Thank you so much for your videos! I've also watched the 30 hours one, although my daughter turned 2 in July so we're lower hours. My daughter only goes to nursery one day a week and for September there's only 4 weeks so our bill has come in at just £36 for that month, obviously for the months where there's 5 weeks in the month it will be a bit more but it just seems so crazy seeing just £36. Just a little question, I know you said to make sure you include the tax account reference but the nursery has their own reference, I'm hoping there will be enough space for it!!

I do click & collect with Tesco & just tie it in with when I’m out already (eg nursery run). I haven’t done a big shop in a supermarket for about 6yrs 🙈 the idea really stresses me out now!! I find it’s so much easier to compare options & £/kg online & plan meals around offers, etc. I also use Shopmium. Definitely saves us money!

I recently started online shopping as previously begrudged paying the delivery fee, but am finding it saves me money as i onlybuy what i need and dont come away with £100 worth of middle isle goods 😂 it saves me sooo much time aswell ! (although do hate you seem to get given short sell by dates, but they do seem happy to refund you for this. Ive also recently started meal planning for the whole week and actually sticking to it, my food shop has reduced to about £80 a week for a family of 4 from £100 and less food waste. We do an online shop as it saves us so much time! We've found it worth paying a little bit more for some products, but it seems to work out around the same across the month as I dont pick up any extras because I don't go into the shop

This is such a refreshing video. There is so much pressure to live like these ‘influencers’ but the reality is many of can’t afford it. Sometimes I just want to watch real people doing things that saves them a little money but they still are trying to have a good experience. Love your accent too!

Holidays seem a lot more expensive this year, we had a look at a haven caravan holiday this year in a caravan park thats not too far from me and it was almost £1500 for a week 🫣 I personally dont think it was worth that price so didnt book it

Going away in just over a week to Majorca has a family of 10, me my husband, 2 adult daughters, partners and 4 grandchildren age 9, 6, 5 and 2 years none of the kids have been abroad before so very exciting.Didn't have a clue how much it was going to cost so bit of a shock £10,600 for all inclusive looks lovely with great pools for the kids, so hopefully wont be disappointed.your right about the hidden cost all needed new passports, cattery, dog sitter, clothes, the list is endless but bear this in mind in the future.Thanks for your blog very informative, we are aiming to spend as little as possible.

We are doing UK holidays this year cos we have just moved house but we have got a Greece holiday booked for first week in May next year. 2 adults and a 2 year old, self catering for a week in 2 bedroom apartment cost £1224. The additional cost we have to factor in is paying for nursery cos we still pay even if she is not attending.

I think it's very expensive for a week. We usually go to Turkey and that's gone very expensive for self catering. I'm looking at last minute all inclusive, but my kids are 36 and 40 so they pay for themselves. Hope you all have a lovely time 🥰

This was really good. Thank you. We are a family of 3. Still in nursery so we go away out of peak season until next year. Still costs 1500 ish plus all the extras. So generally spend 2000. Like you we save all year as we value holidays over other things. Our next trip is Madeira which is a lovely family holiday too. Any tips for the fight? How to entertain a 3 year old? My budget for food is £120 my everything else budget is £30 and that does include hair dye, £12 a week bus ticket and I've been trying to eat more fresh fruit and veg and trying new things.

Tesco noodles 35p quick and easy lunch when I can't be bothered....which is often 😂
