A sit down interview with Cook Islands Prime Minister Mark Brown
Yes we need to move forward
It's become obvious now that looking into the Treaty Principles is not a solution to the problem at the moment. We must look at the Treaty Tribunal members themselves and what is coming out of there. This has caused all the division, unbalance and trouble throughout the country. Problem 1, Why are 20 tribunal members allowed to interpret the Treaty the way they want to? Problem 2, about 14 are Maori and are strongly bias towards their own people, this is clearly an injustice for NZ. Problem 3, after solving 1 and 2 then we look into the Principals confusion, foreshore and seabed misinterpretation, the different versions of the document, and all the different interpretation by many people through the years, also all progress and development for eg when the Tribunal was set up about 1975 and the way they interpret it now, it is has clear as MUD, also outdated and not a legal document. The mistake Seymour made is that politicians must never go near it this document is not a political football that you kick around.
This not trans, trans transition, it's literally in the name. This is autoguynophelia.
Who cares what this activist thinks
Hipkins is just a puppet sycophant of radical far left tribalist activists. The historical record is crystal clear. The British crown sought sovereignty over New Zealand and Māori ceded it. British colonialism subsequently saved them from their perpetual Stone Age, violent and self-harming existence.
Sorry for me i agree with David bills i have many race o people live in new Zealand paid taxes, have a great new year 😂
Austronesian people ❤
The look on Jane and Chloes face when Susan told them that Maori had a designated part-time rep that handled them... Priceless 🎯 You cant even make up how blatantly disregarded maori are treated in their own country (to the ppl they showed hospitality to)
The brother looks like our very own Maori Superman 🦸♂️ an awesome example for our tamariki. Awesome mahi Te Maire ❤
If it stops making you happy , don't do it, that's real,
Moana, you were really asking him tough questions... you did not let him off the hook. He is well indoctrinated by the government, eventhough I have the feeling that he cares for people. Still, I do not trust him to have the stamina nor the will to stand up against the BS decisions and laws from the PM which is supporting the Agenda. He will not risk to loose this nice job and the amount of power.
The Agenda of the UN is going back to the 80ies and were transferred into the SDG17 of the UN in 2015, an agenda which will run until 2030. The SDG17 have 167 subgoals and anything and everything are based to fulfill the Agendas goals. We must look at the actions of the government and listen to what politicians and decisionmakers when they meet at COP or WEF or WHO and UN meetings. They reveal their plans, but sell them to us as if this was a sovereign national decision made by the local government. Big time scam!!! This has nothing to do with caring for people. It is a business and the elites run it like a business. The SDG17 is a moneymaker for a few and a drama for many.
😂😂😂😂😂
Sell out bootlicker
What a handsome young man. All the very best always along side your dad
Very one-sided and misleading.
The last lady said it all- stop wasting time- go do some work. Pakeha-big deal a Maori term/word for White man.
Neo Librelism ?
Dammm, the number of adults that can search things on UA-cam... but can't research that "white pig" is "ma poaka". You all clearly need to diversify yr friend group and stop listening to propaganda 🙄
This was a great interview 🙌🏽 e mihi ana kia koe Jane 😊 such an incredible mind
Love Winston, next prime Minister of New zealand...
Like when Maori had the majority and still werent allowed to rule? That sort of quiet democracy revolution? 1:22 😂😂😂😂
Beo we gotta share some of this equality also known as Maori privilege. The issue of forced perpetual land leases without owner consultation should be extended d to all land owners. Share the love. 😂😂😂😂
Well said, David. Thank you.
Remember equality for all so I suggest all religions practiced in this country and future arrivals get two paid days holiday with businesses closed and tax rebates for tithes. Just like our christian brothers and sisters. Can I get a witness and an amen up in here? Happy Eid and Happy Duwali in advance 😂😂😂😂
Question. Who's on ATLAS' payroll? 😂😂😂😂
Nz should be fearful if she ever gets any power. She'd drive the country into the ground worse than labour has
'you always go with the Experts' .... seriously Seymour. Can you hear yourself? :/
Snake with forked tongue
What a lovely interview with one of my favorite comedic geniuses.
Beautiful ❤
Excellent interview
Why are guys giving platform to someone who thinks children are kinky ???? Shame
The treaty is between the crown and New Zealanders - there was no such a race as Māori in 1840 - maori with no capital M as an adjective means normal or ordinary people. You invented the Māori race!
