I recently got an offer as a clinical assistant at another nhs trust starting in Sept 7th 2024. My visa expires on Aug 15. So there is a 3 week gap between the expiry and the new start date. Will Homeoffice issue me with a visa with a start date from the date of expiry Aug 15th? Or will i have to go back to my home country to reapply for a new visa. Also if i were to apply for a new visa in the UK, do i have to travel to the vfs office in the London, UK to submit my biometric data? Thank you very much in advance for your assistance.
