We have zippers like that on a lot of our work boots in Australia. It's so you can tie the laces till the boot is comfortable, then double tie the knot so they never come undone, then you never need to touch the laces again. You just unzip, step in, zip back up and you're good.

hey bro so ive been thinking about the Kimber TLE/RL II for couple months now, and i be heard mixed reviews about Kimber but i really want this gun, any advice? hows the gun holding up?
The only issue I had was my rear sight drifted to the left. They didn’t use loctite on the sight screw. Other than that it runs like a champ. No malfunctions on her yet.
