Honestly I used to only listen to the Papercut off of reanimation I think the feature verse and the more like dark cyber vibe are really unique and add a lot. I have come around more on the original but the remix might still have the nostalgia factor

@@fignukenrecords This album also has a nice flow as a whole, because somehow everything connects. Papercut is one of the better ones there, but as remixes they all hold up incredibly well.

Jon would've been an awesome pick sad I didn't think of that Iced Earth has some of my favorite riffs and damn does demons and wizards have some greats as well

@@fignukenrecords Well, I picked him for a reason after all (as every other member too). This is so much fun, it would never end - sometimes the draft would end up in a really strange line-up, but oh well, it's still a great idea as a concept.

Love Chroma Keys first album shows Moore's versatility and Rammstein's riffs can definitely go crazy

May just be because Utopia is fresher in my rotation but I honestly don't find myself going back as much as with the strongest tracks on utopia. Overall rodeo still dominates my listening time for Travis

Correct me if I am wrong but the way I interpreted the song was the relation between fan and artist and the fans that are never satisfied with the new thing or the band becoming more recognized for their talents and more about corporate shit. But to me the first is just in my opinion just kind of saying fuck fans who think that, while in reality to me at least if you we ever helped by them who cares if they turned their back on your music they listened and now you're better off for it. like i said do correct me if I am wrong with the meaning of it, but that was my interpretation and thanks for input.

@@fignukenrecords Maybe the "good reason" part of my comment was off. It's all up to intrepretation, I'd imagine Maynard kind of cringes at the "deepness" in the lyrics fans look after. And the song was written in response to an arrogant fan or arrogant fans who buy his music.

I understand where you're coming from with the interpretation and I agree I just think to me the way it comes off is more just like a grain of sand on a beach because every artist has to deal with that and art is all about taste and opinions so no one will ever be fully pleased if they take it too personally.

Yeah, same. I am taking singing lessons at a music school and I showed my singing teacher (she is a Jazz singer) this track and she said it is a really hard song to learn. I don't know how you can say it is bad. The Pot and Jambi are one of the best songs on this album, same goes for Rosetta Stoned. The lyrics for Rosetta Stoned they did that on purpose, I read in an interview that it was a big F*** Y** on the music industry for all the non-sensical rap songs in the top 100 charts.

I understand where you are coming from they aren't for me even tho I personally don't mind the song its on my playlist just not my go to i prefer the vocals on other tracks I am no vocal coach I respect that some people may like it, but these videos are always going to be opinion based and I understand lots of people will disagree and that is good we do not all want to be robots who like the same thing. I also know if we would have gone as in depth with every album as we did Fear Inoculum this would be most likely a multi hour video. Overall thank you for your input it will help make our future projects better.

While I do agree it is a great album that is why it is still A Tier for us we aren't trying to snub an album we're mostly saying to us it is not quite as perfect as a truly perfect album as we mentioned the filler tracks and more just hold it back that slightest bit for us. Its purely a matter of opinion for us as we've said we've slightly grown out of the band so we were probably a little harsher than we would have been 5 years ago. Thank you for the input it would be cool to see your tier list if you ever decided to make a video or even just a comment for it!

@@fignukenrecords It's understandable but really in truth Tool doesn't have a bad album in general. It's been super hard for me to decide between Aenima and Undertow, but in recent days Aenima has been my therapy album it's a relatable record. I kinda grew up with this band every album even their new one is good. Not many old bands I've listened to come out with great new material anymore. Tool delivered very well. Not Lateralus or Aneima well but very well.

@headlessdisco730 I get that personally I don't agree just because for me Fear Inoculum was a huge letdown just felt too drawn out compared to some of their already longer masterpieces I also would have put Lateralus in S for me since I think that is a damn near perfect album just with two guys ranking it is a balancing act

Definitely has a lot of iconic songs but also divided a fan base by changing there sound drastically

@@fignukenrecords Ok I changed my mind. I started listening to Metallica 4 weeks ago. Until Reload I think the albums are very good. From then on (except for the latest) I don't celebrate much of them. I wouldn't put Black album on the 1 anymore. I set Master of Puppets and AJFA to S tier. Master of Puppets before AJFA. AJFA but ONLY in the ... And Justice for Jason Version.. so good.. Kill em all is also very good, closely followed by Ride the Lightning. Then black album.

In addition, the voice of James. It has changed over the years. Kill em all, for example, I think it's cool and also later the albums up to AJFA is really Peak.. I celebrate the higher rough voice ^^

I can see where you are coming from Kill em all is very raw but to me at least it's very enjoyable to hear the early iteration of the genre

@@fignukenrecords yeah don't get me wrong it's a great album, with some classic tracks and killer riffs. I just think they set the bar with Puppets and Justice, both of which are (imo) perfect from start to finish. I even like the production on Justice, which I know is controversial.

I do think mop is probably their most well constructed album

It's so hard because I think we are partially rating between just their catalog versus all music but I know all lists are very different

Definitely agree with some points I tend to like the higher pitch with this album less bit it's still very iconic nevertheless, I have a lot of love for the first album for it's rawness but I tend to spread my music out a lot so I tend to rarely wear out albums I enjoy

Yeah the dead is always divisive for classic rock fans so I understand it
