    when you have already in the conversation have as your Fundamental pretense which is contrarian in nature of what it seems like the majority of religious or theological thought and necessarily have a abundantly substantiated evidentiary system in its place to be coherent and actually have a thorough sensibles system in its place. You have to start with these two questions. How do you exactly know what you know and how do you know that if you can know it that you personally know anything for certain, but there is not something about you thatis hindering your access to objective truth and reality like how do you not know that you’re actually disabled and your perceived reality is all in your mind and you’re in a comatose dream state? you have to start at epistemology an ontology When I had to start from the bottom and confront these kind of questions after being troubled with them and running from them for years with philosophical reasoning, New sound of evidence and expounded evidence and evidence I already had I was able to bring my reason and intellect more in union with my intuition and experience I’m more certain than ever before that Christ is the personification the incarnation and the source of all objective core reality that cannot be substantiated without him and doesn’t make enough sense in another system. I don’t find a lot of people actually going deep enough when they go through deconstruction and reconstruction, which tells me their process is out of lack of intelligence or out of condescension, wanting to still hold onto a preferable view of reality to make them self feel smart and their perspective and way of life substantiated. I can answer all these questions and make sense of my inground by philosophical answer to these questions only with a truth that has price at the top and in the fabric of the foundation by the way, wherever you live, it looks really nicelike Paradise, like California.

      @@poweredbynyame what I am saying is epistemology and ontology are essential to actually in a intellectually analytical coherent and substantial way are two of the most fundamental inquiries to knowledge itself and you can’t really engage with who what and how is the divine and likewise how it correlates with man and the rest of nature and creation, without engaging in these fundamental fabrics of philosophy. if you don’t go to the very bottom of knowledge and understanding and build up, you likely end up building up on not fully substantiated inferences and assumptions, and that’s just not intellectually conscience, and sometimes even honest. some of the most brilliant minds to these questions have gone insane and a very common conclusion when facing things like mortality and death is that you can’t really know and decline you can’t really know. Is it self refuting because it is inherently a lack of knowledge claim is a knowledge claim so it’s not logically coherent so we have to be able to know things for certain questions and assumptions about the world and the divine and the correlation of it all substantiate the existence of core abstractions love reason, substitute meaningful suffering truth, and the list goes on. I began to experience God years ago, but very quickly. I had these troubling questions and what really was confirmation that penetrated me to the core wasn’t the apologetics or the historical archaeological evidence of Christ, the resurrection and the crucifixion and the miracles regarding outside sources that verify them of Christ wish especially the resurrection and crucifixion is incredibly strong, but these things did not pierce the doubts I’m a poet so it makes sense. Why also, this is the reason but what really penetrated the storm in my mind was there is this thing it’s Aristotelian but also founded by the great philosopher and theologian. Thomas Aquinas is called natural law. which is because God is personal and because the God of the old and New Testament claims that he has revealed himself not just two exclusive electview but to the world more broadly. and this also would be the case just based on the pretenses of the existence of a personal God in which substantiates, inherently, objective morality and reality, and all these core abstractions in general is that you would expect him to be revealed at least to the people that contemplate and experience life on the intricate and contemplative and ruminating level to be able to go there and not be so distracted and consumed by what is trivial. And that is just the case, some of the greatest Poets an philosophers have concluded that all the core Abstractions of lice and essence of law love pain, joy, truth, and so on makes the most sense and really makes only sense out all the other religions in the person and archetype of Christ the Jesus of the New Testament, considering that many of these individuals died, horrific deaths, not with a personal bias on the matter they only had abstract experiences with this Christ through these extensions of his essence, such as love and reason and substantial suffering suffering, the action matters that actually produces wisdom wounds that make craters in the soul in the mind of depth an intricate perception as they died not Christians, which is so tragic but this this evidence not proof truth is unequivocal and indefinite evidence is likelihood, but this evidence is truly worth conjuring for academic and literary reference. I recommend a book. That thoroughly makes this case, called truth and beauty.

    ??? What is divine law? Are you saying having negative thoughts create “sin”

    • @poweredbynyame

      Great questions. The first question depends on what you/we consider the “divine.” Based on that, then whether rules or laws deemed to be issued from that divine. Secondly, I’m saying that anything negative that we harbor, entertain and commit is a transgression against what we deem “divine law.”

