@@zamSEG okay baik, bagi pomen reel Drag Mati bermaksud reel tu tiada Sistem Drag. Maksudnya tiada sistem yang akan melaraskan dan boleh melepaskan tali pada tegangan yang ditetapkan. Reel dengan Drag Mati tak perlu diketatkan pun, ianya memang tiada Sistem Drag. Reel jenis ini tidak akan melepaskan tali seperti reel yang mempunyai Sistem Drag. Semua Sistem Drag Hidup akan melepaskan tali jika tegangan melebihi nilai yang telah ditetapkan dengan mengetatkan Drag tersebut. Tak boleh tarik tali atau pulas spool setelah drag diketatkan hanya bermaksud belum tarik atau pulas dengan cukup kuat. Spool tu sedang ditahan oleh geseran, bukan kunci secara fizikal macam sistem Drag Mati sebenar. Untuk makluman tuan, boleh dikatakan 99% reel moden mempunyai Sistem Drag atau dalam rujukan tuan sebagai Drag Hidup. Sistem Drag sangat penting bagi mengelakkan kerosakan pada peralatan memancing dan perlu dilaraskan bersesuaian dengan peralatan yang digunakan. Beberapa reel moden seperti Shimano Ocea Jigger mempunyai Lock function yang berasingan daripada Sistem Drag, Lock ini bagi mengunci Spool bagi membantu melepaskan Jig yang sangkut atau memutuskan tali. Bergantung kepada jenis mesin dan design anti reverse system dan komponen yang digunakan. Juga efektif jika tuan banyakkan latihan fight dan daratkan ikan supaya lebih dalam kawalan dan efisien mengendalikan peralatan.

Sekiranya carbon fiber plate itu tidak mengandungi resin sebagai agen binding atau pengeras, maka boleh digunakan. Sekiranya mengandungi resin, kelancaran atau kekuatan drag yang dihasilkan boleh terkesan.

In many cases much less than 2 years with Spinning reels. Magseal bearings on the other hand is pretty long lasting. For the other Magseal application, best to check annually of every 6 months.

@@Warumarbeit yes some Daiwa Saltiga in the year 2010 ran into some issue. Magseal dried out straight out of the box. So the possibility is always there. Key thing to understand is that Magseal is not foolproof and far from maintenance free. The consequence of a failure in the Magseal especially with Spinning reels can be severe with saltwater use.

Penimbang spring. Tuan boleh cari Booms Scale di Shopee, beli model 25 LB mudah nak baca ukuran.

Supposedly cast control atau braking knob. Dia boleh apply sedikit resistance dari drag system untuk casting atau drifting baits.

Here in Malaysia we do a lot of saltwater fishing, so I always pair Carbontex washers with Cal's Drag Grease. Even if you do freshwater fishing exclusively, the drag grease helps prolong the washer's life and stabilize the drag output.

No they don't come with instructions 😁 but I know there are plenty videos around UA-cam which would be able to guide you. Just make sure you use the right tools and suitable drag grease to use with the drag washers.

@@reelyology Thank you for your reply. I found a schematic on a website selling carbontex washer's. Between that and my Pro Qualifier schematics I feel like I can make the upgrade. I'll look for more videos.

@@reelyology If you don't mind one more question, what tools are you talking about? I have a tool box of small screwdrivers, micro wrenches, etc. These are the tools that I use when I do my twice a years preventative maintenance on my reels. Am I missing something? I use Lucas reel oil and grease. I notice that there is specific drag grease I'll need to order.

@@TN-Vols-Fan you sound like you have the right tools. While the tools are simple, they just have to be the right size and used properly. I only reminded as a general advice since many end up with damaged screw heads etc. Though Carbontex can be installed dry, I find that Cal's Drag Grease is a good compliment against corrosion and wear.

Buat ujian kuku, kalau tekan pakai kuku tak boleh masuk, dan lapisan tali terasa keras. Maksudnya cukuplah tension yang digunakan untuk mengisi tali. Purata tension kita gunakan sekitar 0.5 kg hingga 1.5 kg tgk pada reel dan poundage tali.

Running with Carbide end mill, the Carbontex sheet I use have rigid inner core making it suitable for router bits. I've seen others cutting with CNC Laser and it works well. I chose a CNC Router as I work with wood and aluminum occasionally.

Drag washer material bergantung pada model reel. Ini pilihan manufacturer. Tatula system dua drag washer yang mana 1 washer Carbontex dan 1 washer gasket, pilihan ini menyebabkan drag cenderung untjk jadi sangkut-sangkut

This was a lower ratio option at 5.1:1 so they will produce higher drag than the 6 or 7 ratio models. Drag power was expected around 7-8 kg based on the drag stack design and washer dimensions.
