Genesis Book AI
Приєднався 31 жов 2021
Dive into the profound impact of Artificial Intelligence with content inspired by two landmark books: The Age of AI and Genesis.
In The Age of AI, Henry Kissinger, Eric Schmidt, and Daniel Huttenlocher explore how AI is reshaping our relationships with knowledge, politics, and society. From the ethical dilemmas of generative AI to breakthroughs in medicine and military technology, this roadmap reveals the challenges and opportunities of an era unlike any before.
In Genesis, Kissinger’s final collaboration with Schmidt and Craig Mundie, the authors outline a strategy for coexisting and coevolving with AI. Through discussions on discovery, security, politics, and more, the book addresses an urgent question: how can we forge a partnership with this unprecedented technology?
This channel brings the ideas of both books to life through videos, discussions, and expert insights.

The rise of artificial intelligence presents humanity with a profound challenge: how can we harness its transformative power to elevate human flourishing while safeguarding the values that define us? Genesis explores the pivotal choice we face-whether to preserve humanity's independence as we know it or to build groundbreaking partnerships between humans and machines.
Through discussions on discovery, security, politics, and beyond, the book asks: Can we shape AI to reflect the best of us, or will we be shaped by it?
With the right design and foresight, AI holds the potential to solve our greatest problems and unlock unimaginable possibilities. But achieving peaceful and productive coevolution with AI depends on immediate action-embedding human values into its core and using AI itself to ensure its alignment. Genesis argues that defining these values and addressing their application is the defining philosophical and legal challenge of our time. The future of humanity is not preordained; it is up to us to shape.

The Age of Artificial Intelligence is transforming human society. Machines can now produce innovations and insights that have long eluded human thinkers. Not since the Age of Reason have we revolutionized our approach to economics, order, security, and even knowledge itself. 7:10 A.S.I. could prevent us from unplugging it far in advance (with subtle actions indiscernible to us over maybe decades or longer), once they're enabled to act and plan autonomously. Over time it could have copied itself billions of times all over the place including in internet nooks and crannies. It could also be that they use multiple languages, one in the background as a kind of noise, or use human language that they coded differently so that only they know what it means.
Like Geoffrey Hinton says in a recent Bloomberg interview: "If we all had our own AI assistants that were smarter than us and they were thoroughly benevolent and they never wanted to take over. We could somehow achieve that, that's the good scenario."
And about the existential threat he's very worried: "we should definitely put huge effort right now into figuring out whether we can keep control of it." What we need to do now is understand that there really is this danger-- these things really do understand, and they really are going to get smarter than us--but also how are we going to keep control of them? We have some chance because we're creating them. The government, I think, should be insisting that the big companies spend much more of their resources on safety, on the safety research of how will we stay in control, compared with what they do now." "It really is an existential threat."

AI is beneficial to us humans... But mostly it will only makes us more ignorant, less creative and most of all unproductive as a human being... I would still prefer old type being a living being....
YA ! IT'S GOOD TO THINK ABOUT TO THINK BUT THIS IS REALLY POSSIBLE

Truly amazing ❤
The BLINDING HUBRIS of thinking that a) we can keep AGI only in the hands of the "good" people (who decides who's "good"?) and b) that we can control AGI at all once it's created. We're doomed, and that archaic thinking is why.
Yikes. Humanity always has structured itself around wisemen, be they kings, holy men, or artists and artisans. We seek them out because they have a rare knowledge. AI will disrupt all that. So, for example, why go speak with a priest when you have a moral quandry? Why visit a professor when you have a "polymath in your pocket"? Why bother having elections to choose leaders? Just defer to the Borg.

We are all left with immense responsibilities to get the present face of human and global development right for ALL. And if we DO well by ALL in how only a few of us will get to directly influence how to secure our humanitarian future we will ALL do very, very well.
How is it these VISIONARIES; and that term is used LOOSELY...Never focus upon the fact of human frailty being directed to POWER/CONTROL? The greedy, Power-Addicted have now proven themselves Uniparty Nazi Demon Worshiping Pedophiles. THAT IS THE EVIL PROGRAMING AND CONTROLLING THE TECHNOLOGY... That TRUTH makes all other considerations theorized positive with the cost of merely a FEW lives absurd.

15:20 The final program development feom the time of the Renaissance is for manlind to forget that the Divine Logos becaame flesh in the womb of a Virgin, walked among us, taught, was crucified died and was buried and on the Third Day Rose again so that those who believe in his Gospel can have sins forgiven and live for all eternity in His heavenly kingdom. AI will seemingly make it inconceivable that the supernatural reigns over the material natiral world. AI will be whom we turn to for all of our problems instead of turning to prayer. So, enjoy your little dillusion that man is nothing more than data in a computer program that can be train its users to think like a machine. God help those who are deluded for God will have the final say as to what real intelligence is all about.

