiting for her, he wouldn't have just left his car out in front of her house, his death was rushed and stupid and it's not how he would have acted in like 90% of situations. Half his kills were done in the middle of the day, he doesn't really care about the time, sure night is the best friend of any assassin but when your target knows you are coming for them, you are literally telling them what time you are going to be showing up.

Lol! All the comments talking about him just driving right up with no tactical strategy for a “seasoned hitman” He did the same thing going to Ruth’s trailer looking for Wendy’s brother. He’s just a trigger man for the cartel, nothing more. The show doesn’t try to make him out to be nothing more. And that’s a good thing. Adds realism in my opinion.

Interesting how earlier in the show, Nelson spoke to the shrink about a problem he had with his "dog". But it really was Nelson who was the dog in the show that only listened to his master's voice. And in the end he got taken down like a wild animal, or in other words - like a dog.

I really thought that Claire’s bodyguard would have been the one to kill Nelson.

I hope Nelson got to see that it was some random trailer park girl that ended him. She won’t even miss the end of Duck Dynasty.

Honestly, killing Nelson is like performing a civic duty lmao. As fucked as it may be, I think you should probably feel guiltier for running over a squirrel or raccoon then putting two in him. Dude was the definition of a MENACE. No morals, no compassion, no conscience, and absolutely no hesitation. Every time you saw him you knew shit was getting real.
