Tbh I’m super mad about it lol I’ve sent a few emails asking for better support because I’ve had to extend shipping windows on my Etsy listings. To me, it’s unacceptable and I don’t think it’s fair to be prioritizing Printify shipments. I’m sure they are just trying to compete with Lumient on Printify, but it’s not fair to those that are buying direct and likely saving them on fees.

@MegitRain 100% agree. I email them daily as they have not made their 3-5 days SLA since they added their candles to Printify. They told me that they have strict SLAs with Printify so they are prioritized. Then this summer they only shipped candles Mon-Wed because of the weather for their direct clients until the temp was below 105. Now they do it 5 days a week. This is the kind of information that we need as sellers. Communication is 100% lacking and no user Facebook group that they monitor tells alot about how they support their clients. 6-8 days processing is just not acceptable. I do 400+ orders/month with them, and I am scared for Q4. What can we do? Love Hilary & Sidlyn, but maybe this needs to go to their CEO.

I can’t agree more! I’ve requested someone from leadership to reach out to me! I’ll let you know what I hear back. I have a theory about what happened and might make a video about it!

Good question! You would need to integrate with Etsy or Shopify,etc!

Hmmm could be a lot of things depending on your niche. Some things to consider... Has demand for your products decreased? Either due to seasonality or general trends? Has someone copied your designs? That happened to me sadly. It could also be that there are just new designs in the niche that Etsy is prioritizing...

@@MegitRain I'm not sure if someone has copied my designs will look into that! I don't know if it was Algo changes by Etsy either..very disheartening, but am plugging forward and hoping Q4 i will gain back the momentum

There's no definitive rule, but I would recommend testing 10-30 listings every month or so! Obviously if you can afford more, I would do more, but I would make sure you really complete each listing with mock ups and listing details

I agree :/ unfortunately they have some drawbacks. Shipping times are also taking about 5 biz days right now which isn't ideal. they might only make sense if you end up selling enough volume to qualify for the discounts (minimum of $10k)

That’s an amazing start! I feel like starting is the hardest part and then you can keep iterating on what’s working. I honestly feel like if you’re willing to put in the work, you can make several hundred dollars per month relatively quickly! If you have requests for videos you would like to see that you haven’t seen from other creators, please let me know! I’m just having fun making videos that people want to see and potentially helping folks make some semi passive income!

Yes! So make sure you are including your “share & save” link since you are driving the traffic and therefore Etsy will take off 4% of the payment fee. I would experiment with organic content first. Meaning, see if you can get some traction with your short form video without paying.

I made all of my revenue last year on Etsy alone and it still remains my top channel, but I have since expanded to Shopify and am trying to get started on TikTok! I started in the bridesmaid niche and have since branched out to all types of gifting items. I have utilized Printify, Gelato, and Printed Mint!

Hello! Thanks for watching! It means a ton! In terms of your questions, lots of good stuff there! I have a shopify that I am just getting started with. So far, I like it, but it's less profitable than Etsy because I have to pay more for marketing. Instead of dedicating time to Amazon, I've decided to tackle TikTok Shop so I'll report back once I have learnings there. Very good question on logos in mockups and listing copy, you shouldn't have any trouble on other platforms like Shopify, but Etsy is the questionable one. I have asked the same question and haven't heard anything back, but I assume that those companies have a team that flags listings and if you can see it's made by a production partner, there is likely an exception process in place. However, we all know the pain points of having a listing deactivated even though you are following the rules so I think it's likely still a risk. But I will be testing it out and will let you know if I have any troubles!

And I totally forgot to address your first question! Yes! I totally think home decor is a good pick for print on demand. It’s important to pick some sort of niche though! So that’s the most important part!
