If you take a second weapon set with no minions on it then you can choose when your minions spawn more reliably :) currently lvl 82 and pushing to T16 maps with this build!

What about Gemling for this? With the +1 level to skills and quality to give more life to minions, would it get around the same DPS? Also, can you post a pinnacle boss video of you have one?

Hey man, I rolled a new character and just hit lvl 58 after 15 hours, the damage is nuts but the minion timer is quite annoying. Other than the minion revives faster nodes, as well as the plague bearer poison nova, what else can I do between packs or to reduce the minion timer duration?

If we support a minion skill with cooldown recovery support, does that affect their revive timers?

Which option should I consider the most important? Please tell me 3-4 from the top. I would appreciate it. Also, are the status damage acceleration option + poison duration option valid?

What if you were to add a cleric or two to the build? would the just be killed or would they revive to continue the cycle of brutes sacrificing?

get another shield put it in weapon set 2, use blink, shield charge and disable minion on that weapon set. that's how u save minion for next time and have nice travle skill to get out of danger

I posted this build with witch a few days ago and something that might help is that poison doesnt scale with chaos % as it scales from Hit damage or in corpsewade case its corpse hp, magnitude and duration is the only way to scale it. The +1 level to chaos spells also increases the % by +0.5%

Running a Poison Pathfinder and found these as one of my first Uniques.

Great to see someone did this on Pathfinder! I am playing a similar build as Infernalist. I am playing with a single Brute that I scaled to Level 29, and has 65K HP atm. I am using a separate weapon swap set to use Hexblast with no minion stats on tree for clearing though, and a minion scepter set with tree focusing on minion health for single target. You can link Physical Mastery with Brute for an extra level, you can get +2 minion level on amulet and helm each. You can link Exploit Weakness with Decompose for a hugh multiplier if you can break armour. I am currently using Corrosion on my Hexblast to break armour, I think u can do the same on your Plague Bearer. Instead of using Dark Effigy which is quite squishy and has slow attack rate, you can use Eye of Winter to instantly apply full stack of Wither. This requires Eye of Winter to have some Chaos damage though, I am currently using the Pure Chaos node on the tree for this. I have extra Spirit, so i use Cast on Minion Death (20q) + Eye of Winter and it procs every time Brute dies.

I added gas arrows to this and it has been a super gas build not even sure if the gas arrow does anything but who cares 😂😂

Builds like this are why even though the game needs work in many areas, I am more than happy to stick it out while GGG irons out a lot on the pain points.

I think the withering node would be helpful for boss damage, + set weapon nodes for inc curse fx. Other than that, the build is great! Lots of potential and very simple gearing.

Can't you just weapon swap so you can walk around freely without your minions melting? You can set them to not trigger on weapon set 2, while still having buffs active, iirc. Unless there is some interaction with like the poison cloud disappearing if you swap.

I was trying to make crit VD work with minion resummoning just like you, but it didnt work. Instead i ended up doing a kind of cast on crit build. If you ascended thrice you can try fireball (or is it bolt?) with unleash + wildshards + the +2 projectile gem. You need the 15 base crit node, and you can skip the leech node (yes you dont need that). Stack as much crit chance as possible from the tree, especially a focus can roll like 99% crit chance. Also you need Choir of the storm (1-5 ex) and snakepit in left ring (also 1-5 ex).If you can get like 60-70% crit chance on fireball you just start completely wiping everything. Its a pretty cheap investment to make bloodmage a playable "cast on crit" build without the energy management. It hits my poe1 dopamine centers when wildshards proc.

I re-rolled a Chronomancer, Bloodmage is simply unplayable, it does nothing other classes can't do without killing themselves.

im trying to stick it out w bloodmage bc of the cost, but that minion bug is driving me crazy, the character feels near unplayable with minions despawning on nearly half the encounters i do

I tried Cast on Ignite with Detonate Dead but for some reason the Cast on Ignite stays with 0% no matter how often I ignite enemies around. Any idea why that is?

Do you think ggg will ever undo this change, in its current state no one will use it ever.

Could you not just use a cast on trigger spell that didn't require as much energy? As far as I understand you now need a shit ton of energy generated to trigger a comet, is there not another skill you could use that doesn't need as many ignites now to trigger?

AAAAAAnd its gone. The Patch GGG just put out put a hard stop on this build, and many others using triggers. I will try to think of a way to adjust, but I am considering a reroll, since I have had so many issues with bloodmage anyway. Hope your build is going well and you are having a blast with POE2! On the Bright side leech seems to be working now
