Amir's is the best one lmao! Still happy with my Eleanor though <3
his rizz is unmatched
i cried
Amir's is so sweet omg
I don't get it, do we still blow up and the loop restarts?
As of the finale, the reactor doesn't explode. But the loop that the Drifter established does restart.
WOW amir can be smooth when he wants to be
this is too much, Amir made me cry lmfao and I loved the Kalymos one
Major props to DE for not just making these model swaps with the same base animations. All of the being unique with their own little quirks is absolute peak!
Eleanor and amir have rhe best scenes
The quincy drifter at 2:07 looks so cute. Whats the face combination plsssssss
I need this too omg , very cute
@@mobisussy The Primary and Secondary Visages respectively are 7 and 1. The Face Blend is 0.6.
@@MuchVery thank you!!!!
'Please don't kiss the cat...' Ohthankgod. Also. AMIR WERE YOU AIMING FOR KALYMOS HOW HARD DID YOU THROW THOSE?!
BG3 PTSD...
Amir and lette are probably my favorite new year's kiss
Amir was just straight to the point
Mines is aoi
Best part of Amirs kiss is screaming Kalymos after being hit with his glasses
Amir lol
Quincy makes me FERAL ngl.
Looks cool!
Imo I think the Drifter should be more Adult and more mature with the animations like showing affections with the sanctum but operator should be more playful and child like just to show that the operator still has some of that power to just make people feel happy again like with umbra in the sacrifice! It'd be nice to see some character's acknowledge how operator is still at least somewhat happy despite all the Pain and such they went through.
I still use operator cause i love being a void orphan commiting genocides but I see why you like drifter now that i saw the vid it really opened my eyes:)
Yeah the drifter is literally an operator stand in why do you think the drifter gets the void powers in the new war, the moment the operator shakes the man in the walls hand and it shows all the other operators dying and your left with the operator and drifter shaking hands the drifter gets the operators void powers and can use the warframes, i honestly believe de has done this so they can touch on more mature themes that they can't with the child operator like the dating of 1999. Warframe has since they started adding story quests always been about mental health issues the second dream is basically about finding one's self the sacrifice is basically a message of you can't go through trauma alone the new war is you can't save the solar system alone, duviri is about handling emotions, chains of harrow is obviously about mental disorders, de wants to explore more mature topics and they needed an adult character to do so, i do agree with you that the drifter gives them opportunities to do more things with such as pvp the drifter is perfect for de to get rid of warframe pvp and make the drifter the character you use in pvp they don't need to try and balance near 60 warframes and over 700 weapons give us the drifter like a dozen weapons we can't mod and you instantly have the base for pvp that won't require de to constantly need to be balancing taking resources for the rest of the game
The problem with railjack is it should have been (original) Star Wars Battlefront 2 space battles and instead was big dumb lumbery space boat.
Hello! Why do warframes possess face, and human head? I think i get it. It did not work to take the essence away with the bumbum kiddos (operator), but by trying to uncover the warframes. For example when the helmet broke on the shadowy Excalibur at the end of that mission that was most definitely counter immersive. Somebody is trying to kill the game warframe.
I'm currently working on Part 2, talking about Warframe: 1999! Premiering sometime in the next few weeks.
Imo 1999 so far is awesome, great quest that was short and sweet with good payoff especially after the calendar reset. But I think theres a few things that fell flat personally. The fact that you stop getting new dialogue with the Hex after reaching max relationship status really sucks a lot of the life out of the update and destroys a lot of the momentum imo. It would have been a lot more meaningful if they had conversations that lasted throughout the entire Hollovania calendar year. The new environments are super nice looking and interesting to fight in. New enemies are always cool, but they kind of feel like enemies we've already been fighting; Scaldra and Techrot might as well just be Grineer and Infested. I found the Murmur to be a lot more unique to fight as a faction personally. The mission types are actually really good though and the mall and aesthetic of the entire update is incredibly well done Also idk if it's just me but it feels like 1999 is pretty light on things to grind for, which is probably a good thing overall. Fortuna was way too grindy at first, debt bonds from Bounties were a terrible grind. Kuva Liches can be quite tedious, involving some trial and error, and there are a ton of weapons to grind for, each requiring 5 forma to achieve max rank. Zariman has a lot of Incarnon forms and arcanes to unlock, and the weapons all take a fair bit of Voidplumes to craft. etc
The sequel is coming soon! Premiering in March at the latest.
I actually enjoy railjack and play it for shits and giggles, duviri I play strictly for incarnons. I don’t like the game mode at all
I just started playing not even a month and I love the railjack idea and some of the missions are fun I wish there was more to it and the devary not even interested, I don't like how much difficult is, It's like playing a separate game but I think they could incorporate the rail Jacks the arch wings on some pretty Large open world Events Or you had to take out A large creature and maybe some air support And you have multiple people across Warframe Working together to take this stuff down Even a boarding crew versus a flight crew And so on there's so many things they could have done to make the rail Jack incorporate into Warframe As well
The Drifter in 1999 is bonding with Hex and Hex is learning more and more about this stranger from the future. You can also tell them a bit about Drifter and how they grew up as you rank up with Hex. Like did Drifter stand by and watch as the Zariman went crazy or did they do some stuff themselves? Why they were in Duviri…how the Drifter feels about life outside Duviri
They update, they makes us play with something that isnt our warframe, its not well recibed, repeat. I personally like railjak and duviri but i see them as a different game that happens to be inside of warframe, and thats not for everyone (witch remindes me we need a railjak update like steel path railjak or something because i miss playing those missions, but there is no good rewards for going there)
If the Drifter made the deal, wouldn't that mean that the operator is basically a clone manifested by the Void and the Drifter is the real deal.