Maori party of today are a bunch of clowns🤪
Plastic marae, plastic maori... the lost tribe
Silly Man If they did not cede then they are not British citizens which meant they don't get social housing, they don't get social welfare or doctors nor hospitals nor police help In fact if they did not cede sovereignty Māori should of lived on there own lands and made there own laws and made there own banks and money or kept trading but they would have not been given any education etc. All this was offered if they ceded sovereignty which made them British citizens which comes with all those things i mentioned along with the protection of Great Briton against exploitations or attacks from other countries without ceding sovereignty they wouldn't even be able to fight claims in the land court which was made by the New Zealand Government for the protection of Māori so all the things the government has done would not be allowed to exist
Yet more Maori woke bullshit. Pakeha is and always has been a derogatory term, the Maori equivalent of the N word pPa is the term for settlement ,village where the Maoris lived. Keha is louse, lice, kooties, if you will .So the word Pakeha is referring to someone as village lice. And while I am at it stop this Aotearoa crap. The Maoris had no concept of nation status they were just a bunch of murderous violent tribes constantly warring with each other. The nation of New Zealand has its roots in joint Maori European cohabitation post the treaty.
Moana forever wanting to change subject when challenged! Shows can’t have a decent debate trash interviewer
Saw moana and turned it off
I cannot believe that at 1:53 the lady was saying that the name for the ear is "talinga". In the Micronesian nation of Kiribati, the local name for ear is "taninga". Amazing and now I am beginning to believe the "out-of-Taiwan" migration theory for the people of the Pacific!
Im all for equal rights and all land owners should have their land forced into perpetual leases without owner consultation just like what happens ONLY on maori lol. I thought non Maori would like some of our maori privilege lol. 😂😂😂😂
Equal rights for all. Lets start with all religions practiced in this country and the future religions that nay arrive. I suggest all of them get two days paid holiday off work with busnesses closed. I suggest they also get tax rebates for tithes just like our christian brothers and sisters, can I get a witness and an amen up in here?😂 Lastly happy Eid and happy Duwali in advance. 😂😂😂😂
Special rights???? Yep , take your mutton birds. But no, not seats in government or councils based on treaty or any other definition. No specials there. That dear people is messing with democracy, and that is foolish, foolish indeed.
2:31 she looks like my grandma but with no tattoos!
As we continue to fight for our rights and recognition, it's crucial that our leaders and organizations practice honest transparency. Too often, we see millions of dollars spent on advocacy efforts, yet the average Māori person feels left out and unheard. I believe that our Māori leaders must be honest with us about how funds are being used. It's time to stop hiding behind academic and legal jargon and start reflecting true transparency to our people. Our advocacy should be about benefiting the community, not lining pockets. Let's demand accountability and ensure that our efforts genuinely support Māori rights and sovereignty. Together, we can build a stronger, more transparent movement that truly honors the promises made in the Treaty of Waitangi. What are your thoughts on this? How can we push for greater transparency in our advocacy efforts? #MāoriRights #Transparency #Accountability #HonestLeadership
Yes, Seymour is definitely Maori bashing for votes just like Don Brash because he knows most non-Maori NZers are ignorant about NZ Colonial history upon Maoris. Seymour would rather give the NZ public an oversimplified and false impression of the Maori and the NZ government relationship and history. I think Seymour is also being paid and working for the Corporate sector in a move to override Maori consultation under the Treaty in the environmental issues of oil drilling, mining and other environmental pollutive business ventures. I think he's just a shrewd sneaky weasel pretending to be a humanitarian 😅
totally agree. David Seymour doesn’t give a flying Fart about the “mana” of ALL KIWIS - he’s just serving his corporate puppet masters who sponsor his pockets to garner the favour of removing Te Tiriti responsibilities from their profit targets tagged to the unexploited Māori owned natural resources currently protected by Te Tiriti o Waitangi. David Seymour has affiliations with “The Atlas Group”. A group involved with Oil explorations. With Seymour’s new principals. It gives the NZ government 100% control of all Maori land and Marine zones and they can open these places up for mining and drilling. Which is what ACT and NZ first want to do!!!
dont agree with this not our land full stop come home .
God will always have a special place for you son.