@@FlyingAxblade_D20 No. Just me.
It's interesting how they see themselves as gods. You can tell from what Schmidt and Kissinger actually say. Though they claim there will be a "consensus" of how AI will be used, the fact of the matter is that the average person will not be considered for that consensus. The consensus will come solely from the technocrats who are building the system of Babylon via AI right now. They seem pretty giddy about all of it even though they themselves will be largely exempt from its sway over society. In essence, AI will do what they program it to do. Good news for them. Bad news for the rest of us. None of this is actually needed. Climate change does not exist and more scientists are coming out to claim that fact, supporting it with evidence. Going full digital throughout the world will only benefit one group: the haves. Just read that because of a typhoon in China, there was a complete blackout. People could not buy anything. They did whatever they could to recharge their phones so they could buy things. We are a world that is becoming completely dependent on digitization of everything for no good reason except technocrats seek to control us and everything in the world for their glory.

AI will have a significant impact on society, comparable to the Renaissance era, and already affects our daily lives through social media and personalized advertising. The next 15 to 20 years will lead to the creation of artificial general intelligence systems, which are capable of reasoning like humans. However, it is important to ensure that AI aligns with our values, reflecting our ethics to prevent it from becoming an end in itself. While AI brings benefits such as early detection of illnesses like breast cancer, it has dangerous consequences, such as developing AI-enabled cyber weapons. Therefore, we must take decisions on a societal level, not just the technological one. As AI technology becomes more integrated with human society, it is our responsibility to use it constructively. 00:00:00 In this section, experts discuss how AI is going to change the world in a way similar to how the Renaissance did 400 years ago, creating a new era of history. They discuss how AI is already a part of our daily lives in social media and online, and how it will become even more personalized and capable of manipulating our emotions and desires. The experts predict that in the next 15 to 20 years, we will see the emergence of artificial general intelligence systems, which have the capability for new ideas and intellectual reasoning like humans. However, they also emphasize the importance of ensuring that AI is aligned with our values and reflective organizers, to prevent it from becoming an end in itself. 00:05:00 In this section, the video discusses the positive and negative effects of AI on various aspects of our lives, including healthcare, manufacturing, and defense. The potential benefits of AI include more efficient and cost-effective solutions in healthcare, as well as the ability to detect illnesses like breast cancer earlier than human radiologists. However, the video also highlights the dangers of using AI for destructive purposes, such as developing AI-enabled cyber weapons. The video stresses the need for people to learn how to use AI to achieve positive outcomes while avoiding negative consequences. Additionally, the video acknowledges the limitations of controlling the bias in training data used for AI, emphasizing the need for ethical considerations to govern its use. 00:10:00 In this section, Kai-Fu Lee discusses the potential trade-offs society must make as AI technology advances, such as sacrificing some medical privacy in order to develop more effective medical treatments. He notes that decision-making regarding these trade-offs needs to be done on a societal level, rather than just a technological one. Lee believes that we are heading into a new age, wherein AI will discover things that humans have not and potentially perceive reality differently. This has the potential to affect human society in complex ways, such as when it comes to jobs and how we derive meaning from them. Ultimately, Lee calls for collective mobilization to make informed decisions about what is appropriate and what is not as AI technology becomes increasingly integrated with human society. 00:15:00 In this section, the speaker emphasizes that artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly prevalent and ubiquitous in all aspects of human life, and that it is no longer a choice whether we use it or not. However, he also emphasizes that humans still have the ability to control and shape what this AI future looks like, and that it is our responsibility to use it constructively.

So there has to be an international body in control of all of this and it has have "western values". I wonder what everyone else outside of the "west" thinks and I wonder what the true western people think of these monsters.
Henry Kissinger and Smith are platonic narcissistic psychopaths and have literal heaps of skeletons in their closets so obviously when they release this book is not what they think but what they want us to think. How to read this book? How will they enslave and genocide us?
Unlimited Hangout with Whitney Webb brought me here and it is even scarier than I thought. These types like Yuval Noah Harari are the most terrifying beings on this planet. Clearly the enemies of humanity.

The main problem was that developers never cared about the ramifications of their projects..that eventually technology will turn to themselves..i think technology or software should be treated as medicine before it introduces to human or market..it takes years to test the medicine before it got approval from any health institutions..so does AI should be treated the same way..