As much as I like the concept of the uniqueness of the Drifter's gameplay, I would NOT want to be playing them in the actual game. It was a cool idea for the quest, but damn I do not play Warframe to be NOT in a Warframe. Every 10 mins into the New War I was constantly groaning why I wasn't in my Operator or Warframe, y'know the things the game was named after? The concept is good in paper, but thinking about having those differences in gameplay being long term was a really annoyance. The novelty wears out fast, and the stark difference in the modes isn't good imo, it's like 2 different genres being forced to co-exist for the sake of a being different but without being wholistically natural. More and more quests keep making us not use Warframes, which I think is just so stupid. The frames are the game, they are the main selling point, doing everything in their power to not give us access to them is just so counterintuitive.
Railjack back in the day was absolutely a nightmare… and I remember waiting on everything farming everything. You new players have it much easier now.
Hella smooth.
would you mind sharing the face blend for your drifter?
Primary and Secondary Visages are 2 and 7 respectively, with a 50% Face Blend.
I wish Drifter gameplay was expanded way more than what we see in Duviri.
As one of the OG's i stay with operator for life, drifter still cool though
I feel its got something to do with dev team being split between two other games and theyre making cookie cutter content with no real gameplay and making island minimodes
the game isn't mid. But there is many problems that have to be addressed. The new player experience for warframe solo and alone is not great to say the least.
1999 drifter redemption? Not exactly in terms of gameplay-but everywhere else instead 👍
The main reason for these failed updates is actually Dadgamers and Casuals because they don't have time to play the game and DE will do everything so that new players can also consume content and have fun.
Oh how right you and the artist was
Other than the grind for pathos clamps and arcanes, you've put into words in what I've felt about Duviri since it launched. I wanted to enjoy it but it felt lacking.
The difference between a bad Warframe update and a good one is bad ones try to be something that isn't Warframe
The good thing about these two examples is that it isn't too late to fix bugs in them and even build on them. I'm part of the minority who like both of these updates. Duviri more than Railjack. The simple solution for Railjack is to add the cut content. I think a better amd achievable solution is to optimize Railjack and merge the star charts. My biggest critique with Railjack is most of the corpus nodes just feel like regular missions with a new intro and outro. Gut away the fluff and filler. No survivals, no defenses, and no repeats. Then place what remains in the starchart. Also I think it is annoying to have to either go to the back of your ship and the dry dock to host a Railjack mission. You can mod the Railjack in your ship already! Once merged, you can start to gut some Archwing nodes as well. Then you incentivise Railjack gameplay. How I'd do this is with adding in some mods/arcanes that help your archwing, your railjack, your companion, and the main loop. I'd also still reserve these nodes for the liches/adversaries. But add new bosses like Vala Glarios and a Grineer equivalent. Let Ash and Oberon drop from those. There's a lot of room to improve on Railjack. I think it could even be a valid platform for raids. Imagine flying two railjacks and/or implement squad link. With Duviri, it's less about Duviri itself as I think it is fine for the most part. I just think it'd be cool to actually let the Drifter have a melee weapon as part of their base gameplay. Then you have a reason to go Operator or Drifter in whatever scenario. Add more to the focus trees to account for the different play styles and how each school enhances them. Plus, I think adding more to the Undercroft is always a welcome addition. With Duviri itself, add multiple ways to end your run besides just fighting the Wyrm. You could choose to fight the Wyrm or another boss. Hell, add a secret buffed version of the Wyrm to warrant your mass amount of decrees. You could get a Glyph for each emotion by doing it, plus a decoration or armor piece to signify to others you are a legend. Love that stuff for the Sanctum and for 1999, it's something I wouldn't mind seeing more of.
This popped up on my feed today. Lol. I agree though and I'm really glad that de listened to you, and made some more drifter centric content in the 1999 update. I'd love to hear what u think of the update actually, I'm gonna check your page now and see if u have done anything more recent.
I'm currently working on my video about 1999! It should hopefully be out this month.
