But then I found your video, and you immediately relieved my stress with all these practical tips and examples! Thank you so much - this video is so well made, and I appreciate how you show ways to roughly design/plan a room even without photoshop. The tools you recommended are already helping me take the next steps. Not gonna lie, when I clicked off this video, I fully expected you to have hundreds of thousands of subscribers like the other interior design folks I'd been watching given the quality of your video. I can't believe you're still under 5k! Easiest subscription on UA-cam I've added lately.

You have amazing ideas and really help me! I need inspiration because I have 5 children so à family of 7. I was thinking about buying the thomasville tisdale 6 peice sectional from costco. I want to pair it with ikea items. Could you do à similar video but with the costco sectional?

I would be interested to see how you would have decorated the previous apartment applying the concepts that you talked about in the video. Especially the point of not putting all the furniture against the walls. I have a hard time with knowing how to apply this one, especially when you have a room shaped like a plain box, like in your previous living room. Thanks, I'm enjoying your videos.

In your first example I would have seen some cute curtains to add more texture and maybe add another neutral color as well. I think you probably would’ve gotten away with the darker green then. 😊 Also, I Love the tools you’ve shown. Thank you very much! ❤

Wonderful video!! Thank you for the introduction to color theory and the BEHR visualizer tool. My biggest challenge is bringing visual interest to a room that has no natural light... white is reflective but boring. When my now-husband and myself first moved into our first apt, my MIL got excited and started getting us little trinkets and decor ALL GREY bc the apt was grey and white (new build). I don't have an eclectic style but I do like colors. Thankfully now the MIL has little to no influence on our new space. BTW this video was incredibly informative and clear. Thank you!

Commend strips are underrated. My whole rental uses it, I avoid holes the most I can and they hold well enough even heavy frames.
