I stopped 6months ago, but I’m using them again now because my analytics overall are just bad. Some views are better than none and I always use “related video” link. So I see them as boosting my long form videos versus paying for promotion

Everyone cites mr beast because he is the most successful, but can anyone here actually get through his videos? The few I’ve seen are complete drivel

That is true. Shorts are like drugs which can get addictive only until they harm you. I used to post shorts on my main, but now quit. My videos trippled in views ever since I quit and it does not affect it no longer. I took that as a lesson and I am trying to hit 10k subs so that the 1k subs I had from shorts, will be an easy fix. And I am never posting a short on any of my channels ever again.

What if i put the same videos in long form and shorts. Then ill put the thing where you can click the video above the shorts title to redirect to the long form one

Work on your long term content. Occasionally use shorts feed to promote your channel. You main viewer base/income is good AND you bring in new potential audience. If you are just doing shorts then I guess just make a lot.

I've actually noticed a faster channel growth by using shorts. But the traffic to my main form videos is down to nothing. I went from posting an umboxing and review to over 100 to 1k views. Now I'm lucky if they get 50 views