I vividly remember hating railjack on release, even after the bugs were ironed out I still didn’t like the idea of it. It has since grown on me a bunch and I even completed the full starchart for the proxima missions in my own time. To be honest I love it far more than pure archwing missions and the major flaw is that the missions tend to drag on for too long, which makes farming railjack exclusive drops so tedious to get(sevagoth/shedu/anomaly shards). Duviri on the other hand I never learned to like, the weekly circuit is good fun but the gameplay loop of the regular duviri paradox is so repulsively bad for me. Doubly so since the game forces you to farm materials from there to unlock incarnon genesis for some god damn reason instead of giving it to you outright after earning it, playing as the drifter fucking sucks and is a total dopamine drain, the Kaithe is so piss bad, unwieldy, clunky and bugged to shit that you WISH you had archwings every time you summoned it, few resources can be gained from each run forcing you to do run after run and if you’re farming kullervo god help you, there are nonsense minigames everywhere, some are fine and dandy like the “fishing’ minigames but then you have shawzin and komi which just makes me feel like the game is having an identity crisis, bugs still litter the landscape, I have encountered Jackals invincible to mercy stabs(can’t be fixed by forcing host migration either) ending my runs, Limbus enemies spawning at random and in great numbers infinitely chasing you down far beyond the reach of the caves and even following you through to the undercroft, orowyrm mechanics aren’t properly explained at all and when you see new people experience stage 5 paradox for the first time they end up getting oneshot because they missed subtle cues and need to burn revives since its not feasible for the rest of us to go get them, Duviri really is a hellhole, and not in the way it was designed to portray.
Warframe 1999 has fix Drfiter in narrative perspective. They are canonically chose to stay in 1999 because they felt connection with others as a person for the first time and sense of belonging in the band of misfits called The Hex.
What no one has mentioned(from what I've seen) is that the Tenno are adults. Sure, they look like teens and kids, but they are far older. The Tenno went through some of the most harrowing experiences, from abandonment, being hunted by their parents and guardians, forced into parricide for survival. Does lore tell us how long they were gone before returning? Once they returned, they weren't offered comfort, at least not by the Orokin. They were used as soldiers. Deadly, murderous angels of death, who were able to control warframes because they could calm them, comfort them, and identify with them. Tenno were denied a normal coming of age path, and were placed on the front lines. Alad V mentions something about "the last time you were this close to one you nearly destroyed an entire race, but you don't remember that, do you?" or close enough. They had enough time to form their own schools of combat and focus. It's easy to think of the Tenno as children, because they were only referred to as thus, by narration. The Lotus. Teshin. For the Lotus, she became their surrogate mother. For Teshin, it is a mentor/student relationship. We don't know for sure how long they were on the Zariman(especially with Void influence). We don't know how long they fought, or even how long it took to figure out transference before the old war was finished by them, or how long it took to overthrow the Orokin. My operator is female because the intro sequences character was female. My Drifter is male because that allowed me to play a male character and the paradox basically gives a carte blanche approach. To me, the Drifter/Operator relationship is like two sides of the same coin, unique faces but joined. The Drifter claims they are the one who made it out and the one who didn't. I never took this as a different entity from the operator, but a different reality OF the operator, and their realities have overlapped like a Venn diagram: sometimes we play one or the other, and sometimes they can both be there. Let's not forget the mirror puzzles in Duviri revealing the Operator. It's funny to me that people say they jumped immediately to the Drifter when the choice was offered, and that they feel no connection to the operator. Yes, the Drifter has better drip. Yes, we've spent much more time playing as the Drifter, thanks to the Paradox. Dudes, we went through the reveal of the Second Dream, survived the Stalker and Hunhow, brought Lua back from the Void, fought the Grineer Queens, went through intense internal metamorphosis......I mean, wow! There's so much more but we all know it and lived it. The Operator is who I choose when it makes sense, and for everyday mission play, it's DEFINITELY the Operator controlling the frames for me. Please don't take this in any way as disdain for the Drifter. I love the Drifter, but, KAHL IS WARFRAME'S GREATEST CHARACTER! J/k but Kahl is probably my favorite.
In 1999 during the KIM chat conversation we learn our tenno/drifter had a sibling and they hurt them in some way they regret deeply. And we learn that they feel like they're are in the operators shadow. They gained so much more depth. Where the operator moved on... The drifter did not.
In a way you chose what lore to share with the hex.
But the drifter does have guilt for what they've done
so wait, there are 3 version of us that we know of? from my understanding it goes like this: there’s what im gonna THINK is the original timeline where we don’t get save, THAT version of us start thinking about duviri in order to deal with his problems and because void + strong thoughts and emotions= anything can happen he ends up creating Duviri the drifter from duviri comes out into the second timeline(the one we play) Where we did get safe and became a soldier with void powers so our original version is either very dead or i’m wrong and what happened is that he traveled to duviri instead of creating a whole no being like im theorizing
I think the main problem that Duviri has it's that it probably wasn't intended to be a new player quest/alternative beginning. It just doesn't make sense to introduct The Drifter as a character in the beginning just to never see him again until the New War when you would barely remember him after like 200 hours depending on how you play. That's why I think they removed the possibility to start playing the game on Duviri and then follow the "Tenno path" afterwards.
I loved the duviri update ideas, but seems like it's been developed by noobs, and not the same devs from the original game... I mean, gameplay, combat and missions loop are awful... bad enemy animations, bad comunication etc... and it look like it's made by one of those "dei inclusivity" devs... I'm a boy and made a male character, but in character creation were like 30 female haircuts and 2 or 3 male haircuts, and they were horrible 🤣🤣🤣 I'm not happy speaking like that cuz I love warframe.
