No, once placed in the stand it is pretty good. There are also some 3D-printed mounts that allow you to hang the station on the wall. I have one from the UK and have not used it yet, but I tested it and it works really well. You can search on Etsy if interested.

Sorry, this was early in my video life, but at some point I need to invest in a remote microphone. While I speak a lot in public for instruction and engineering, for some reason when I talk about LEGO, I revert...amm...a bit.

Great idea! Will ponder that a bit. I did just make a Crewed Dragon. Also, soon I will be issuing my Oribiter kit is the right scale to the ISS and can dock and be displayed docked. There will be a video for sure when I get it out!

Well hang on! I will be issuing a new Orbiter model that is in the same scale, can dock with the station, and can replicate any shuttle in the fleet! Should be available before the end of Q1. Take a look at my Etsy store and favor if you want notice when the kit is available.

As a model and a car, I have to go with the Porsche. However, if you are interested in building a couple of other models, the Mustang has at least two AFOL designed alternate builds that are fun, a pickup and a modern Mustang. You can Google alternate builds and find them. Frankly, they are both fun.

Absolutely right! NASA definately wanted to know more about a long term operations in space and MIR gave invaluable guideance in design of ISS.

I know that several people have indeed hung their ISS from ceilings, but it would take at least three lines, two for the main portion of the station and another on the rear docking portion. This would keep it at whatever attitude you want to display it. I have a wall bracket made by someone in the UK, but have not tried that yet. It supports from the bottom much like the stand that comes with it.
