Questions About Enlightenment
Переглядів 4914 годин тому
"Hi! I'm thinking about the "having" or getting to get enlightenment. If consciousness doesn't go backwards that means you can't un-enlighten yourself? If you can't... and that means you can't "not have it" anymore... Wouldn't that mean that you actually never "had it" to begin with? Like it's not something that you can have or get? If so, then what? Is it be something that could just be activa...

Why do we project so much, I wonder? Is it because we believe others react similar to the way we do and / or our opinion is correct when it might be way off base? (Ego)

Thank you - Your video has made me realise we have a choice of perspective over the events in our lives. I have always liked the Chinese symbol for crisis and opportunity as one way to conceptualise this. But something about your video extends that to a realisation that we all unconsciously are moving towards consciousness - that it is in fact our spirit or soul guiding us. -The memes about life is happening for you still places the locus of responsibility on an outside force of life rather than a co creation with circumstances as divine beings. That orientation you offer encourages the embrace of empowerment and curiosity rather than the punishment/reward system that we have been conditioned in.

Hey, however the camera or post-processing is handled seems really distracting from your message. I'm staring at the blurring around your body and looking at the odd unknown object in your hand, thinking about the possibility of drones, green screens, etc., wondering how the mic picks up your voice but not the drone or environment much, wondering about my unnatural perspective (for a human) hovering and moving backward - all this rather than the message. Videos are really hard, though, and the message is attractive. Thanks...

@@stephenmontague6930 Thank you for your feedback Stephen. I used a 360 camera on a pole for this segment. You can see the reflection of the pole and camera on the ground. The post production software removes the pole from the shot. I wear a microphone when I am recording so the audio is clear. The only way out is through. My life was like that for 30 years. Slowly coming out of it now. It helps, like you said, to just focus on the next 10 seconds (if that's all you can do) or the next 10 minutes. It also helps, weirdly, to know you got through so many days like that before. Yeah, they ground you down to nothing, but you're still here. And there's nothing left to break after a while anyway, and then the pain loses all its power.

Every single word you spoke made complete sense to me for reasons I will withhold, but for sure, it resonated within like no other on this mad tube web malarkey. Thank you for just, well putting into words, how someone like myself can feel but not entirely verbally explain to anyone. I hope your influence in future can reach more self like individuals.

Seen too many, hiding behind, these spiritual things, and sometimes even using them, kicking around on courses or other things, too long.Or using it to, go without any at all concience , or real inner change, or willingness to get real, when needed to be real, in whatever they think they got a freepass to. Thank You <3

Being present is being aware of the immediate actions of being and becoming both are the same thing as being present in life. When you are not distracted by the circumstances of the past or the possibilities of the future. Living intentionally without getting outside of the actions that you are doing. Simply being focused on the immediate function of your entire mind, body and soul. No big deal,,,not multi-tasking or competition, comparisons or judgment on what you are doing. It makes sense and is way more efficient and more effective than wandering around in your head while you are involved with living with enthusiasm and passionate involvement. Like when you are absolutely enraptured in the process of creating art ,making love or any kind of situation that is captivating and timeless because of your total involvement. ❤

Great video, thanks for making it, but I have a question. I had a horrible, traumatising childhood but somehow managed to heal myself from it. I've reached inner peace and tranquillity, I have exchanged my bad habits for good ones, I have hobbies that I do, I have some good friends and for the most part succeeded with my carreer. I'm only about to hit 23. What now? Obvious answer is have a wife and kids, but I'm surrounded by women that Ifind childish and imature, to mature women I'm just a child due to my age. I'm stuck in a paradox and that is the only thing that worries me. Do you happen to have some advice?

@furtheremergence Returning after having a listen. The spiral concept reminded me of a wonderful song "Tool - Lateralus". Sadly the lack of context and further elaboration on my part didn't allow you to hit the mark on what exactly is going on in my life, which is fair enough. A lot of things described where already done and dealt with, for example, wife and kids is something I'd want, because I feel like I am capable of raising an offspring to have a good character and soul and am capable of living with a person disregarding any contempt towards the SO, due to the fact I've reached the capability of having pure love towards life and other beings, from other humans, pets, plants and even criters like mosquitoes, to soil, dust and other lifeless objects, the yearning for material objects isn't something that plagues me, I've transcend that, I seldom follow what others care for blindly and live rather minimalistic life, because it's not a new shiny thing that will bring me joy, but an experience, and if I want a new shiny thing, it's because I see it as a wonderful tool to expand my experience of reality in a certain wait that suits me. But the words did help, because I had forgotten the simple yet profound truth of "give it time". Thanks for the reminder and the contemplation I received from your words will make for a great journal entry, cheers for that and good luck in your future adventures, hopefully the weather's going to get better so you can have your walk in the wilderness 🍀 :))

Wise words about thought and tendencies of thought and what it assumes as "self". Our brain, given language tends to do thinking, that is what a brain does and we assume so much about the labels. "Whatever the self is, its essence is unknown but constantly revealing itself.”, like David Bohm put it.

Excellent insight, appreciated. Default to kindness is powerful message and way to phrase it I feel. This is something I usually tend to do but see a lot of people not doing so (but disguising it), and the way of life that we are assumed to see as normal tends to neglect defaulting to kindness far too often or be too partial/short-sighted? If there is an emotional imbalance, the defaulting to kindness can get lost much more easily, have observed it happen to myself too. Balance can help with that, through meditation or reminders, such as this powerful phrase I suppose. Thanks for this, brought some thoughts.
