❤
That is some tasty guitar playing.
Awesome
Truly love this song true meaning of life
Oh to have been in that audience that night thanks Marty
Thanks Marty and the Superlatives for keep this Classic music and real Country Music alive.
My uncle is a priest and I remember him telling me way back then that the lyrics were straight out of the Bible. My reply was " Yeah I know it's taken from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 " Which really shut him up.
Perfect
How humble is Roger mcginn
does marty have a b-bender?
It is THE B-bender! He bought it from Clarence White's widow!🎸💖
@@MarigoldThyme wow!
@@MarigoldThyme marty is worthy of it for sure.
Ahhh, when everything was still white bc if it's white, it's right. 👍🏼
I love it!
Hermosa melodía, por fin lo conseguí, no hallaba como conseguirla, solo se que la escuché y me gustó e Hiba por turn turn turn
With all due respect, Dolly deserved a better duo partner. Tammy had George and Loretta had Ernest and Conway. She had a second rate musical talent. Sadly she should have recorded with Merle Haggard who had a host of second rate female talents (sorry Bonnie Owens). Merle and Dolly would have been of the highest country caliber, no doubt.
When was this recorded?
Martys lick are other worldly
2:38 oh thank god he’s human too
Clarence's licks,on Clarence.
Bass players can never just do as they’re told
I saw this show in Fredericksburg VA and I knew she would be a star.
it's a very uplifting song especially when you hear those first few chords.
Oh, how I wish we had TV shows like that now.
You still have but the female country singers are now clad in the form and style of Lady Gaga.
Spitze!
Love Roger McGuinn's 12 string Ricky. Marty is a killer musician. 👍👍
Roger makes the Rickenbacker a great lead for this fun song 😁😆
Marty, Roger and Kenny is my guitar heaven
Do Teles and 12-strings sound great together or what?
EVERY BIT AS GOOD This is every bit as good as the original Byrds version... Four plus minutes worth listening to again and again... The Fabulous Superlatives are on top form. Kenny as usual and spot on vocals and drums. Marty's economy on the B-string Bender shows that he gets it. James Hennighan Yorkshire, England
WOW 😂
It's so dang good that Marty admired Roger who is great 🎉😂❤
Roger was the sound of the Byrds. Both his vocals and that ringing 12 string Rickenbacker.
Great observation 😁
Marty was jamming through this entire bit.
Hello from MILWAUKEE!!
Thank you Wagoner and Parton for beautiful performance😍🌟🙏
Look at Marty having the time of his life.
Porter porter porter porter
Really enjoyed this.
Thank you for posting! They did a great version of the song. When music was real. 👍 there can be some good country music out there today but it’s rare.
Me encanta
I wonder how many times Clarence played that song with McGuinn using the very same guitar Marty is playing. Clarence was with the Byrds for 4-1/2 years; second only in tenure to McGuinn himself.
Great entertainers
I'm 57 and I grew up listing to classic country. Brings back such wonderful memories.
Roger McGuinn is awesome.
McGuinn's Pete Seeger impression at the beginning is dead-on.
What made Milwaukee famous has made a fool outa'me!😂😂😂
why is her hair the wrong color?
So incredible. Marty looks happy as a kid at Christmas.
Text taken from Bible, ecclesiastic
Nice sounds. Nice axes.
None better than Marty interviewing his peers, he definitely brings out the best in them. I'll never forget when he spoke with John Prine, just terrific - John clearly had a good time.
his Seeger imitation is priceless
Marty is both a wise and humble man to step aside and let McGuinn and his guitar shine. And they surely do light up the stage. And Marty himself is truly elated.
Agreed. Marty, Roger and the Fab Superlatives sound, well, superlative!!
I bet Marty likes the Rickenbacker too😅
when was this live version recorded and on what network is marty stuart on please,i guess the nashville network?