    Very important topic! I can relate, my 6 year old niece who I raised was on my lap as we were in a car , I was talking away, finally she said, Auntie your breath stinks... first reaction in my mind was' look at the honesty and boldness from this child." Then I felt shame but said ; thanks for letting me know' and I moved my mouth out of her way. I have been in an inner healing process for many years, honest introspection and HONESTY are at the center of healing wounds and egoism. We carry so much shame and hate emotional pain, the truth really does hurt. Inner healing process is a life a saver.

    So far as knowing the pre-destined function of a person, can this be divined on and found out in a spiritual reading?

    • @poweredbynyame
      @poweredbynyame Місяць тому

      Yes, a destiny can be read but it’s not a simple reading because the decisions we made can stir the ship (our life) one way or the other. In other words, destinies aren’t fixed. Humans have free will and thus choices for a reason. I’ve seen numerous cases where a person’s destiny is set one way and things happen along the rough currents of the sea of life and things happen to our ship/life boat. Life is just too dynamic.

    For a clearer understanding about Obayi/Obeah, could you please answer these? 1. Are you saying that it is possible to be "initiated" into Obayi and that it can be fully awakened by the Ancestors and the Obosom without a formal initiation and human teacher? 2. Do you initiate the melenated into Obayi? 3. Do you do Ancestral root readings? 4. Can you advise any teachers, videos or informational sources that I can can learn more about Obayi and Obeah, please? thank you.

    • @poweredbynyame
      @poweredbynyame Місяць тому

      Greetings. Great questions. I’ll try and respond in order. Since (potentially) have different ideas about initiation, I’ll put that to the side to say anyone can learn spells and ritualistic practices but not everyone can be born with (or granted) the power to achieve the goals of said spells, rituals, etc. And for those persons a human "teacher" is helpful but not required. Spiritual forces and ancestral figures can--and have taught yours truly--teach. Obayi/Obeah requires a discussion. See my "Akan Diaspora" (or Akan Pioneers, 2nd ed.) for a discussion of Obayi/Obeah. I am not sure what a "roots reading" is, though I've heard of it. But I do consultations that cover any and everything. For resources, see the about also "Obeah, Orisa, and Religious Identity in Trinidad," Volumes 1 & 2; Diane Stewart, "Three Eyes for the Journey: African Dimensions of the Jamaican Religious Experience"; "Obeah and Other Powers: The Politics of Caribbean Religion and Healing," among others.

    If witchcraft and voodoo were so great how come it didn't keep us out of bondage from Europeans?

    • @poweredbynyame
      @poweredbynyame Місяць тому

      Good question. My argument was never about how great those practices were/are. European/white Christians were only-and not solely-one of several major actors in the global enslavement of Africans. Arab/Muslims, Indian/Hindu, Chinese/Confucius, indigenous peoples in US (among other places), and of course “Africans” and others were also involved. The matter of enslavement is bigger than a set of spiritual practices, which persisted under and outlasted the legal forms of “slavery.” See my “Transatlantic Africa,” 2nd ed for a fuller response to your question.

    I recently found one with three seeds inside while in the mountains of Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. In Ifa divination, the black seed is the Ibo tool that symbolizes Orunmila, the Orisha of wisdom and knowledge. He is both wise and patient, so it makes sense why the elders chose this fruit to represent Orunmila. Thank you for sharing your insights and knowledge. I’m always inspired by your unique insights into African psychology.

      Thank you for sharing that. I wasn’t aware of the association with Orunmila. Well-done! Stay well.

    Thank you for sharing and pointing out the distinction between both concepts/practices. Putting both into perspective with the Ackee analogy was very helpful!

    Thank you My Spiritual Brother for sharing this beautiful knowledge. Water is all i drink everyday, people compliment how beautiful my skin is and i've had two doctors tell me i was drinking to much water and putting myself at risk for water poisoning this didn't deter me or stop me from drinking water. I have house plants some are on a weekly schedule to receive their nourishment from water, and some get their nourishment of water bi-weekly they never go unwatered and i've had them for six years my guest always compliment how healthy and beautiful they are or ask for a snipping, starting today i will start using this ritual to offer water too my Ancestors.
