I think lawsuits are a really great way to deal with cheaters... epic should pick some random cheaters every week or month, no matter if tournament or just for fun public match and drag them in front of a judge. The risk of getting bankrupt for the next 300 years would prevent a lot of losers from starting to cheat and ruin other players fun.

Fortnite is just now doing this with cheaters? I’ve found cheaters literally everywhere in creative games and nothing has happened till now? There was literally people playing fortnite games on tiktok lives visibly hacking and people posting videos about hack8ng

I'm not a comp player I just play pubs (duh) but do feel bad for those of you who are and run into these people. There are so many talented legit players that lose out because of these hackers. Glad Epic is doing something and from what I've seen there's more hackers they need to deal with. Good luck comp players!!

Keep in mind, by cheating in competitive matches with prize cash, he was literally trying not to only steal money from epic, but from someone else who would potentially have won fair and practiced a lot.

I was banned for "cheating" like a lot of people 6 months ago on an acc I had 5k earned and I was constantly playing tournaments, I wasn't cheating and I was constanly playing tournaments (and I wasn't constantly placing good) I complained about the ban and got no response so I armed up. Bought a spoofer, a new acc and cheats for 250€ and i've been cheating on tournaments untill I get all of my money spent on my main account. Fuck this game, they have a bot to answer people and only care about money, not my game, I apologise if you run into me.

I dunno mate I know cheating in games sucks, especially in a competitive environment but sueing a teen is kinda extreme...

Yeah I was just getting into the competitive scene at the end of chapter 5. Almost every match I played I was killed by someone cheating; It is a hopeless wasteland. To make it worse they removed zero build tournaments because of cheaters, but they're still everywhere. Cheaters taking away from people who would need the money more, If you can afford a full setup for cheating in fortnite then you don't need the money from tournaments. I actually stopped playing fortnite because there's no more hope for me and I have moved to games that i'm way better at playing.

Wont stop until there is a law to sue the cheaters not just cheat creators. A lot of people are more afraid of jail time than a simple risk at getting banned at a game. Technically they’re altering software with modification whether it’s pressing a button to toggle them on or writing the scripts themselves 🤷

In all my years playing fortnite, I've not yet seen a single player I can confirm as a cheater. I'm sure a lot of the accusations are just latency issues. People don't understand how latency works and constantly confuse it with cheating.
